A talent for sprinting--how can it be discovered and developed.

This paper presents a survey of research studies conducted on the talent for sprinting. The studies are analyzed from several aspects: identification of talents, the time of the commencement of selection, selection phases, factors of success and the reasons for dropping out of sprint training sessions.
