RESUMO

A highly efficient gas sensor for the detection of triethylamine based on candy-like WO3/Fe2O3 nanocomposite was prepared. The control of morphology and sensing performance of n-n heterojunction WO3/Fe2O3 nanocomposites were successfully achieved by the modulation of Fe element content. When the ratio of Fe to W is 0.4, the candy-like nanocomposite of WO3/Fe2O3 with great performance is obtained. It is interesting that the candy-like nanocomposite of WO3/Fe2O3 with a large specific surface area exhibits better selectivity and sensitivity for sensing TEA gases at a lower operating temperature (260 °C) compared with the gas sensor prepared by using WO3 alone. To verify the feasibility, the sensing mechanism was investigated and real sample tests were conducted and discussed. Finally, a TEA gas sensor with low limit of detection, short response/recovery time (15/162 s), and high sensitivity was developed. In addition, the prepared gas sensor has satisfactory stability and selectivity and has practical application value.

RESUMO

In order to achieve rapid and sensitive detection of CYFRA 21-1, a signal-off photoelectrochemical (PEC) immunosensor was devised with NiCo2O4/CdIn2S4/In2S3 heterojunction photoactive materials as sensing platform and ReS2@Au NPs as the secondary antibody labels amplifying signal based on the energy band-matching cascade structure and double suppression effect. NiCo2O4 possessed a faster charge transfer rate due to the abundance of redox electron pairs (Co3+/Co2+ and Ni3+/Ni2+). To further improve the PEC properties of NiCo2O4 under visible light, CdIn2S4 with matching bandgap energy was selected to form heterojunction with NiCo2O4 and sensitized with In2S3. The proposed heterojunctions with well-matched band structure promoted the transfer of photo-generated carriers and were exploited as signal transducers for immobilization of antibodies and recognition of CYFRA 21-1. Furthermore, a novel urchin-like p-type ReS2 semiconductor nanostructure functionalized by Au NPs was firstly used as a nanolabel to quench the signal. On the one hand, the Schottky heterojunction generated by ReS2 and Au NPs could compete with the transducer substrate for both light and electron donors. On the other hand, the large space steric hindrance of ReS2 prevented contact between the matrix and AA. Subsequently, the sensor was sensitive in a wide range of concentrations for CYFRA 21-1 (0.0001-50 ng/mL), and the detection limit was 0.05 pg/mL.

RESUMO

A signal-enhanced photoelectrochemical immunoassay technique for detecting neuron specific enolase (NSE) was proposed. As a photoactive matrix, (Ce,Ag):Sb2WO6 was firstly investigated via doping Ce and Ag into Sb2WO6. It could be found that the presence of Ce and Ag not only had enormous variation on the morphology of Sb2WO6, but also showed excellent PEC behavior. In order to further improve the visible light utilization rate of (Ce,Ag):Sb2WO6, In2S3 was modified onto the surface of (Ce,Ag):Sb2WO6 to enhance visible light absorption. In addition, the CdS/PDA was served as a secondary antibody marker to further amplify signal. Especially, PDA as an electron donor could effectively remove photogenerated holes. Meanwhile, the good matching cascade band-edge levels between CdS and Sb2WO6 could promote photoelectron migration, improve the PEC response, and achieve sensitive detection of NSE. Under the selected excellent conditions, the photocurrent can linearly increase with the increase of NSE concentration in the operating range from 0.1 pg/mL to 50 ng/mL, and the limit of detection is 1.57 fg/mL. The constructed immunosensor also exhibits satisfactory stability, selectivity, and reproducibility, and it creates conditions for the detection of other biomolecules.
