RESUMO
There are two molecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(24)H(22)N(2)O(4)S. The conformation of the seven-membered ring is twisted boat for both molecules. The molecule is chiral, but crystal symmetry generates a recemate. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-Hâ¯O hydrogen bonds.

RESUMO
The title compound, C(11)H(12)ClNO(4)S, adopts a Z configuration about the C=C double bond. The benzisothia-zole system is essentially planar [maximum deviation of 0.235â (2)â Å for the S atom]. In the crystal, the mol-ecules stack parallel to each other in the b-axis direction, with inter-planar spacings for the benzene and thia-zole rings ranging from 3.402â (2) to 3.702â (2)â Å.
