RESUMO

Objective To explore the scientific research output of the comprehensive three-A hospitals in Fujian Province, provide reference for the development of deepening medical reform work plan in Fujian Province. Methods The bibliometric method was used to analyze the publication of scientific and technical papers of 24 comprehensive Three-A hospitals in Fujian Province from 2006 to 2015 and the number of projects of each hospital in this decade. Results Compared with the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan",the five-year growth rate of the total number of papers published by 24 hospitals has increased 13.1% in the "twelfth Five-Year Plan",and increasing rate of SCI papers was 308.7%.The number of publication during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" was higher than previous one.The total number of publications in recent ten years was keeping increasing. The number of papers published by coastal city hospitals is significantly higher than that of mountain city hospitals. Conclusions The publication of research papers in 24 comprehensive Three-A hospitals in Fujian Province from 2006 to 2015 showed an overall upward trend.Compared with the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan",the research papers have significantly improved both in quantity and quality. The research output of the third-grade class-A hospitals in Fujian Province is regionally strong. It is recommended that the medical and health departments of Fujian Province should pay attention to the scientific research investment of mountainous city hospitals, avoid regional imbalances, strengthen the construction of high-level talents, establish scientific research incentives and promote inter-regional cooperation.

RESUMO

With the development of medical innovation ability, the research output becomes more and more diversified. However, regarding to the indexes for evaluating the scientific research output, domestic scholars have variety of opinions. This article briefly introduces the commonly used research output indexes in China, including papers, monographs, patent and related achievements.Such outputs are divided into literature metrology index and Alternative metrics.Authors hope this attempt can establish a suitable evaluation index system of medical scientific research output in Fujian province.

RESUMO

Third-grade class A hospitals undertake three tasks-medical service, scientific research and teaching.scientific research is the motivation for third-grade class A hospitals' continuous development and also an important symbol of their medical and academic level. On the purpose of evaluating overall scientific level of such hospitals this thesis analyze the scientific projects and the outcomes of 34 hospitals by using the method of literature research and questionnaire, extracting advantages for scientific research, seeking their problems and coming up with corresponding strategy.have analyzed the achievements we acquired as well as the problems still existing.According to the reality of Fujian Province, some suggestions are coming up with so as to improve the scientific research.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy of short-segment transpedicular fixation combined with augmentation vertebroplasty in treatment of thoracolumbar burst fractures. MethodsFrom November 2006 to September 2009, 37 patients with thoracolumbar burst fracture were admitted and received transpedicular fixation combined with calcium sulfate cement augmentation vertebroplasty, and the clinical data including fracture types, complications and following-up results were collected for analysis. The multimethod evaluation strategies involved the anterior vertebral body height, the sagittal Cobb's angle, the restoration of nervous function, internal fixation failure, visual analogue scale (VAS) and Oswestry disability index (ODI) were retrospective analyzed. Results All patients were followed up for average 19 months (range, 14-37). There were no internal fixation failure, loss of reduction, neurological complications in all the patients. In 16 patients with partial neurologic deficits, 14 initially improved at the final follow-up, with no deterioration of neurologic functions. The mean time of calcium sulfate cement obvious absorption and union was 3 months and 5 months postoperatively, respectively. The anterior vertebral body height was 55.40%before surgery and 85.46% after surgery on average, ended up with 82.35%. The sagittai Cobb's angle was improved from 22.45° to 6.86°, ended up with 9.66° on average. The mean VAS and ODI at the final followup were respectively 1.2 and 20.4 on average. ConclusionShort-segment transpedicular fixation combined with augmentation vertebroplasty appears to be effective in achieving stable biomechanics with high security, which seems to be a feasible option in the management of thoracolumbar burst fractures.
