RESUMO

The complexity of flying work and human factor significance increase the responsibility of aviation physician for health and high working capacity of the flying staff. The early diagnosis of potentially dangerous urological pathology is of particular importance because the renal and urinary tract diseases are revealed unexpectedly among the flying staff. The incidence of surgical pathology including the urologic one takes the third place in the RF Armed Forces. That's why the main directions to improve the urologic care in the Armed Forces medical service are the optimization of urologists' numerical staff, the development of new organizing-and-staff structure and the number of specialized urologic departments (centers, rooms, and wards) on the basis of central, district and garrison hospitals, the increase in urologists' professional training quality, the improvement of treatment-and-prophylactic work. It is necessary to conduct the quarterly, half-yearly and yearly analysis of urological diseases, connected with flying incidents.

RESUMO

The studies carried during ships navigation covered some intrinsic factors (levels of noise, vibration, microclimate, air components, concentration of polymers, electrostatic fields, and others) of the ship and such extrinsic environmental factors as climate of the navigation area, temperature, ambient air moisture, wind force and direction. The studies proved strong correlation between hygienic parameters in the ship and its type and destination, length of service, climate of the navigation area, that is assumed to be a criteria for evaluation of work conditions at the ship.

RESUMO

The animals were overheated in thermal chamber for the period of 4 hours at 37 degrees C. Though the water intake was not limited, the rats developed the state of dehydration accompanied by weight loss, redistribution of water and electrolytes in tissues and decrease of circulation plasma volume. Intragastric probe water administration in the quantity equal to the weight loss led to partial rehabilitation of the initial indexes, however full rehabilitation of water-electrolyte balance was observed while administering hypotonic salt solution. The conclusion is made that in case of water rehydration a disorder of water-salt exchange of kidney mechanisms regulation is observed and it is advisable to use hypotonic salt solutions to achieve quick rehydration effect.

RESUMO

The influence of scientific and technological progress on the work and life of man in the world ocean is analysed. The main results of investigations and practical solutions are described in details. The drawbacks in the research of some aspects of the problem are shown and the objects of further investigations are outlined.

RESUMO

Results of test stands and of field studies (on marine ships) have shown, that the use of installations for water preparation (IWP), including mineralizers of the wash out type and ozonizers, makes it possible to get water of stable quality independent of the terms of operations of the installations, and also provides the possibility of conditioning of shore water supply and of carrying out disinfection of the ship water supply system. Comparative analysis of the operation of various kinds of IWP on marine ships testifies to the necessity of development of the new types of IWP, which will promote health preservation of crew members having difficult long independent voyages.

RESUMO

Treatment of multicomponent composition ship waste waters by an aluminum-containing waste is substantiated from the hygienic point of view both in laboratory and field studies. The tested principle of treatment provides deep purification of liquid wastes according to the following indicators; particulate matter--95.3%; BCO5--90.0%; oil products--99.5%; cadmium--70.3%; iron--30.0%; phenol--48.1%; SSAS--37.5%. The effectiveness of coagulation of the combined sewage independent of quantitative ratios of bilgeway and waste waters has been confirmed with the help of regression-correlative analysis, which alongside the use of aluminum oxychlorides at the functioning installations of sewage purification and disinfection testify to the possibility of forming of principally new and effective samples of compact ship water protective equipment.
