Pentaclethra macroloba (Willd.), whose common name is "pracaxi," is naturally found in the Amazon region. The present study is aimed at analyzing the anatomy, seed histochemistry, and chemical composition in fatty acid profile of P. macroloba seed oils. Seeds were collected in the cities of Belém, Marituba, and São Domingos do Capim-PA. For the study in light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and histochemistry, seeds were sectioned in cross and longitudinal sections of the embryonic axis and fixed in formaldehyde, acetic acid, and 50% ethyl alcohol; neutral-buffered formalin; and formaldehyde and ferrous sulfate and stored in 70% ethyl alcohol. For the anatomical study, the seeds were subjected to the usual techniques of plant anatomy. Histochemical tests were performed on plant material, freehand sectioned, and embedded in histological paraffin with DMSO. The fatty acid profile was determined for gas chromatography (GC-FID). Integument is divided into three strata, monoseriate exotesta, mesotesta formed by several layers of parenchyma cells, and monoseriate endotesta, formed by compressed cells. Cotyledons are composed of thin-walled parenchyma cells with several secretory cavities and secretory idioblasts. The main metabolic classes are lipids, phenolic compounds, carbohydrates, proteins, and alkaloids. The main fatty acids found in P. macroloba oil are oleic, behenic, lignoceric, and linoleic. P. macroloba seeds have important anatomical characteristics for their circumscription in Leguminosae and also in Caesalpinioideae, and their oil is rich in fatty acids essential to the human diet, providing many benefits to the human health, such as fatty acids belonging to the omega family (linoleic, oleic).

Plectranthus ornatus is a medicinal and aromatic plant used in traditional and alternative medicine. In this study, leaves of P. ornatus were collected in two cities of the state of Pará, "Quatipuru" and "Barcarena", and were used with the objective of analyzing, through morphoanatomical data and histochemical and phytochemical studies of essential oil, the samples present structural differences and differences in their chemical composition. Anatomical and histochemical analyses were performed by transverse, using longitudinal sections of 8 µm to 10 µm to perform epidermal dissociation, diaphonization, and tests to identify classes of secondary metabolites. The essential oils were isolated by hydrodistillation, and the identification of the chemical composition was performed by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. The anatomical study shows that there is no difference between specimens collected in different locations, and stellate trichomes were identified. The histochemical study detected total lipids and acids, terpenes, polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, tannins, alkaloids, and calcium oxalate. The low essential oil yield may be related to the low density of secretory cells (glandular trichomes), the unidentified compounds in the highest concentration in the essential oil were in relation to the chemical composition of the essential oils, and the major compounds were α-pinene, sabinene, (E)-caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide, and oct-1-en-3-ol. The results provide new information about the anatomy and histochemistry of P. ornatus.

A pandemia de Covid-19 modificou drasticamente a vida das pessoas, inclusive as formas como vivenciaram o lazer. Entre as opções no período de quarentena se destacaram o lazer virtual e os jogos eletrônicos. Portanto essa pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar as vivências de lazer dos universitários da Faculdade de Educação Física da Universidade Estadual de Campinas no que se refere ao uso dos jogos eletrônicos durante o período de distanciamento social estabelecido pela pandemia de Covid-19. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo por meio da aplicação de um questionário online, que foi respondido por universitários da Faculdade de Educação Física da Unicamp. Os dados foram analisados pela estatística descritiva. Os resultados mostraram que a maioria dos/as participantes da pesquisa utilizaram o lazer virtual e os jogos eletrônicos nos tempos "livres" durante o período citado.


The Covid-19 pandemic has drastically changed people's lives, including the ways they experience leisure. Among the options in the quarantine period, virtual leisure and electronic games stood out. Therefore, research aimed to analyze the leisure experiences of university students from the Faculty of Physical Education of the State University of Campinas regarding the use of electronic games during the period of social distancing established by the Covid-19 pandemic. A bibliographical and field research was carried out through the application of an online questionnaire, which was answered by university students from the Faculty of Physical Education at Unicamp. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that most of the researchparticipants used virtual leisure and electronic games in their "free" time during the mentioned period.

Adolescents' dyadic relationships are likely influenced by the cultural context within which they exist. This study applied a person-oriented approach to examine how perceived support and negativity were manifested across youths' relationships with mothers, fathers, and best friends, simultaneously, and how distinct relationship profiles were linked to adaptive and maladaptive functioning (aggression, anxious-withdrawal, prosociality) within and across cultures. Participants resided in metropolitan areas of South Korea, the United States, and Portugal (10-14 years; N = 1,233). Latent profile analyses identified relationship profiles that were culturally common or specific. Additional findings highlighted commonality in the relations between a high-quality relationship profile and adaptive functioning, as well as cultural specificity in the buffering and differential effects of distinct relationship profiles on social-behavioral outcomes.

Interpersonal adversity such as peer victimization has been shown to have complex associations with other socio-emotional difficulties, particularly during adolescence. We used a multidimensional peer nomination measure on a sample of 440 (52% girls) 11- to 17-year-old (M = 13.14 years, SD = 1.26) Portuguese youths to identify three groups, classified by peers as (1) victimized adolescents who showed anxious withdrawn behaviors in the context of the peer group (n = 111), (2) victimized adolescents who did not exhibit anxious withdrawn behaviors (n = 104), and (3) non-victimized adolescents (n = 225). We compared these groups on their peer-reported social functioning and on their self-reported feelings of social and emotional loneliness (with peers and family). Anxiously withdrawn victims were viewed by peers as more excluded, less aggressive, less prosocial, and less popular than non-withdrawn victims and non-victims. Non-anxiously withdrawn victims were considered more excluded than non-victims, and more aggressive than both anxiously withdrawn victims and non-victims. Finally, anxiously withdrawn victims reported feeling less integrated and intimate with their peers than non-withdrawn victims and non-victims, which is indicative of greater feelings of social and emotional loneliness at school. Youths in the current study did not report feeling lonely in their family environment. Our findings thus provide further evidence that victimized youths constitute a heterogeneous group, which differ in the way they behave toward their peers and experience loneliness.

O ingresso na universidade proporciona experiências que vão além do ambiente acadêmico, possibilita uma nova visão de mundo e um crescimento pessoal, social e profissional. A partir desse contexto, essa pesquisa buscou compreender o papel das atividades complementares na formação dos/as alunos/as e egressos/as na graduação da Faculdade de Educação Física da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (FEF/Unicamp). Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo, esta por meio de um questionário online, respondido por 55 participantes. Os dados foram analisados por meio da estatística analítica e da análise de conteúdo. Os resultados mostraram que as atividades complementares estão presentes na trajetória de grande parte dos/as alunos/as da FEF/Unicamp e tem um papel relevante em suas formações. Faz-se necessária a criação de políticas estudantis que garantam a participação democrática e igualitária de todos/as os/as alunos/as nessas atividades, assim como uma maior valorização desses espaços de formação.


Getting into a University provides experiences that go beyond academic environment itself; enabling a new world view with  personal, social and professional growth. From this context, this research aimed to understand the role of complementary activities in the development of students and graduates at the Physical Education College of the University of Campinas. A bibliographic and field research were conducted in which a semi-structured questionnaire was applied, made available and answered by 55 students and graduates through an online platform. The data were analyzed using analytical statistics and content analysis. The results show that the complementary activities were part of the trajectory of most students and they had an important role in their education. It is necessary to create student policy that guarantee democratic and equal participation of all students in these complementary activities, and it is also paramount to have valorization of these spaces of development.


Ingresar a la universidad brinda experiencias que van más allá del entorno académico, posibilita una nueva cosmovisión y crecimiento personal, social y profesional. Desde este contexto, esta investigación buscó comprender el papel de las actividades complementarias en la formación de estudiantes y egresados ​​de la carrera de pregrado de la Facultad de Educación Física de la Universidad Estadual de Campinas. Se realizó una investigación bibliográfica y de campo, a través de un cuestionario semi-estructurado, respondido por 55 participantes. Los datos se analizaron mediante estadísticas analíticas y análisis de contenido. Los resultados mostraron que las actividades complementarias están presentes en la trayectoria de la mayoría de los estudiantes y tienen un papel relevante en su formación. Es necesario generar políticas estudiantiles que garanticen la participación democrática e igualitaria de todos los estudiantes en estas actividades, así como una mayor valoración de estos espacios de formación.

BACKGROUND: Few researchers have examined young adolescents' perceived qualities and satisfaction in their relationships with their mothers, fathers and best friends simultaneously, using a cross-cultural perspective. This study aimed to compare the perceived qualities and satisfaction of USA and Portuguese adolescents in their relationships with their parents and best friends and to examine the influence of perceived relationship qualities on the satisfaction of young adolescents with their close relationships. METHODS: The sample consisted of 347 USA adolescents (170 boys, 177 girls) and 360 Portuguese adolescents (176 boys, 184 girls) who completed the Network of Relationships Inventory Social Provision Version to assess perceived support, negativity, power balance and satisfaction in their relationships with their mothers, fathers and same-sex best friends. RESULTS: Adolescents from both countries perceived their relationships with parents to be more negative and imbalanced in power than their relationships with friends, but the magnitude of differences was greater in the USA. Furthermore, USA adolescents reported higher satisfaction in their relationships with friends than in their relationships with parents. Country differences in the concomitants of relationship satisfaction were found. CONCLUSIONS: These findings support the notion that young adolescents' perceived qualities and satisfaction in close relationships may differ depending on cultural norms.

We examine the factorial structure of the Security Scale Questionnaire (SSQ), exploring measurement invariance across mother-father-child attachment relationships, child sex, and country. We used the new 21-item SSQ version that integrates both safe haven and secure base behaviors in a two factors structure. Participants were 457 children (224 girls and 233 boys), ranging from 9 to 14 years old (M = 10.84, SD = 1.02) from Portuguese and USA samples. We confirmed the SSQ's two-factor structure, although four items were unrelated to the latent structure and excluded from the final model. Results showed that SSQ can be used to study both mother/child and father/child attachment relationships. Multi-group analyses suggested measurement invariance between boys and girls and between Portuguese and USA samples. Our findings suggest that the SSQ can be considered a valid and cost-effective tool to measure perceived attachment security in middle childhood for both mother/child and father/child relationships.

Using a sample of Portuguese preschool-age children, we aimed to identify different play profiles based on teachers' descriptions of social and non-social behaviors, as well as characterize them in terms of children's characteristics (sex and temperament) and fathers' parenting styles (e.g., warmth and involvement or punitive strategies). The 243 children were distributed across four profiles (identified through a two-stage cluster analysis): Solitary/Reticent, Social Rough, Social, and Social Solitary. A univariate effect was found between play profiles and children's effortful control, as well as fathers' punitive strategies. In addition, a significant multivariate interaction was found between child's sex and the Solitary/Reticent and Social Rough profiles for father's punitive strategies. In this sample, children with social play profiles seem to use diverse types of behaviors during their interactions with peers and in being adjusted within the group. As children's early experiences with peers are a central context for healthy development, a better understating of the diversity of play profiles and its predictors is important for early interventions.

A pandemia da Covid-19 tem sido marcada por um período de isolamento social. Por isso, há uma tendência das atividades de lazer se alterarem ou se adaptarem às opções dentro das residências. Por meio de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e da aplicação de um questionário online, buscamos comparar as atividades de lazer vivenciadas antes e durante a pandemia e, ainda, procuramos compreender a importância atribuída por adultos e idosos ao lazer. Como resultados, constatamos que os (as) participantes alteraram significativamente seus hábitos de lazer, principalmente no que se refere aos interesses sociais, físico-esportivos e turísticos. Além disso, a grande maioria entende o lazer como algo fundamental na vida e uma parcela dos (as) pesquisados (as) tem percebido menos tempo livre para usufruí-lo no período de isolamento social, pois o trabalho e as tarefas do dia a dia estão cada vez mais imbricados.


The Covid-19 pandemic has been marked by a period of social isolation. Therefore, there is a tendency for leisure activities to change or adapt to options within the homes. Through a bibliographic search and the application of an online questionnaire, we seek to compare the leisure activities experienced before and during the pandemic and, still, we try to understand the importance attributed by adults and elderly people to leisure. As a result, we found that the participants significantly changed their leisure habits, especially with regard to social, physical-sporting and tourist interests. In addition, the vast majority understand leisure as something fundamental in life and a portion of those surveyed has perceived less free time to enjoy it in the period of social isolation, as work and day-to-day tasks are increasingly imbricated.

O estudo teve como objetivo analisar a inserção da Educação Física (EF) em duas escolas que participaram do projeto Educação de Tempo Integral implantado no município de Campi-nas/SP na perspectiva dos/as professores/as. Foi realizada pesquisa qualitativa, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, com 11 professores/as de EF que atuavam nas referidas escolas. Foram analisados: jornada de trabalho, estrutura de trabalho, matriz curricular, planejamento e interdisciplinaridade. Os resultados mostraram que não houve uma adequação da estrutura física para implementação da jornada completa; houve aumento na quantidade de aulas de Educação Física; há dificuldade na realização de planejamento conjunto e trabalho interdisciplinar.


The studyaimed to analyze the insertion of Physical Education (PE) in two schools that par-ticipated in the Integral Time Education project in the city of Campinas/SP from the perspective of teachers. A qualitative research was carried out, through semi-structured interviews, with 11 PE teachers who worked in these schools. The following elements were analyzed: work day, work structure, curricular matrix, planning and interdisciplinarity. The results showed that there was no adequacy of the physical structure for full-time implementation; there was an increase in the number of Physical Education classes; there is difficulty in carry-ing out joint planning and interdisciplinary work.


El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la inserción de la Educación Física (EF) en dos escue-las que participaron del proyecto Educación de Tiempo Integral implantado en el municipio de Campinas/SP desde la perspectiva de los docentes. Se realizó una investigación cualitativa, a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas, con 11 profesores/as de EF que actuaban en dichas escuelas. Se analizaron: jornada de trabajo, estructura de trabajo, matriz curricular, planifica-ción e interdisciplinariedad. Los resultados mostraron que no hubo una adecuación de la es-tructura física para la implementación de la jornada completa; hubo un aumento en la cantidad de clases de Educación Física; hay dificultad en la realización de planificación conjunta y trabajo interdisciplinario.

A Perspectiva do Lazer Sério é um viés importante para compreensão do esporte universitário no tempo livre. Ela determina que praticantes de lazer sério apresentem persistência, carreira, empenho, benefícios duráveis, ethos único e identificação com uma prática de lazer. O flag ­ prática derivada do futebol americano, um dos esportes que mais se populariza no Brasil na atualidade ­ é praticado por atletas brasileiros também em nível universitário. Os objetivos desse estudo foram verificar a presença das qualidades do lazer sério nos atletas de flag do time masculino Eucalyptus Unicamp e verificar a importância do esporte em suas vidas. Este estudo de caso coletou dados por meio de observação, questionário, Inventário de Medidas em Lazer Sério e entrevistas. Os resultados apontam que as qualidades estão presentes no relacionamento atleta/flag, além de demonstrar a centralidade do esporte na vida dos participantes.


The Serious Leisure Perspective is an interesting bias for understanding college sports in Brazil and free time. It determines that serious leisure practitioners present persistence, career, effort, durable benefits, unique ethos and identification with the pursuit. The flag - practice derived from Football, one of the most popular sports in Brazil nowadays - is practiced by Brazilians also at college level. The objectives of this study were to verify the presence of serious leisure qualities in the relationship athletes of the Eucalyptus Unicamp men's team have with the sport and verify the importance of flag in their lives. This case study collected data through observation, questionnaire, Serious Leisure Inventory and Measure and interviews. The results point out that the qualities are present in the athlete/flag relationship, besides it was demonstrated the centrality of the sport in the participants' lives.

Peer victimization is one of the most prominent problems during adolescence. Research has distinguished aggressive and non-aggressive victims; however, there are still significant drawbacks in understanding the social and family functioning of these different groups of victimized adolescents. This study aimed to compare social behavior and perceived attachment security to parents of Portuguese adolescents, classified as aggressive victims, non-aggressive victims and non-victims. The sample consisted of 222 adolescents (115 boys, 107 girls) who completed the Kerns Security Scale and the Extended Class Play, to assess perceived attachment security and social behavior, respectively. Controlling for age and sex, aggressive victims and non-aggressive victims differed in anxious withdrawal but shared a similar profile in peer exclusion and prosocial behavior. Only aggressive victims reported lower attachment security to mother and father when compared to non-victims. These findings underline that victimized adolescents constitute a heterogeneous group in terms of their social and family functioning.

Anxious withdrawal has been associated consistently with adverse peer experiences. However, research has also shown that there is significant heterogeneity among anxiously withdrawn youth. Further, extant research has focused primarily on negative peer experiences and outcomes; little is known about the more successful social experiences of anxiously withdrawn youth. We explored the possibility that the association between anxious withdrawal and group-level peer outcomes (exclusion, victimization, and popularity) might be moderated by peer-valued behaviors (prosocial behavior), friendship relational attributes, and sex, even after accounting for the effects of being involved in a reciprocal best friendship. Peer nominations of psychosocial functioning, and self-reports of best friendships and friendship quality were collected in a community sample of 684 Portuguese young adolescents. Regression analyses revealed that more anxious withdrawn adolescents showed worst group-level peer outcomes, but that: (a) prosocial behavior buffered the positive association between anxious-withdrawal and peer exclusion, particularly for boys; (b) higher friendship quality was associated with lower risk of peer victimization for more anxious-withdrawn girls, but with a higher risk for more anxious withdrawn boys; and (c) higher friendship conflict buffered the positive association between anxious withdrawal and peer exclusion for boys. Results are discussed in terms of the implications of peer-valued characteristics on the peer group experiences of anxiously withdrawn young adolescents.

There has been a rapid growth of studies focused on selection and socialization processes of peer groups, mostly due to the development of stochastic actor-based models to analyze longitudinal social network data. One of the core assumptions of these models is that individuals have an accurate knowledge of the dyadic relationships within their network (i.e., who is and is not connected to whom). Recent cross-sectional findings suggest that elementary school children are very inaccurate in perceiving their classmates' dyadic relationships. These findings question the validity of stochastic actor-based models to study the developmental dynamics of children and carry implications for future research as well as for the interpretation of past findings. The goal of the present study was thus to further explore the adequacy of the accuracy assumption, analysing data from three longitudinal samples of different age groups (elementary school children and adolescents). Our results support the validity of stochastic actor-based models to study the network of adolescents and suggest that the violation of the accuracy assumption for elementary school children is not as severe as previously thought.

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar os aspectos gerenciais do Clube Fazenda Ribeirão, localizado na cidade de Holambra-SP, com ênfase no oferecimento das atividades de lazer e na participação dos gestores e associados nesse processo. Do ponto de vista metodológico, trata-se de um estudo de caso com pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e exploratória descritiva. Foram aplicados questionários aos associados e realizadas entrevistas com os gestores do clube. As análises mostraram que as atividades de lazer oferecidas no clube são baseadas na demanda, e não nos anseios dos sócios, e que há poucas opções para as mulheres, assim como programações que contemplem os diversos interesses do lazer. Foi verificado ainda que a atividade mais praticada no clube é o futebol. Também foram citadas as propostas dos associados para o clube: a construção de uma academia, a reforma do parquinho e o aquecimento da piscina.


This research had as objective to analyze the managerial aspects of Clube Fazenda Ribeirão, located in the city of Holambra/SP, with emphasis on the offer of leisure activities and the participation of managers and associates in this process. From a methodological point of view, it was a case study with bibliographical, documental and exploratory descriptive research. Questionnaires were applied to the associates and interviews were conducted with the club managers. The analyzes showed that the leisure activities offered at the club are based on the demand and not the wishes of the associates, that there are few options for the women, as well as schedules that contemplate the diverse interests of the leisure. It was also found that the most practiced activity in the club is soccer. Also mentioned were the proposals that the associates had for the club: the construction of a gym, the playground reform and the heating of the pool.

Dentre as diversas atividades de lazer que se podem vivenciar nos espaços públicos, encontra-se o circo. Nesse contexto, um conjunto de encontros circenses vem se consolidando em diversas cidades brasileiras. Estudamos dois deles, realizados no estado de São Paulo, com o objetivo de conhecer suas formas de organização e as motivações que configuram a participação de jovens e adultos nesses encontros. Para tal, realizamos uma pesquisa de campo que incluiu a observação-participante e a aplicação de questionários a participantes e organizadores. Os resultados indicaram que os encontros representam uma forma de lazer e de difusão do circo e contribuem para o desenvolvimento técnico e artístico do circo, assim como para uma maior integração social e novos usos dos espaços públicos. Em ambos, as redes sociais são sua plataforma de divulgação e comunicação, e as adversidades climáticas, o maior desafio para sua manutenção.


Among the many leisure activities that one can experience in public areas, is the circus. In this context, a set of circus meetings has been consolidated in several Brazilian cities. We studied two of them, conducted in the state of São Paulo, in order to meet their forms of organization and the motivations that shape the participation of young people and adults in these meetings. To this end, we conducted a field survey that included participant observation and questionnaires to participants and organizers. The results indicated that the meetings represent a form of leisure and circus dissemination and contribute to the technical and artistic development of the circus, as well as to greater social integration and new uses of public spaces. In both social networks are its dissemination and communication platform, and climatic adversities, the biggest challenge for its maintenance.

RESUMO

O objetivo foi analisar a Lei Orgânica e o Plano Diretor que sustentam as políticas públicas de lazer de Brotas/SP. O enfoque foi dado aos pontos implementados, com especial atenção à gestão da intersetorial do lazer, uma das diretrizes de trabalho do município. O corpus documental foi composto por decretos, atas e despachos, complementado pela observação do cotidiano das ações de lazer do município. As legislações para o lazer em Brotas indicavam um equilíbrio entre o lazer esportivo participativo e ambiental e o lazer turístico, sendo que o segundo deveria gerar recursos e formação de pessoal para implementar políticas públicas voltadas ao cidadão brotense. Contudo, ao analisarmos as ações, identificamos um descompasso entre as duas ênfases dadas ao lazer. O lazer turístico de negócios foi o maior foco da prefeitura e houve nessa administração a facilitação do turismo exploratório, em que os negócios se direcionavam aos interesses privados e privatistas.


The work analyzed the Organic Law and the Master Plan that underpin leisure policies in Brotas, SP, Brazil. The focus was on measures implemented, with special attention to management of the inter-sector coordination of leisure, one of the municipal guidelines. The document corpus included decrees, acts and ordinances, complemented by observation of daily leisure activities in that municipality. Brotas’s leisure legislation indicated balance between participatory and environmental sports leisure and tourist leisure. The latter should generate resources and staff training for the former, in order to implement policies aimed at local citizens. However, by analyzing the actions, we found a mismatch between the two emphases given to leisure. Business tourism leisure was the focus of the municipal administration, which facilitated exploratory tourism where business aimed at private and privatizing interests.


El objetivo fue analizar la Ley Orgánica y el Plan Director que sustentan las políticas públicas de ocio de Brotas/SP. El foco se colocó en los puntos implementados, con especial atención a la gestión intersectorial del ocio, una de las directrices de trabajo del municipio. El corpus documental fue compuesto por decretos, actas y despachos, complementados por la observación de la cotidianidad de las actividades de ocio del municipio. La legislación para el ocio en Brotas indicaba un equilibrio entre el ocio deportivo participativo y ambiental y el ocio turístico, donde el segundo debería generar recursos y capacitación del personal para implementar políticas públicas dirigidas a los ciudadanos de Brotas. Sin embargo, al analizar las acciones identificaron una falta de correspondencia entre los dos énfasis dados al ocio. El ocio turístico de negocios fue el foco principal del ayuntamiento y en esa administración se facilitó el turismo exploratorio, donde los negocios se dirigían a intereses privados y privatistas.

RESUMO

O objetivo deste trabalho foi descrever e analisar criticamente, a partir do município de Brotas, São Paulo, autointitulado capital brasileira da aventura, as condições de trabalho dos, autodenominados, profissionais da aventura. Como metodologia, este artigo apresenta o cruzamento de dados de duas pesquisas: uma etnografia sobre as rotinas da aventura e uma triangulação de análise documental, observação participante e entrevistas com gestores desse município. Encontramos que apesar de haver uma disputa política entre entidades do turismo e do esporte, a realidade de seus profissionais borra as fronteiras desses campos. Concluímos que pensar a aventura como campo híbrido em uma acepção mais geral de lazer pode auxiliar em posturas mais colaborativas para a resolução dos problemas da formação e da atuação profissionais, tais como: informalidade, sazonalidade, baixa remuneração e periculosidade.


The objective of this study was to describe and analyze critically, from the municipality of Brotas, São Paulo, Brazil's self-titled adventure capital, the working conditions of, self-appointed, adventure professionals. As methodology, this article presents the intersection of data from two researches: an ethnography on the routines of adventure and a triangulation of documentary analysis, participant observation and interviews with managers of this municipality. We found that although there is a political dispute between tourism and sports entities, the reality of their professionals blurs the boundaries of these s. We conclude that thinking adventure as a hybrid , in a more general sense of leisure, can assist in more collaborative attitudes towards solving the problems of training and professional practice, such as informality, seasonality, low pay and dangerousness.

O retraimento social dos adolescentes refere-se ao auto-isolamento relativamente ao seu grupo de pares, que se traduz num comportamento solitário manifestado de forma consistente (em diferentes situações e ao longo do tempo) e na presença de pares com quem têm familiaridade ou não. Este comportamento pode ter consequências negativas, principalmente na adolescência e pode ser um fator preditor de ajustamento psicossocial. Este estudo tem por objetivo analisar a relação entre o retraimento social e o ajustamento sócio-emocional, em termos de comportamento e competências académicas em meio escolar. Participaram no estudo 348 estudantes, com uma média de idades de 14 anos e residência na região da grande Lisboa. Os dados do retraimento social foram recolhidos através da adaptação do Extended Class Play e os do ajustamento sócio-emocional através da adaptação do Teacher-Child Rating Scale. Os resultados mostram que os professores perceberam os adolescentes socialmente retraídos como sendo menos assertivos e como tendo menos aptidões sociais com os pares. Estes resultados apontam para constrangimentos na sua capacidade de ajustamento sócio-emocional à escola.(AU).


Adolescents social withdrawal refers to the self-isolation relative to their peer group translating into a solitary behavior manifested consistently (in different situations and over time) and in the presence of either familiar or unfamiliar peers. This behavior can have negative consequences, especially in adolescence and can be a predictor of psychosocial adjustment. This study aims to analyze the relationship between social withdrawal and socio-emotional adjustment in terms of behavior and academic skills in the school environment. A total of 348 students participated in the study, with a mean age of 14 years and living in Lisbon metropolitan region. The data of social withdrawal were collected through the Portuguese adaptation of the Extended Class Play and the socio-emotional adjustment data through the Teacher-Child Rating Scale. The results show that teachers perceived the socially withdrawn young as less assertive and as having fewer social skills with peers. These results point to constraints on the ability of social-emotional adjustment to school.(AU).


El retraimiento social se refiere al auto-aislamiento de los jóvenes en relación con su grupo de pares que se traduce en un comportamiento solitario manifestado constantemente (en diferentes situaciones y con el tiempo) y en presencia, ya sea de los pares familiares o no familiares. Este comportamiento puede tener consecuencias negativas, sobre todo en la adolescencia, y puede ser un factor de pronóstico/un antecedente de la adaptación psicosocial. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar la relación entre el aislamiento social y el ajuste socio-emocional en términos de comportamiento y las habilidades en la escuela. Trescientos cuarenta y ocho estudiantes participaron en el estudio, con una edad media de 14 años, y que viven en la región de Lisboa. Los datos del aislamiento social fueron recogidos a través de la adaptación portuguesa del Extended Class Play y los del ajuste socio-emocional a través del Teacher-Child Rating Scale. Los resultados muestran que los profesores perciben a los jóvenes socialmente aislados como menos asertivos y como teniendo menos habilidades sociales con sus pares. Estos resultados apuntan a las limitaciones en la capacidad de ajuste social y emocional a la escuela.(AU).
