RESUMO

This research study consists of a newly proposed Atangana-Baleanu derivative for transmission dynamics of the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic. Taking the advantage of non-local Atangana-Baleanu fractional-derivative approach, the dynamics of the well-known COVID-19 have been examined and analyzed with the induction of various infection phases and multiple routes of transmissions. For this purpose, an attempt is made to present a novel approach that initially formulates the proposed model using classical integer-order differential equations, followed by application of the fractal fractional derivative for obtaining the fractional COVID-19 model having arbitrary order Ψ and the fractal dimension Ξ . With this motive, some basic properties of the model that include equilibria and reproduction number are presented as well. Then, the stability of the equilibrium points is examined. Furthermore, a novel numerical method is introduced based on Adams-Bashforth fractal-fractional approach for the derivation of an iterative scheme of the fractal-fractional ABC model. This in turns, has helped us to obtained detailed graphical representation for several values of fractional and fractal orders Ψ and Ξ , respectively. In the end, graphical results and numerical simulation are presented for comprehending the impacts of the different model parameters and fractional order on the disease dynamics and the control. The outcomes of this research would provide strong theoretical insights for understanding mechanism of the infectious diseases and help the worldwide practitioners in adopting controlling strategies.

RESUMO

COVID-19 is a respiratory disease that causes infection in both lungs and the upper respiratory tract. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared it a global pandemic because of its rapid spread across the globe. The most common way for COVID-19 diagnosis is real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) which takes a significant amount of time to get the result. Computer based medical image analysis is more beneficial for the diagnosis of such disease as it can give better results in less time. Computed Tomography (CT) scans are used to monitor lung diseases including COVID-19. In this work, a hybrid model for COVID-19 detection has developed which has two key stages. In the first stage, we have fine-tuned the parameters of the pre-trained convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to extract some features from the COVID-19 affected lungs. As pre-trained CNNs, we have used two standard CNNs namely, GoogleNet and ResNet18. Then, we have proposed a hybrid meta-heuristic feature selection (FS) algorithm, named as Manta Ray Foraging based Golden Ratio Optimizer (MRFGRO) to select the most significant feature subset. The proposed model is implemented over three publicly available datasets, namely, COVID-CT dataset, SARS-COV-2 dataset, and MOSMED dataset, and attains state-of-the-art classification accuracies of 99.15%, 99.42% and 95.57% respectively. Obtained results confirm that the proposed approach is quite efficient when compared to the local texture descriptors used for COVID-19 detection from chest CT-scan images.

RESUMO

Introduction: The fusion of fractional order differential equations and fuzzy numbers has been widely used in modelling different engineering and applied sciences problems. In addition to these, the Allee effect, which is of high importance in field of biology and ecology, has also shown great contribution among other fields of sciences to study the correlation between density and the mean fitness of the subject. Objectives: The present paper is intended to measure uncertain dynamics of an economy by restructuring the Cobb-Douglas paradigm of the renowned Solow-Swan model. The purpose of study is further boosted innovatively by subsuming the perception of logistic growth with Allee effect in the dynamics of physical capital and labor force. Methods: Fractional order derivative and neutrosophic fuzzy (NF) theory are applied on the parameters of the Cobb-Douglas equation. Distinctively, cogitating fractional order derivative to study the change at each fractional stage; single-valued triangular neutrosophic fuzzy numbers (SVTNFN) to cope the uncertain situations; logistic growth function with Allee effect to analyze the factors in natural way, are the significant and novel features of this endeavor. Results: The incorporation of the aforementioned theories and effects in the Cobb-Douglas equation, resulted in producing maximum sustainable capital investment and maximum capacity of labor force. The solutions in intervals located different possible solutions for different membership degrees, which accumulated the uncertain circumstances of a country. Conclusion: Explicitly, these notions add new facts and figures not only in the dynamical study of capital and labor, which has been overlooked in classical models, but also left the door open for discussion and implementation on classical models of different fields.

RESUMO

Doping is the key feature in semiconductor device fabrication. Many strategies have been discovered for controlling doping in the area of semiconductor physics during the past few decades. Electrical doping is a promising strategy that is used for effective tuning of the charge populations, electronic properties, and transmission properties. This doping process reduces the risk of high temperature, contamination of foreign particles. Significant experimental and theoretical efforts are demonstrated to study the characteristics of electrical doping during the past few decades. In this article, we first briefly review the historical roadmap of electrical doping. Secondly, we will discuss electrical doping at the molecular level. Thus, we will review some experimental works at the molecular level along with we review a variety of research works that are performed based on electrical doping. Then we figure out importance of electrical doping and its importance. Furthermore, we describe the methods of electrical doping. Finally, we conclude with a brief comparative study between electrical and conventional doping methods.

RESUMO

In this work, influence of hybrid nanofluids (Cu and [Formula: see text]) on MHD Maxwell fluid due to pressure gradient are discussed. By introducing dimensionless variables the governing equations with all levied initial and boundary conditions are converted into dimensionless form. Fractional model for Maxwell fluid is established by Caputo time fractional differential operator. The dimensionless expression for concentration, temperature and velocity are found using Laplace transform. As a result, it is found that fluid properties show dual behavior for small and large time and by increasing volumetric fraction temperature increases and velocity decreases respectively. Further, we compared the Maxwell, Casson and Newtonian fluids and found that Newtonian fluid has greater velocity due to less viscosity. Draw the graphs of temperature and velocity by Mathcad software and discuss the behavior of flow parameters and the effect of fractional parameters.
