RESUMO

The title set consists of six pairs of neutral filters with different optical density ranging from 0.03 to 1.5 B, a pair of filters made of colour yellow glass, and a holder having the same dimensions as the microplate and serving for the installation of the filters in the photometer checked. Every pair consists of two filters with identical optical parameters. The dimensions of the pair of filters allow covering all eight channels of the photometer simultaneously. The filters are certified with the error not more than +/- 0.003 B in the spectral range 360-700 nm. The yellow glass filter allows checking the dual wavelength mode of investigation.

RESUMO

The spectrum and decay curves of phosphorescence of mouse liver cells at --180 degrees C was studied using the phosphorescence microscope. The phosphorescence studied was shown to involve two components with different life spans. Part of either component in the total spectrum is estimated. A conclusion is made that at least two different centers (or groups of centers) exist in cells with the same spectral region of phosphorescence with highly diverging life times of triplet states.

RESUMO

Phosphorescence of ribonucleosides and desoxyribonucleosides is studied. The phosphorescence spectra of polycrystalline powders of adenosine, guanosine, thymidine, uridine, cytidine, desoxyadenosine, desoxyguanosine and desoxycytidine are recorded at -175 degrees C as well as the decay curves at -175 degrees C. The phosphorescence spectrum of guanosine is also recorded at room temperature. The decay times of phosphorescence of adenosine and cytidine are determined at room temperature too. Obtained values of pi for nucleosides are shorter than those for nucleic acid bases.
