RESUMO

Morphofunctional characteristics of capillary blood flow can be considered one of the most sensitive markers of ontogenetic desadaptive changes both within a local area of the capillary network and in the entire cardiovascular system. The study involved two hundred seventy-seven male northerners aged 18-66 to identify the age dynamics of the capillary bed morphofunctional characteristics. Subjects exhibited a reduction in diameters of arterial and transitional sections of the microcapillary bed testifying to a significant age dynamics from young men to the elderly. The remodeling coefficient increasingly came up in workable and elderly men, which indicated the risk of reducing in effectiveness of substances diffusion. We could see the average capillary length increase in this age vector and considered that as a compensatory growth of the contact surface of the vessel aimed at maintaining the necessary level of transcapillary exchange. We clearly observed microcirculatory changes with subjective age and considered them to be adaptive changes of microangioarchitectonics which may indicate the formation of a pattern characteristic of northerners' ontogenetic readjustments.

RESUMO

For the first time, the research work offers a method of estimating human biological age based on the spectral analysis of the brain bioelectric activity. IDC decentralization index, which could consider summary degree of reduction of the background neurotrophic influences of the brain activating system on the peripheral tissues and organs, was developed. The close to linear dependence of the IDC index on the age of healthy people aged 10-90 as well as on the oncological patients' cancer G1-G4 cells differentiation was obtained. The cell disorders and mutations in relation with the age from 10 to 90 could be seen in growth of the IDC index from 100 to 900 units. The greater amount of the cell mutations in the oncological patients with the G1-G4 differentiation resulted in the IDC index growth up to the 3 000 units and more. All the obtained data allowed estimating the real biological age after a 10-minute registration of the human brain bioelectric activity. The accuracy increased with the averaging several surveys taken from one particular person. The technology will be highly efficient for scientific researches in the field of gerontology, monitoring of healthy people, revealing of risk groups, and for controlling of the cancer patients' medical treatment.

RESUMO

In conjunction with the MARS-500, a monthly monitoring of several morphofunctional parameters was performed in 19 Caucasoid volunteers born in the Magadan region over the period of 18 months. The standard procedures were used for somatometric examination and evaluation of the respiratory and cardiovascular functions. The greatest straining of these body systems was stated in wintertime. However, during summer both systolic and diastolic pressure was also high when compared with people living in the center and north of European Russia, which may infer a significant effect of seasonal variations in the Magadan environment and climate on human organism throughout the year.

RESUMO

Residents of the Extreme North, in total 255 males and 72 females were examined to study morpho-fuctional changes occurring in dependence on the area of residence. It was found that the subjects who recide in the towns of Magadan and Susuman demonstrated adaptive changes in somatometric parameters as well as in functioning of the body cardio-respiratory and gas-transporting systems that can be considered as a compensatory response providing the body energy balance and homeostasis maintenance at the level the unfavourable environmental factors.

RESUMO

3-Fluorotyrosine fluorescence is quenched effectively by phosphate ions not only by a dynamic but also by a static mechanism owing to H-bond complex formation in ground state. 3-Fluorotyrosine pKa values both in the ground and first excited state (8.3 and 4, respectively) are appreciably lower than those of tyrosine, thus promoting 3-fluorotyrosinate ion formation in the excited state. Additional emission owing to 3-fluorotyrosinate ion (near 350 nm) may be taken erroneously for tryptophan fluorescence.
