RESUMO
In 30 patients with myasthenia the authors studied the dynamic of changes of subfraction content of the blood serum using the method of laser correlation spectroscopy. Significant changes of the blood serum homeostasis have been revealed in the process of hemosorption. The obtained results make it possible to develop objective criteria for indications to hemosorption as well as for the assessment of the efficacy of therapy.

A conception, some principles of determination and limits of maximum concentration limit (MCL) of chemical compounds in environment are considered. The experimental results confirming the threshold character of pollution influence upon plants and animals are discussed. It is shown that the MCL conception has a scanty applicability and doesn't defend the man from environmental pollutions. A conclusion about the necessity of alternative approaches to the determination of limiting load on ecosystems is made.

To corroborate the direct influence of hypothalamic nanopeptides on the peripheral endocrine glands (the phylogenetically ancient paraadenohypophyseal pathway of regulation) under a prolonged stress as hypothesized by Polenov, sexually mature male and female sterlets, intact and hypophysectomized 4 months previously were placed into 6% NaCl solution for 10 days. An activation of the interrenal tissue occurred both in intact and hypophysectomized fish as evidenced by increased nuclear volume of the glandular cells, obvious vacuolization of their cytoplasm, appearance of mitoses and hyperemia of the interrenal tissue. These data seem to corroborate Polenov's hypothesis and confirm Orbeli's concept of phylogenetically more ancient mechanisms coming forth under pathological conditions.
