RESUMO
The authors present complex hygienic characteristics of work conditions for workers engaged into metallurgic process of ferrovanadium production. Chemical factors were shown as having complex influences. Occupational risk for the workers' health was estimated. Categories of a priori occupational risk for workers are valued from average (considerable) risk to very high (intolerable) risk. Factors that are priorities for development of occupationally induced diseases are disclosed. Reliable cause-effect relationships between working environment factors and the workers' diseases are determined. Work conditions appeared to play considerable role in respiratory tract diseases (average degree of occupational conditionality). Differences between workshops in fractional composition and concentration of dust, as major components of occupational factors complex, develop pathologic changes in various levels of respiratory system.

The article covers prevalence of risk factors concerning cardiovascular diseases and health disorders in workers due to occupational hazards of textile production, criteria for early diagnosis of arterial hypertension. To prevent arterial hypertension and its progress into severe cardiovascular diseases in the workers, the authors necessitated complex of medical and preventive measures.

Features of diurnal profile of blood pressure in workers having serum level of benzol and ethylbenzene are high systolic and diastolic arterial blood pressure during the day, index of systolic arterial pressure time and index diastolic arterial pressure time was also high. These features should be considered in anti-hypertensives prescription.

The authors evaluated influence of phenol, o-cresol, m-cresol and p-cresol on cellular immunity in apparatus operators engaged into chemical production. Detection covered significant membrane and intracellular markers characterizing peculiarities of cellular immune reactions in contamination with phenols (CD4+ deficit, hyperproduction of FoxP3 and CD25+).

Workers exposed to aromatic hydrocarbons appeared to have prevalence of heterozygous variants of CYP1A1 gene (9893 A/G) and tumor necrosis factor gene reliably higher vs. the reference group 2.5 and 3.3 times respectively, and level of anti-benzene antibodies (IgG) increased vs. the reference group. The data presented demonstrate negative immunogenetic associations of aromatic hydrocarbons influence on oil extraction operators.

The goal of the investigation was to detect and assess the specific features of abnormal biochemical and immunological parameters in children living in the industrially developed areas in order to solve the tasks of early diagnosis and to enhance the efficiency of prevention of the chronic pattern of gastroduodenal diseases. It was found that children with increased contamination of biological media had more active inflammatory reactions with a trend towards the chronic pattern of an inflammatory process, altered antioxidant defense and a more common chronic inflammatory process in the biliary tract, and more significant cytolysis syndrome with gallbladder concentration dysfunction.
