RESUMO

Enhancing political trust is an important manifestation of China's ability to modernisation national governance in the media age. In the context where unofficial media has a crowding-out effect on official media, building political trust effectively becomes an important foundation for promoting the construction of a national governance system. This study employs the 2015 survey data on social consciousness of netizens and constructs a moderated mediation model using the bootstrap method, with subjective well-being as the intermediary variable and official media use as the moderating variable, to empirically explore the influence of unofficial media use on political trust and its underlying mechanism. The results reveal that unofficial media use significantly and steadily deconstructing political trust. In terms of the mechanism of transmission, subjective well-being is an important channel used by unofficial media use to deconstruct political trust, official media has a positive moderating role in the impact pathway of subjective well-being on political trust. Further research finds that unofficial media use has a stronger impact on trust in the central government, court, and police, compared to trust in township governments. Weibo or online communities and overseas media can deconstruct political trust, however, gossip or chatting with friends can construct political trust. In general, this study provides theoretical basis and empirical experience for how to enhance government trust and ultimately promote the construction of national governance system, given the increasing influence of unofficial media. Meanwhile, the research results also provide some reference value for countries with similar backgrounds to China.

RESUMO

The low-carbon economy is a green development mode of modern social and economic development. In this paper, an evaluation model of the green economy development level based on GA-BP is constructed, and the related parameters and network structure of the two algorithms are designed and optimized. The test results show that the predicted value of GA-BP has a high degree of fit to the actual value, and the data fitting performance is good. The prediction results are in good agreement with the objective reality, which is helpful to put forward appropriate development modes and development path suggestions for the regional development of the low-carbon economy.

To investigate the inhibitory effect and mechanism of chloroform extracts from Longdan Xiegan decoction(CELX) against hydrolytic enzymes activity of Candida albicans isolated from vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC) patients. Secreted aspartyl proteinase(Sap), phospholipase(PL) and lipase(Lip) positive strains were identified from 15 strains of C. albicans with milk culture medium, egg yolk culture medium and tween-80 medium, respectively. Then, the activities of Sap, PL, and Lip were detected in the above media. qRT-PCR was used to detect the changes in gene expressions of aspartic protease(SAP1-7,10), phospholipase B(PLB1-2) and lipase(LIP3-6). Secreted aspartyl proteinase and phospholipase of 15 VVC clinical strains were positive, and lipase of 11 strains were positive. Compared with the blank control group, the drug CELX-containing medium(milk medium, egg yolk culture medium, tween-80 medium) experiment showed that the sedimentation of colonies decreased gradually in each culture medium with the increase of CELX dose. When the concentration of CELX was 256 mg•L⁻¹, the colony almost disappeared, which indicated the enzyme activity was significantly weakened. The results of qRT-PCR showed that SAP1, SAP2, SAP3, SAP4, SAP7, SAP9 and SAP10 were down-regulated by 62%, 55%, 62%, 84%, 61%, 51%, 68%, respectively, except for SAP5 and SAP6; and PLB1, LIP3, LIP4, LIP6 were down-regulated by 67%, 51%, 54%, 55%, respectively. The findings suggested that CELX may inhibit the activities of Sap, PL, and Lip, which are important virulence factors of C. albicans.

Ceria (CeO2) nanocubes were synthesized by a hydrothermal method and weak ferromagnetism was observed in room temperature. After ultraviolet irradiation, the saturation magnetization was significantly enhanced from ~3.18 × 10-3 to ~1.89 × 10-2 emu g-1. This is due to the increase of oxygen vacancies in CeO2 structure which was confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectra. The first-principle calculation with Vienna ab-initio simulation package was used to illustrate the enhanced ferromagnetism mechanism after calculating the density of states (DOSs) and partial density of states (PDOSs) of CeO2 without and with different oxygen vacancies. It was found that the increase of oxygen vacancies will enlarge the PDOSs of Ce 4f orbital and DOSs. Two electrons in one oxygen vacancy are respectively excited to 4f orbital of two Ce atoms neighboring the vacancy, making these electron spin directions on 4f orbitals of these two Ce atoms parallel. This superexchange interaction leads to the formation of ferromagnetism in CeO2 at room temperature. Our work indicates that ultraviolet irradiation is an effective method to enhance the magnetism of CeO2 nanocube, and the first-principle calculation can understand well the enhanced magnetism.

A folded elastic strip-based triboelectric nanogenerator (FS-TENG) made from two folded double-layer elastic strips of Al/PET and PTFE/PET can achieve multiple functions by low frequency mechanical motion. A single FS-TENG with strip width of 3 cm and length of 27 cm can generate a maximum output current, open-circuit voltage, and peak power of 55 µA, 840 V, and 7.33 mW at deformation frequency of 4 Hz with amplitude of 2.5 cm, respectively. This FS-TENG can work as a weight sensor due to its good elasticity. An integrated generator assembled by four FS-TENGs (IFS-TENG) can harvest the energy of human motion like flapping hands and walking steps. In addition, the IFS-TENG combined with electromagnetically induced electricity can achieve a completely self-driven doorbell with flashing lights. Moreover, a box-like generator integrated by four IFS-TENGs inside can work in horizontal or random motion modes and can be improved to harvest energy in all directions. This work promotes the research of completely self-driven systems and energy harvesting of human motion for applications in our daily life.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of the combination of sub-MIC sodium houttuyfonate and erythromycin on biofilm of Staphylococcus epidermidis. METHOD: The serial dilution method was adopted to determine MIC of the combination of sodium houttuyfonate and erythromycin on S. epidermidis; the checkerboard method was used to evaluate the combination of sodium houttuyfonate and erythromycin on suspended bacteria of S. epidermidis; S. epidermidis biofilm was built in vitro, and XTT reduction assay was used to evaluate the effect of the combination of sub-MIC sodium houttuyfonate and erythromycin on the adhesion of S. epidermidis and bacterial metabolism inside the biofilm. Microscope was applied to observe the impact the single administration and combination of the two medicines under sub-MIC on biofilm morphology of S. epidermidis. RESULT: The MIC of sodium houttuyfonate and erythromycin were 62.5, 7.812 5 mg x L(-1), respectively. The combination of 1/8MIC sodium houttuyfonate and 1/2MIC erythronmycin showed a synergistic effect on S. epidermidis. Sodium houttuyfonate, erythromycin and their combination had an inhibitory effect on the adhesion and metabolism of S. epidermidis biofilm bacteria, and made impact on the morphology of S. epidermidis biofilm. CONCLUSION: The sub-MIC sodium houttuyfonate and erythromycin have an inhibitory effect on S. epidermidis biofilm. The combination of sodium houttuyfonate and erythromycin shows a synergistic effect in inhibiting suspended bacteria and biofilm of S. epidermidis, particularly in inhibiting the metabolism of S. epidermidis biofilm bacteria and impacting the morphology of biofilm.

Food restriction has been shown to increase self-administration of psychostimulants, including cocaine and amphetamine (AMPH). Consistent with this, food-restricted rats are more sensitized to the rewarding effects of cocaine as measured by conditioned place preference (CPP). This study investigated whether moderate food restriction in rats (15 g/day) results in an increased CPP, relative to ad libitum-fed controls, to a second psychostimulant, AMPH. Conditioning trials consisted of six alternating injections of i.p. AMPH (0.425-6.8 mg/kg) and i.p. saline, paired with distinct environments. On Day 7, a drug-free 20-min choice test for environment was carried out to assess CPP. 0.85 mg/kg AMPH significantly increased CPP in food-restricted vs. ad libitum-fed rats. At 1.7 and 3.4 mg/kg AMPH, food-restricted rats showed decreased CPP, but increased locomotor activity, relative to ad libitum fed controls. To evaluate whether an alteration in extracellular fluid DA levels in the nucleus accumbens (NAc) core could account for these behavioral alterations, DA release was measured by microdialysis. DA release to a single acute i.p. injection of either 0.85 or 1.7 mg/kg AMPH was comparable in food-restricted and ad libitum fed rats. However, ad libitum fed rats demonstrated conditioned DA release after an AMPH conditioning paradigm analogous to the CPP paradigm, whereas food-restricted rats demonstrated no conditioned DA release. In conclusion, altered DA release in the nucleus accumbens core is not a primary effect of moderate food restriction and cannot completely account for either the altered CPP behavior or enhanced locomotor activity observed in this study.
