RESUMO

Past swarm intelligence algorithms for solving UAV path planning problems have suffered from slow convergence, lack of complex constraints and guidance for local optimisation. It no longer meets the requirements of the Multi-UAV Cooperative Reconnaissance Mission Planning (MUCRMP) problem in the context of multi-radar detection. In this paper, a global optimisation model with the objective of a shorter distance within radar detection range of the UAV is proposed at first, including the planning of reconnaissance sequence between and within target groups, relative position to targets. More importantly, the imaging characteristics of the UAV and its minimum turning radius have been considered in depth in this study. Then an improved synthetic heuristic algorithm is proposed to solve the model, which obtains valuable reconnaissance mission plan. Finally, an example solution for a problem with 68 target point sizes is carried out, and the validity and feasibility of the model and algorithm are illustrated through the analysis given. Compared with the existing algorithms, the improved synthetic heuristic algorithm can give better anti-radar attributes to the UAV and efficiently improved the convergence speed in the specific reconnaissance mission.

RESUMO

Astilbin, an essential component of Rhizoma smilacis glabrae, exerts significant antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects against various autoimmune diseases. We have previously reported that astilbin decreases proliferation and improves differentiation of HaCaT keratinocytes in a psoriatic model. The present study was designed to evaluate the potential therapeutic effects of topical administration of astilbin on an imiquimod (IMQ)-induced psoriasis-like murine model and to reveal their underlying mechanisms. Topical administration of astilbin at a lower dose alleviated IMQ-induced psoriasis-like skin lesions by inducing the differentiation of epidermal keratinocytes in mice, and the therapeutic effect was even better than that of calcipotriol. Moreover, the inflammatory skin disorder was relieved by astilbin treatment characterized by a reduction in both IL-17-producing T cell accumulation and psoriasis-specific cytokine expression in skin lesions. Furthermore, we found that astilbin inhibited R837-induced maturation and activation of bone marrow-derived dendritic cells and decreased the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines by downregulating myeloid differentiation factor 88. Our findings provide the convincing evidence that lower doses of astilbin might attenuate psoriasis by interfering with the abnormal activation and differentiation of keratinocytes and accumulation of IL-17-producing T cells in skin lesions. Our results strongly support the pre-clinical application of astilbin for psoriasis treatment.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expressions of caspase-8, receptor interacting protein (RIP) and nuclear factor (NF)-kappaBp65 in oral lichen planus (OLP) and their relationship with cell apoptosis. METHODS: Immunohistochemical technique with SP method was used to detect the expressions of caspase-8, RIP and NF-kappaBp65 in 30 OLP cases and 15 normal oral mucosa specimens. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nucleotide shift enzyme (TdT) mediated d-UTP end labeling (TUNEL) was used for detecting the cell apoptotic index (AI) in 15 OLP cases and 5 nomal oral mucosa specimens. RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the AI of epithelial cells (6.76 +/- 2.32) increased and the AI of lymphocytes (1.75 +/- 0.74)decreased in OLP (P < 0.01). The positive rate of caspase-8, RIP and NF-kappaBp65 of epithelial cells were 97% (29/30), 87% (26/30) and 93% (28/30) respectively, significantly higher in OLP than in normal control (P < 0.05). The positive rate of caspase-8, RIP and NF-kappaBp65 of lymphocytes were 100% (30/30, 90% (27/30) and 80% (24/30) respectively, significantly higher in OLP than in normal control (P < 0.01). A positive correlation was also observed between NF-kappaBp65 expression of lymphocytes and AI of epithelial cells. CONCLUSIONS: Accelerated apoptosis of the keratinocytes and inhibition of lymphocyte apoptosis may coexist and contribute to the formation and progression of OLP. The over expression of caspase-8, RIP and NF-kappaBp65 in OLP may play a role in the pathogenesis of OLP.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To detect the expressions of receptor-interacting protein (RIP) and caspase-8 and investigate their roles in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and oral precancerous lesions. METHODS: SABC immunohistochemical methods were used to detect the expressions of RIP and caspase-8 in 22 specimens of OSCC, 14 specimens of oral lichen planus (OLP), 14 specimens of oral leukoplakia (OLK) and 10 specimens of normal oral mucosa (NOM). RESULTS: The rate of weak or negative expression of RIP in normal mucosa was 50% (5/10). The rates of weak and positive expression of RIP in OLP, OLK and OSCC were 75% (36/50), and the rate of positive and strong expression of RIP was 63.7% (14/22) in OSCC, significantly higher that in the others groups (P<0.05). The rates of weak, positive and strong positive expression of caspase-8 in NOM, OLP, OLK and OSCC were 80% (8/10), 100% (14/14), 85.7% (12/14), and 100% (22/22), respectively. CONCLUSION: Both RIP and caspase-8 may play important roles in the occurrence and progression of OSCC and oral precancerous lesions.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical effects and explore the mechanism of the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in treating atopic dermatitis (AD). METHODS: Forty-seven patients with AD were randomly assigned to two groups, the control group and the treated group, they were treated with conventional Western medicine (10 mg Loratadine tablet, once daily) and with integrated medicine additionally given modified Jiawei Danggui Decection besides Western medicine respectively for 4 weeks. Double-sandwich ELISA was used to detect the levels of interleukin- 4, -10 and -12 (IL-4, IL-10 and IL-12) before and after treatment. RESULTS: The total effective rate in the treated group was 56% (14/25 cases), better than that in the control group (22.7%, 5/22 cases), showing significant difference between the two groups (X2 = 5.38, P < 0.05). Before treatment the serum levels of IL-4, IL-10 were significantly higher and level of IL-12 was lower in AD patients as compared with those in healthy persons (P < 0.01); they all restored to normal in the treated group after treatment but unchanged in the control group, showing significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: The clinical effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine is ascertainable, its mechanism might be associated with the regulation on related cytokines.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of Huangqi Fuzheng Decoction (HQFZD) in treating recurrent genital herpes (RGH) and its influence on related cytokines in peripheral blood. METHODS: Eighty-four patients with RGH were randomly assigned to 3 groups, the treated group treated with HQFZD (31 cases), the control group A (25 cases) treated with Aciclovir, and the control group B (28 cases) treated with Aciclovir plus interferon. The course of treatment was 3 weeks for all. The relapse rate was estimated at 6 months after treatment, and levels of IL-4, IL-10, IL-12 and IL-18 in all patients were detected before and after treatment using double-sandwich ELISA. RESULTS: All patients were cured after treatment. The relapse rate in the treated group and the control group B was lower than that in the control group A (P < 0.01) but insignificant difference was shown between the former two groups. Before treatment, patients' serum levels of IL-4 and IL-10 were significantly higher while those of IL-12 and IL-18 were lower than the normal range (P < 0.01). The abnormal change aforementioned reversed after treatment in the treated group and the control group B (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), showing a superior effect to that in the control group A (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: HQFZD can reduce the relapse rate of RGH without obvious adverse reaction, and it could also enhance the immunity of the patients.
