RESUMO
New bioaffine sorbents containing bioselective ligand, synthetic analog of the human thyroperoxidase antigenic determinant--tetrapeptide H-Glu-Gln-betaAla-Lys-OMe, immobilized on two polymeric matrixes--a polyacrylamide gel and CNBr-activated sepharose 4B were synthesized. The offered immunosorbents were shown have high selectivity in relation to autoantibodies against thyroperoxidase and can find an application for medicine and experimental biochemistry for selective elimination of autoantibodies from serum or plasma of the patients suffering from autoimmune thyroid diseases.

The qualitative and quantitative composition of the microflora of the large intestine has been studied in 31 healthy adults and in 137 patients with acute viral hepatitides A and B. A set of quantitative tests ensuring the complete characterization of the microbiocenosis under study has been proposed. The results obtained in this investigation have been processed by means of a computer with the use of the principles of numeric taxonomy, thus making it possible to obtain the objective criterion of the state of the microflora of the large intestine, expressed by the similarity index.

The data obtained in the bacteriological study of fecal microflora in 27 patients with hepatitis A and 44 patients with hepatitis B in the dynamics of the disease are presented. The study has established the presence of essential changes in the composition of intestinal bacterial flora in viral hepatitis patients, especially in cases of hepatitis B, due to the suppression of the growth of normal symbionts, mainly anaerobes, and to the multiplication of opportunistic ones.
