[Capabilities of pharmacological correction with Reamberin the cerebrovascular disorders with ENT diseases of the elderly patients].

Endointoxication's syndrome and manifestations of immune deficiency observed among elderly patients with acute exacerbations of ENT diseases and concomitant cerebrovascular pathology. Reamberin in pathogenetic therapy arrests manifestations of intoxication and optimizes immunobiological homeostasis.

[Efficacy of reamberin for the treatment of acute intestinal infections caused by opportunistic bacteria].

Reamberin was shown to improve the efficacy of the treatment of acute intestinal infections caused by opportunistic bacteria. Its introduction into combined therapy accelerated normalization of the patients' general conditions, improved their well-being, eliminated syndrome of infectious toxicosis, diarrheic and abdominal pain syndromes, decreased duration of postinfectious asthenia, had beneficial effect on biochemical and immune parameters. Reamberin reduced the level of medium-sized molecules and malonic dialdehyde to the upper normal value which suggests elimination of endogenous "metabolic" intoxication syndrome, normalization of the level of circulating immune complexes and their fractional composition. The study showed that introduction of reamberin in combined therapy of acute intestinal infections is pathogenetically justified.

[Estimation of clinical-pathogenetic efficiency of reamberin and cycloferon application in patients with the severe form of acute tonsillitis].

Efficiency of reamberin and cycloferon application combination at the patients with the heavy form of acute tonsillitis was investigated. It is set that cycloferon and reamberin application in the complex of treatment of the patients with this pathology is instrumental in normalization of the general state and feel of patients, liquidation of both commontoxic syndrome and local inflammatory displays in pharynx, and also normalization of the studied biochemical and immunological indexes. Application of cycloferon and reamberin provides the decline of "average molecules" and malon dialdehyde level to norm, that testifies about liquidation endogenous "metabolic" intoxication syndrome, and also instrumental in normalization of phagocytes activity of monocytes indexes, that describe normalize operating of the indicated preparation on the macrophage phagocytes system.

[Increase of antibacterial therapy efficacy in chronic sepsis with cycloferon and reamberin combination].

The use of reamberin and cycloferon combination for increasing the antibacterial therapy efficacy in patients with chronic sepsis (CS) was studied. It was shown that the combination provided more rapid elimination of the CS exacerbation symptoms, normalization of the hematologic indices, bacteriemia eradication and reduction of the cytokine blood profile--normal serum levels of proinflammatory (IL-1beta, IL-2, IL-6 and TNF-alpha) and antiinflammatory (IL-4) cytokines. The findings allowed to considered the use of the reamberin and cycloferon combination in the treatment of patients with CS pathogenetically reasonable and clinically perspective for increasing the antibacterial therapy efficacy.

[Influence of сycloferon on the сytokine blood profile and production of proinflammatory сytokines in the cultures of mononucleares of peripheral blood of the patients with chronic tonsillitis].

The 88 patients with chronic tonsillitis (CT) was investigated. The 46 patients (basic group) got the modern immunoactive preparation cycloferon and 42 patients (comparison group) - only the generally accepted therapy. During immunological researches on a background clinical manifestation of СT the increase proinflammatory cytokines (CK) (TNFα, IL-1Β) in the serum, and also increase the level of spontaneous products of these CK in the cultures mononucleares of periferal blood was detected. At general accepted treatment took place increase level proinflammatory CK at serum on background decline stimulated product of CK at mononucleares cultures. Aрplication of cycloferon at the treatment of CT provided to normalization cytokines profile of the blood and production of CK in the cultures mononucleares.

[Efficiency of cycloferon and reamberin combination at the treatment of the patients with chronic sepsis].

The cytokine profile of blood (CPB) at the patients with chronic sepsis (CS) streptococcus or mixed (by a streptococcus and to staphylococcus etiology) was studied. To beginning of the treatment at intensifying of CS at the patients was detected the substantial increase of maintenance of proinflammatory (IL - 1ß, IL - 2, IL - 6, TNF -α) cytokines (CК) in the blood serum at the moderate increase of antiinflammatory CK (IL-4). Thus, indexes, characterizing correlation pro- and antiinflammatory CК was rate, that testified to predominating of proinflammatory potencies of blood. Application in the complex treatment of the patients with CS combination of modern detoxic preparation reamberin and immunoactive preparation cycloferon promotes normalizations of CK maintenance in the blood and betweennesss by them. In a clinical plan the use of the reamberin and cycloferon combination provided acceleration of CS intensifying liquidation. Finding allow to consider pathogenetic reasonable and clinically perspective application of this preparations combination in treatment of the patients with CS.

[Pathogenetic ground of including reamberin and cycloferon combination into the therapy program for patients with severe cases of acute tonsillitis of a mixed viral/bacterial etiology].

The increase of severe cases of acute tonsillitis (AT) is presently marked. Severe cases of AT disturb immune and metabolic homoeostasis initiating the development of disease. Therapy optimization is required to select the best treatment. In patients with severe cases of AT of mixed viral/bacterial etiology before the treatment it is revealed the increase of general activity of lactatedehydrigenase (LDH) and increase of the level of cathode "anaerobic" factions LDH4+5 and the decline of concentration ATP in the blood. There was a compensatory rise of level of ADP and АМP. The substantial decline of serum interferon (CIF) activity and diminishing maintenance of α-interferon (α-IFN) and γ-interferon (γ-IFN) in the blood of the patients, that testified to oppressing of interferonogenesis. Treatment of severe cases of AT of mixed viral/bacterial etiology of modern detoxic preparation reamberin and immunoactive preparation cycloferon combination positively influences the studied laboratory indexes. The improvement of power metabolism is marked, that was characterized by normalization of level adenine nucleotides (ATP, АDP, АМP) and general activity of LDH and its izoenzimes spectrum. At the same time the increase of CIF level is set, maintenances α-IFN and γ-IFN in the blood, that testified to the improvement of interferonogenesis. The results demonstrate the therapeutic potential of reamberin and cycloferon combination for treatment of patients with AT of mixed viral/bacterial etiology.

[Efficiency of enterosorbent white coal* in the treatment of patients with hepatic cirrhosis].

Efficiency of enterosorbent White Coal (aerosil) at the treatment of the patients with hepatic cirrhosis (HC) was investigated. It was set that including of enterosorbent White Coal to the complex treatment of the patients with HC provided more fast liqudation clinical symptoms and provided archievment of clinical-biochemical remission and at pathogenetic plan - decrease of concentration "average molecules", lipoperoxidation's products, increase of antioxydant system enzymes in the serum that testified about liqudation "metabolic intoxication" and oxidative stress syndromes.

[Effectiveness of Reamberin in correction of oxidative stress syndrome in patients with phlegmonous and gangrenous erysipelas against the background of the 2 type diabetes mellitus].

The influence of modern detoxic preparation Reamberin on indicators of oxidative stress syndrome (OSS)--the content of lipoperoxidation products was investigated. It was established that inclusion of Reamberin in the complex of surgical treatment of destructive forms of erysipelas on the background of type 2 DM accelerates the liquidation of OSS.

[Estimation of efficiency reamberin in the correction of endogenous intoxication syndrome at the patients with the phlegmonous and gangrenous forms of erysipelas on background diabetes mellitus at their surgical treatment].

The influence of modern detoxic preparation reamberin on indicators of the of endogenous intoxication syndrome (EIS)--the level of average molecules, malon dialdehyde, cyrcukatiry immune complexes and its fractional composition in blood serum of the patients with destructive forms of erysipelas--phlegmonous and gangrenous on background diabetes mellitus (DM). It is established that the inclusion of reamberin in the complex surgical treatment of destructive forms of erysipelas on background DM accelerates the elimination of SEI. From this we can recommend the use of reamberin in the complex surgical treatment of complicated forms of erysipelas on background DM.

[The antioxidant correction of cytogenetic disorders in viral hepatitis]. / Korrektsiia antioksidantami tsitogeneticheskikh narushenii pri virusnom gepatite.

It has been established that in the acute period of viral hepatitis (VH) the level of chromosome aberrations is 4.4-fold and 6.6-fold that of the norm in VHA and VHB respectively, with the chromatid type aberrations predominating. Frequency of metaphases with chromosome aberrations in substantially higher in patients selected from those categories of individuals working at chemical enterprises and persons living in the zone of exposure to discharges from huge metallurgical works and coking plants. There is a correlation between the markedness of cytogenetic disturbances and degree of cellular immune deficiency. Use of antioxidants (tocopheroli acetas, parmidin, quercetin) in the complex of drug preparations contributes to the normalization of cytogenetic indices and reduction of frequency of protracted and chronic forms of hepatitis.

[The clinico-immunological characteristics and treatment of an intestinal infection of Klebsiella etiology]. / Kliniko-immunologicheskie osobennosti i lechenie kishechnoi infektsii klebsielleznoi étiologii.

The examination of 265 patients with the diagnosis of acute enteric infection (AEI) of Klebsiella revealed that the disease took a mild course in 40%, a moderate course in 45.3% and a severe course in 14.7% of the patients. The clinical syndromes of acute gastritis, gastroenteritis, enteritis were observed; in cases of the severe course of AEI the hemolytic [correction of hemocolitic] syndrome was present. Immune shifts were characterized by T lymphopenia, a decrease in the number of T helpers/inductors (CD 4), the immunoregulatory indices (CD 4/CD 8), an increase in the level of circulating immune complexes. These levels reached their maximum in case of the severe course of Klebsiella infection and were retained till the patient was discharged from the hospital and, if any concomitant pathology was present, even for 1-3 months after discharge.

[Immune status of patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus]. / Immunnyi status bol'nykh insulinnezavisimym sakharnym diabetom.

Immune status of 48 patients with noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) was studied by the cytotoxic test with monoclonal antibodies. The majority of NIDDM patients were found to develop secondary immunodeficiency of the relative hyposuppressor type, the degree of immune shifts augmenting with the disease duration and as they acquire insulin dependence.

[The immune status of patients with typhoid fever]. / Immunnyi status u bol'nykh briushnym tifom.

The immune status in 48 typhoid fever (TF) patients has been studied. As revealed in this study, during the fever period of the disease pronounced disturbances in immune homeostasis are observed, which are manifested by T lymphopenia, the prevalence of suppressor subpopulations of T lymphocytes with the prevalence of T helpers, a considerable rise in the level of circulating immune complexes (CIC), mainly highly pathogenic medium- and low-molecular complexes. At the early period of convalescence the preservation of all these signs is indicative of fact that the treat of TF relapse is present. IN the prognosis of the disease the most informative signs are a decrease in the number of T lymphocytes and active (early) rosette-forming cells, an increase in the level of CIC and the presence of 75% and more highly pathogenic medium- and low-molecular complexes among them.

[The effect of the ecologically adverse factors of a Donets Basin industrial region on the clinico-immunological indices of patients with viral hepatitis A and B]. / Vliianie ékologicheski neblagopriiatnykh faktorov industrial'nogo regiona Donbassa na kliniko-immunologicheskie pokazateli u bol'nykh virusnym gepatitom A i B.

Clinicoimmunological features of viral hepatitis A and B (VH A and VH B) were studied in residents of unfavorable (from the environmental standpoint) regions. 180 VH A, 86 VII B patients were examined. Clinical picture of VH was characterized by predominance of more severe forms, frequent occurrence of cholestatic variant of VH, high rate of protracted and recurrent (in VH B) course of VH, hepato- and splenomegaly of long duration. The immunologic status was characterized by more pronounced T-lymphopenia, noticeable imbalance of T-helpers and T-suppressors, decrease in the level of immunoglobulins, as well as in phagocytic activity of neutrophilic granulocytes and monocytes in peripheral blood. The use of adaptogens and antioxidants in multimodality treatment promotes rapid normalization of clinicoimmunological parameters in VH.

[Use of an "immunologic compass" for diagnosis of immune disorders in clean-up crew members after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant]. / Ispol'zovanie "immunologicheskogo kompasa" dlia diagnostiki immunnykh narushenii u uchastnikov likvidatsii posledstvii avarii na Chernobyl'skoi AES.

A total of 389 patients with cerebrovascular diseases who participated in liquidation of the Chernobyl power plant accident consequences were examined using rosette formation test and the cytotoxic method with monoclonal antibodies (MCAB). The predominant type of immunologic abnormalities found in 79.1% of patients was a marked reduction of CD4+ cell (T-helpers/inductors) count and a moderate reduction of CD8+ (T-suppressor/keller) count, this resulting in reduction of the CD4/CD8 coefficient. In 11.3% of the examinees CD(4+)-lymphocyte count was reduced and CD8+ count was within the normal range, in 6.2% both CD4+ and CD8+ counts were reduced, and in 3.4% CD4+ count was reduced and CD8+ moderately elevated. Results of theophylline test did not coincide with those of CD4+ and CD8+ measurements in 44.2% of cases.

[The pathogenetic role of circulating immune complexes in multiple sclerosis]. / Patogeneticheskaia rol' tsirkuliruiushchikh immunnykh kompleksov pri rasseiannom skleroze.

CIC in multiple sclerosis were assessed qualitatively and quantitatively. CIC changes in response to hormone therapy were also studied. It was found that in multiple sclerosis CIC contain antibodies to brain tissue, thymus, hepatic lipoprotein, adrenal cortex, leukocytes, gastric mucosa. A positive response of CIC levels to hormone treatment is stated.
