RESUMO

The design and development of new large-capacity and selective materials for extracting rare precious metals via electronic waste is practically essential. In this paper, a new efficient UiO-66-NCS has been obtained as a consequence of the modification of the classical Zr-MOF (UiO-66-NH2), and its ability to recover gold has been investigated. These batch results adequately illustrated that UiO-66-NCS exhibited good adsorption capacity (675.5 mg g-1) and exceptional selectivity. In addition, UiO-66-NCS achieved faster adsorption equilibrium times of about 120 min. Adsorption kinetics and isotherms demonstrated that the pseudo-second-order adsorption scheme and a Langmuir-type procedure were shown by the adsorption of Au(III) on UiO-66-NCS. Characterized by pH effect experiments, TEM, XRD, and XPS, the adsorption of UiO-66-NCS with Au(III) relies on coordination, which further results in reduction, and the generated Au(0) is uniformly dispersed in the MOF. The adsorbent has considerable advantages for cyclic regeneration. Finally, DFT fitting results showed that the adsorption binding energy of UiO-66-NCS with [AuCl4]- was -8.63 kcal mol-1 for the adsorption process. UiO-66-NCS is likely to be an ideal substance for gold recovery.

RESUMO

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a malignant tumor originating from epithelial cells of the colon or rectum, and its invasion and metastasis could be regulated by anoikis. However, the key genes and pathways regulating anoikis in CRC are still unclear and require further research. The single cell transcriptome dataset GSE221575 of GEO database was downloaded and applied to cell subpopulation type identification, intercellular communication, pseudo time cell trajectory analysis, and receptor ligand expression analysis of CRC. Meanwhile, the RNA transcriptome dataset of TCGA, the GSE39582, GSE17536, and GSE17537 datasets of GEO were downloaded and merged into one bulk transcriptome dataset. The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) related to anoikis were extracted from these data sets, and key marker genes were obtained after feature selection. A clinical prognosis prediction model was constructed based on the marker genes and the predictive effect was analyzed. Subsequently, gene pathway analysis, immune infiltration analysis, immunosuppressive point analysis, drug sensitivity analysis, and immunotherapy efficacy based on the key marker genes were conducted for the model. In this study, we used single cell datasets to determine the anoikis activity of cells and analyzed the DEGs of cells based on the score to identify the genes involved in anoikis and extracted DEGs related to the disease from the transcriptome dataset. After dimensionality reduction selection, 7 marker genes were obtained, including TIMP1, VEGFA, MYC, MSLN, EPHA2, ABHD2, and CD24. The prognostic risk model scoring system built by these 7 genes, along with patient clinical data (age, tumor stage, grade), were incorporated to create a nomogram, which predicted the 1-, 3-, and 5-years survival of CRC with accuracy of 0.818, 0.821, and 0.824. By using the scoring system, the CRC samples were divided into high/low anoikis-related prognosis risk groups, there are significant differences in immune infiltration, distribution of immune checkpoints, sensitivity to chemotherapy drugs, and efficacy of immunotherapy between these two risk groups. Anoikis genes participate in the differentiation of colorectal cancer tumor cells, promote tumor development, and could predict the prognosis of colorectal cancer.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Hypertension is one of the global public health problems. Family physician-contracted service (FPCS) is widely used in the health management of hypertension patients in China. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of FPCS on hypertension control. METHODS: PubMed, Web of Science, the Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Network, Chinese Scientific and Technological Journal Database (CQVIP), and Wanfang Database were searched for randomized controlled trials related to family physician-contracted service and hypertension control effect, and meta-analysis was performed on the literature meeting the inclusion criteria. The source of heterogeneity was discovered by meta-regression, and it was further investigated by subgroup analysis. The risk difference (RD) and 95% confidence interval (CI) were utilized as effect values. Evaluations of publication bias and sensitivity analysis were also conducted. RESULTS: A total of 46 studies were included, and the pooled RD suggested that FPCS could effectively improve the control rate by 19% (RD = 0.19; 95%CI: 0.16-0.21; P < 0.001; I2 = 59.3%). The average age (ß = 0.28; P = 0.05) and the intervention mode (ß = 0.36; P < 0.001) were found to be heterogeneous sources by the meta-regression. According to subgroup analysis, the hypertension control rates of the elderly and working-age population in the experimental group were 93.6% and 90.1%, respectively; the control rates of the "family physician" mode (FP), "family physician + patient" mode (FPP) and "family physician + patient + family member" mode (FPPF) in the experimental group were 90.1%, 94.4%, and 92.6%, respectively. The sensitivity analysis revealed steady results, with no discernible publication bias. CONCLUSIONS: The FPCS is beneficial to the control of hypertension. The control effect is influenced by average age and intervention mode. The control effect of hypertension in the elderly is better than that in the working-age population, and FPP and FPPF are more beneficial to the management of hypertension than FP. The quality and continuity of FPCS should receive more focus in the future, patient self-management and family support are also essential for managing hypertension.

RESUMO

Introduction: For middle-aged and older people, depression is a frequent and prevalent illness. The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating function of living arrangements in the mediating model as well as the mediating role of life satisfaction in the association between chronic diseases and depressive symptoms. Methods: The China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) provided the data for this investigation (2018). Respondents were grouped according to depression status to compare the differences between middle-aged and older people with different depression statuses. The moderating effect of living arrangements and the mediating effect of life satisfaction were tested using the Bootstrap program and the simple slope approach. Results: The population's total prevalence of depressive symptoms was 30.3%. According to the mediating effect research, middle-aged and older people with chronic diseases experienced substantial direct effects on depressive symptoms (ß = 1.011, p < 0.001). It has been established that life satisfaction has an 18.6% mediation effect between depressive symptoms and chronic diseases. Regarding the further moderating influence, it was discovered that chronic diseases had a more significant impact on the life satisfaction of middle-aged and older people who are in live alone than those who are living with others (ß = 0.037, p < 0.05). Conclusion: In middle-aged and older people, chronic diseases have a major influence on depressive symptoms. Life satisfaction mediated the relationship between chronic diseases and depressive symptoms, and living arrangements moderated the first part of the route in the mediation model. Therefore, life satisfaction and living arrangements should be important considerations to decrease the prevalence of depressive symptoms in middle-aged and older people.

RESUMO

Water extraction method and soil incubation method were used to study the nutrient release characteristics of four slow- and controlled release fertilizers (CRF1, CRF2, SCU, and IBDU), and pot experiment was conducted to assess the effects of the release characteristics on the nutrient requirements of canola (Brassica napus L.). The nutrient release curves of test fertilizers in water were S pattern for CRF1 and CRF2, burst pattern for SCU, and reverse L pattern for IBDU. The nutrient release characteristics of the four fertilizers in water and in soil all fitted binomial equations, suggesting that there existed some similarities in the nutrient release in the two media. The nutrient uptake and biomass of canola plants treated with CRF1 and CRF2 were significantly higher than those treated with SCU and IBDU, and CRF2 had the greatest effect. The nutrient release curves of CRF1 and CRF2 accorded more closely with the nutrient requirements of canola.
