RESUMO

Titanium-oxo cluster (TOC)-based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have received considerable attention in recent years due to their ability to expand the application of TOCs to fields that require highly stable frameworks. Herein, a new cyclic TOC formulated as [Ti6O6(OiPr)8(TTFTC)(phen)2]2 (1, where TTFTC = tetrathiafulvalene tetracarboxylate and phen = phenanthroline) was crystallographically characterized. TOC 1 takes a rectangular ring structure with two phen-modified Ti6 clusters as the width and two TTFTC ligands as the length. An intracluster ligand-to-ligand (TTF-to-phen) charge transfer in 1 was found for TOCs for the first time. Compound 1 undergoes topotactic conversion to generate stable TOC-MOF P1, in which the rectangular framework in 1 formed by a TOC core and ligands is retained, as verified by comprehensive characterization. P1 shows an efficient and rapid selective adsorption capacity for cationic dyes. The experimental adsorption capacity (qex) of P1 reaches a value of up to 789.2 mg/g at 298 K for the crystal violet dye, which is the highest among those of various adsorbents. The calculated models are first used to reveal the structure-property relationship of the cyclic host to different guest dyes. The results further confirmed the host MOF structure of P1.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has drawn attention from all sectors of society to the level of public health services. This study aims to investigate the level of public health service supply in the four major regions of Guangdong Province, providing a basis for optimizing health resource allocation. METHODS: This article uses the entropy method and panel data of 21 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province from 2005 to 2021 to construct the evaluation index system of public health service supply and calculate its supply index. On this basis, the standard deviation ellipse method, kernel density estimation, and Markov chain are used to analyze the spatiotemporal evolution trend of the public health service supply level in Guangdong Province. The Dagum Gini coefficient and panel regression model are further used to analyze the relative differences and the key influencing factors of difference formation. Finally, the threshold effect model is used to explore the action mechanism of the key factors. RESULTS: Overall, the level of public health service supply in Guangdong Province is on an upward trend. Among them, polarization and gradient effects are observed in the Pearl River Delta and Eastern Guangdong regions; the balance of public health service supply in Western Guangdong and Northern Mountainous areas has improved. During the observation period, the level of public health services in Guangdong Province shifted towards a higher level with a smaller probability of leapfrogging transition, and regions with a high level of supply demonstrated a positive spillover effect. The overall difference, intra-regional difference and inter-regional difference in the level of public health service supply in Guangdong Province during the observation period showed different evolutionary trends, and spatial differences still exist. These differences are more significantly positively affected by factors such as the level of regional economic development, the degree of fiscal decentralization, and the urbanization rate. Under different economic development threshold values, the degree of fiscal decentralization and urbanization rate both have a double threshold effect on the role of public health service supply level. CONCLUSION: The overall level of public health service supply in Guangdong Province has improved, but spatial differences still exist. Key factors influencing these differences include the level of regional economic development, the degree of fiscal decentralization, and the urbanization rate, all of which exhibit threshold effects. It is suggested that, in view of the actual situation of each region, efforts should be made to build and maintain their own advantages, enhance the spatial linkage of public health service supply, and consider the threshold effects of key factors in order to optimize the allocation of health resources.

RESUMO

Human cancers induce a chaotic, dysfunctional vasculature that promotes tumor growth and blunts most current therapies; however, the mechanisms underlying the induction of a dysfunctional vasculature have been unclear. Here, we show that split end (SPEN), a transcription repressor, coordinates rRNA synthesis in endothelial cells (ECs) and is required for physiological and tumor angiogenesis. SPEN deficiency attenuated EC proliferation and blunted retinal angiogenesis, which was attributed to p53 activation. Furthermore, SPEN knockdown activated p53 by upregulating noncoding promoter RNA (pRNA), which represses rRNA transcription and triggers p53-mediated nucleolar stress. In human cancer biopsies, a low endothelial SPEN level correlated with extended overall survival. In mice, endothelial SPEN deficiency compromised rRNA expression and repressed tumor growth and metastasis by normalizing tumor vessels, and this was abrogated by p53 haploinsufficiency. rRNA gene transcription is driven by RNA polymerase I (RNPI). We found that CX-5461, an RNPI inhibitor, recapitulated the effect of Spen ablation on tumor vessel normalization and combining CX-5461 with cisplatin substantially improved the efficacy of treating tumors in mice. Together, these results demonstrate that SPEN is required for angiogenesis by repressing pRNA to enable rRNA gene transcription and ribosomal biogenesis and that RNPI represents a target for tumor vessel normalization therapy of cancer.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The digital economy based on the internet and IT is developing rapidly in China, which makes a profound impact on urban environmental quality and residents' health activities. Thus, this study introduces environmental pollution as a mediating variable based on Grossman's health production function to explore the impact of digital economic development on the health of the population and its influence path. METHODS: Based on the panel data of 279 prefecture-level cities in China from 2011 to 2017, this paper investigates the acting mechanism of digital economic development on residents' health by employing a combination of mediating effects model and spatial Durbin model. RESULTS: The development of digital economy makes direct improvement on residents' health condition, which is also obtained indirectly by means of environmental pollution mitigation. Besides, from the perspective of spatial spillover effect, the development of digital economy also has a significant promoting effect on the health of adjacent urban residents, and further analysis reveals that the promoting effect in the central and western regions of China is more pronounced than that in the eastern region. CONCLUSIONS: Digital economy can have a direct promoting effect on the health of residents, and environmental pollution has an intermediary effect between digital economy and residents' health; At the same time, there is also a regional heterogeneity among the three relationships. Therefore, this paper believes that the government should continue to formulate and implement scientific digital economy development policies at the macro and micro levels to narrow the regional digital divide, improve environmental quality and enhance the health level of residents.

RESUMO

Fused furans are commonly found units in natural products and medicinal molecules, and methods for their introduction are of fundamental importance. Here we report one-pot cycloadditions of ethynyl indoloxazolidones with 1,3-cyclohexanediones enabled by copper catalysis, leading to a series of functionalized furan derivatives in good yields. This method features mild reaction conditions, high efficiency, and wide substrate scope.

RESUMO

Lobelia species, as rich source of the alkaloid lobeline which has been shown to have important biological activity, have been used in folk medicine throughout East Asia to treat various diseases. However, Lobelia is a complex and varied genus in East Asia and is thus difficult to identify. Genomic resources would aid identification, however the availability of such information is poor, preventing a clear understanding of their evolutionary history from being established. To close this gap in the available genomic data, in this study, 17 plastomes of East Asian lobelias were newly sequenced and assembled. Although the plastomes of Lobelia sect. Hypsela, L. sect. Speirema, and L. sect. Rhynchopetalum shared the gene structure, the inverted repeat (IR)/large single copy (LSC) boundaries, genome size, and the number of repeats were variable, indicating the non-conservative nature of plastome evolution within these sections. However, the genomes of the Lobelia sect. Delostemon and L. sect. Stenotium showed rearrangements, revealing that these two sections might have undergone different evolutionary histories. We assessed nine hotspot genes and 27-51 simple sequence repeat motifs, which will also serve as valuable DNA barcode regions in future population genetics studies and for the delineation of plant species. Our phylogenetic analysis resolved the evolutionary positions of the five sections in agreement with previous evolutionary trees based on morphological features. Although phylogenetic reconstruction of Lobelioideae based on the rpoC2 gene has rarely been performed, our results indicated that it contains a considerable amount of phylogenetic information and offers great promise for further phylogenetic analysis of Lobelioideae. Our site-specific model identified 173 sites under highly positive selections. The branch-site model exhibited 11 positive selection sites involving four genes in the East Asian branches. These four genes may play critical roles in the adaptation of East Asian taxa to diverse environments. Our study is the first to detect plastome organization, phylogenetic utility, and signatures of positive selection in the plastomes of East Asian lobelias, which will help to further advance taxonomic and evolutionary studies and the utilization of medicinal plant resources.

RESUMO

Pteris laeta Wall., as a traditional tea, is popular in Southwest China, but its role in preventing cognitive impairment is unclear. In this study, Pteris laeta Wall. extracts (PW) and its active compounds were evaluated for preventive effects on Alzheimer's disease (AD) in vivo and in vitro. The results showed that PW diminished oxidative stress damage and apoptosis of Aß-induced HT22 cells and also rescued cognitive deficits, and ameliorated pathological injury and inflammatory response in APP/PS1 mice. Besides, a new pterosin sesquiterpene, named pterosinsade A (PA), and nine known compounds were discovered from the EtOAc extract that possessed the best neuroprotective activity. PA reduced apoptosis of APP-overexpressing neural stem cells and promoted their proliferation and neuronal differentiation. Meanwhile, PW and PA promoted hippocampal neurogenesis, which proved to be associated with activating the Wnt signaling pathway. These findings suggest that PW and PA are candidates for AD prevention.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Adalimumab (ADA) and infliximab (IFX) are the cornerstones of the treatment of Crohn's disease (CD). It remains controversial whether there is a difference in the effectiveness and safety between IFX and ADA for CD. AIM: To perform a meta-analysis to compare the effectiveness and safety of ADA and IFX in CD. METHODS: PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases were searched. Cohort studies were considered for inclusion. The primary outcomes were induction of response and remission, maintenance of response and remission, and secondary loss of response. Adverse events were secondary outcomes. RESULTS: Fourteen cohort studies were included. There was no apparent difference between the two agents in the induction response [odds ratio (OR): 1.27, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.93-1.74, P = 0.14] and remission (OR: 1.11, 95%CI: 0.78-1.57, P = 0.57), maintenance response (OR: 1.08, 95%CI: 0.76-1.53, P = 0.67) and remission (OR: 1.26, 95%CI: 0.87-1.82, P = 0.22), and secondary loss of response (OR: 1.01, 95%CI: 0.65-1.55, P = 0.97). Subgroup analysis revealed ADA and IFX had similar rates of response, remission, and loss of response either in anti-tumor necrosis factor-α naïve or non-naïve patients. Further, there was a similar result regardless of whether CD patients were treated with optimized therapy, including dose intensification, shortening interval, and combination immunomodulators. However, ADA had a fewer overall adverse events than IFX (OR: 0.62, 95%CI: 0.42-0.91, P = 0.02). CONCLUSION: ADA and IFX have similar clinical benefits for anti-tumor necrosis factor-α naïve or non-naïve CD patients. Overall adverse events rate is higher in patients in the IFX group.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: With the accelerated global integration and the impact of climatic, ecological and social environmental changes, China will continue to face the challenge of the outbreak and spread of emerging infectious diseases and traditional ones. This study aims to explore the spatial and temporal evolutionary characteristics of the incidence of Class B notifiable infectious diseases in China from 2007 to 2020, and to forecast the trend of it as well. Hopefully, it will provide a reference for the formulation of infectious disease prevention and control strategies. METHODS: Data on the incidence rates of Class B notifiable infectious diseases in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions of China from 2007 to 2020 were collected for the prediction of the spatio-temporal evolution and spatial correlation as well as the incidence of Class B notifiable infectious diseases in China based on global spatial autocorrelation and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). RESULTS: From 2007 to 2020, the national incidence rate of Class B notifiable infectious diseases (from 272.37 per 100,000 in 2007 to 190.35 per 100,000 in 2020) decreases year by year, and the spatial distribution shows an "east-central-west" stepwise increase. From 2007 to 2020, the spatial clustering of the incidence of Class B notifiable infectious diseases is significant and increasing year by year (Moran's I index values range from 0.189 to 0.332, p < 0.05). The forecasted incidence rates of Class B notifiable infectious diseases nationwide from 2021 to 2024 (205.26/100,000, 199.95/100,000, 194.74/100,000 and 189.62/100,000) as well as the forecasted values for most regions show a downward trend, with only some regions (Guangdong, Hunan, Hainan, Tibet, Guangxi and Guizhou) showing an increasing trend year by year. CONCLUSIONS: The current study found that since there were significant regional disparities in the prevention and control of infectious diseases in China between 2007 and 2020, the reduction of the incidence of Class B notifiable infectious diseases requires the joint efforts of the surrounding provinces. Besides, special attention should be paid to provinces with an increasing trend in the incidence of Class B notifiable infectious diseases to prevent the re-emergence of certain traditional infectious diseases in a particular province or even the whole country, as well as the outbreak and spread of emerging infectious diseases.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: In this research, the factors that influence the self-precautionary behavior during the pandemic are explored with the combination of social support and a risk perception attitude framework. METHODS: An online survey was conducted among 429 members to collect information on demographic data, social support, perceptions of outbreak risk, health self-efficacy, and self-precautionary behaviors with the guide of the Social Support Scale, the COVID-19 Risk Perception Scale, the Health Self-Efficacy Scale and the Self-precautionary Behavior Scale. RESULTS: The research shows that among the three dimensions of social support, both objective support and support utilization negatively predict risk perception, while subjective support positively predicts health self-efficacy; health self-efficacy and risk perception significantly predict self-precautionary behavior; the relationship between risk perception and self-precautionary behavior is significantly moderated by health self-efficacy. CONCLUSIONS: The combined influence of social capital and risk perception attitudinal frameworks on self-precautionary behavior is highlighted in this study, with the relationship between the public's risk perception, health self-efficacy, and self-precautionary behavior intentions examined against the background of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). These findings contribute to understanding the impact of social capital factors on risk perception and health self-efficacy, which provides insight into the current status and influencing factors of the public's precautionary behavior and facilitates early intervention during a pandemic.

RESUMO

The forest tree family Aceraceae is widespread in the northern hemisphere and it has ecological and economic importance. However, the phylogenetic relationships and classifications within the family are still controversial due to transitional intraspecific morphological characteristics and introgression hybridization among species. In this study, we determined the evolutionary relationships and molecular evolution of Aceraceae based on plastid phylogenomics and two nuclear gene variations. Phylogenetic analysis based on the plastid genomes suggested that Aceraceae species can be divided into two larger sub-clades corresponding to the two genera Acer and Dipteronia. Conjoint analysis of the plastid and nuclear gene sequences supported the classification with two genera in the family. Molecular dating showed that the two genera diverged 60.2 million years ago, which is generally consistently with previously reported results. Divergence hotspots and positively selected genes identified in the plastid genomes could be useful genetic resources in Aceraceae.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Gasdermins (GSDMs) are a class of proteins related to pyrolysis and in humans, consist of GSDMA, GSDMB, GSDMC, GSDMD, DFNA5, and DFNB59. The inflammatory factors and cell contents released during pyrolysis can recruit immune cells and change the microenvironment. However, to date, there is a paucity of studies examining the relationship between GSDMs and the immune microenvironment in tumors. Therefore, this current report analyzed the expression of GSDM genes in tumors and their relationship with the immune microenvironment. METHODS: Apply GSCALite and GEPIA2 online analysis tools to analyze the gene expression levels and the Single nucleotide variant (SNV), copy number variation (CNV), and methylation characteristics of GSDM genes respectively. Use R software or TISIDB online analysis tool to carry out the correlation analysis required in the article. Furthermore, Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analyses were conducted to examine the role of these GSDM genes in various cancers. RESULTS: The results demonstrated that CNV can cause an increase in GSDM gene expression, and methylation can inhibit GSDM gene expression. The elevated expression of GSDMA, GSDMB, GSDMC, GSDMD, and DFNA5 in some or most tumors was often accompanied by elevated immune scores, increased immune cell infiltration, and high expression of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules, chemokines and their receptors, and immune checkpoint-related genes. However, DFNB59 was often negatively correlated with these indicators in tumors. GSDMD was the most highly expressed GSDM protein in various normal tissues and tumors, and showed the strongest correlation with immune microenvironment-related genes. Moreover, the methylation of GSDMD was accompanied by low immune cell infiltration, low expression of MHC molecule-related genes, low expression of chemokines and receptor-related genes, and low expression of immune checkpoint-related genes. CONCLUSIONS: Therefore, the expression of GSDM-related genes is associated with the tumor immune microenvironment. The GSDM genes, especially GSDMD, may be used as therapeutic targets to predict or change the tumor microenvironment and as biomarkers to predict the therapeutic efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors.

RESUMO

Debregeasia is an economically important genus of the nettle family (Urticaceae). Previous systematic studies based on morphology, or using up to four plastome regions, have not satisfactorily resolved relationships within the genus. Here, we report 25 new plastomes for Urticaceae, including 12 plastomes from five Debregeasia species and 13 plastomes from other genera. Together with the one published plastome for Debregeasia, we analyzed plastome structure and character, identified mutation hotspots and loci under selection, and constructed phylogenies. The plastomes of Debregeasia were found to be very conservative, with a size from 155,743 bp to 156,065 bp, and no structural variation. Eleven mutation hotspots were identified, including three (rpoB-trnC-GCA, trnT-GGU-psbD and ycf1) that are highly variable both within Debregeasia and among genera; these show high potential value for future DNA barcoding, population genetics and phylogenetic reconstruction. Selection pressure analysis revealed nine genes (clpP, ndhF, petB, psbA, psbK, rbcL, rpl23, ycf2, and ycf1) that may experience positive selection. Phylogenomic analyses results suggest that Debregeasia was monophyletic, and closest to Boehmeria among genera examined. Within Debregeasia, D. longifolia was sister to D. saeneb, whereas D. elliptica, D. orientalis with D. squamata formed the other subclade. This study enriches organelle genome resources for Urticaceae, and highlights the utility of plastome data for detecting mutation hotspots for evolutionary and systematic analysis.

RESUMO

The conflicts exist between the phylogeny of Campanulaceae based on nuclear ITS sequence and plastid markers, particularly in the subdivision of Cyanantheae (Campanulaceae). Besides, various and complicated plastid genome structures can be found in species of the Campanulaceae. However, limited availability of genomic information largely hinders the studies of molecular evolution and phylogeny of Campanulaceae. We reported the complete plastid genomes of three Cyanantheae species, compared them to eight published Campanulaceae plastomes, and shed light on a deeper understanding of the applicability of plastomes. We found that there were obvious differences among gene order, GC content, gene compositions and IR junctions of LSC/IRa. Almost all protein-coding genes and amino acid sequences showed obvious codon preferences. We identified 14 genes with highly positively selected sites and branch-site model displayed 96 sites under potentially positive selection on the three lineages of phylogenetic tree. Phylogenetic analyses showed that Cyananthus was more closely related to Codonopsis compared with Cyclocodon and also clearly illustrated the relationship among the Cyanantheae species. We also found six coding regions having high nucleotide divergence value. Hotpot regions were considered to be useful molecular markers for resolving phylogenetic relationships and species authentication of Campanulaceae.

RESUMO

Light influenced by the turbulent ocean can be fully characterized with the help of the power spectrum of the water's refractive index fluctuations, resulting from the combined effect of two scalars, temperature and salinity concentration advected by the velocity field. The Nikishovs' model [ Fluid Mech. Res.27, 8298 (2000)] frequently used in the analysis of light evolution through the turbulent ocean channels is the linear combination of the temperature spectrum, the salinity spectrum and their co-spectrum, each being described by an approximate expression developed by Hill [ J. Fluid Mech.88, 541562 (1978)] in the first of his four suggested models. The fourth of the Hill's models provides much more precise power spectrum than the first one expressed via a non-linear differential equation that does not have a closed-form solution. We develop an accurate analytic approximation to the fourth Hill's model valid for Prandtl/Schmidt numbers in the interval [3, 3000] and use it for the development of a more precise oceanic power spectrum. To illustrate the advantage of our model, we include numerical examples relating to the spherical wave scintillation index evolving in the underwater turbulent channels with different average temperatures, and, hence, different Prandtl numbers for temperature and different Schmidt numbers for salinity. Since our model is valid for a large range of Prandtl number (or/and Schmidt number), it can be readily adjusted to oceanic waters with seasonal or extreme average temperature and/or salinity or any other turbulent fluid with one or several advected quantities.

RESUMO

Acute diarrhea is an important public health issue. Here, we focused on the differences of enteropathogens in acute diarrhea between urban and rural areas in southeast China. Laboratory- and sentinel-based surveillance of acute diarrhea (≥ 3 loose or liquid stools/24 hours) was conducted at 16 hospitals. Fecal specimens were tested for bacterial (Aeromonas sp., Campylobacter sp., diarrheagenic Escherichia coli, Plesiomonas shigelloides, non-typhoidal Salmonella, Shigella sp., Vibrio sp., and Yersinia sp.) and viral (adenovirus, astrovirus, Norovirus, Rotavirus, and Sapovirus) pathogens. Descriptive statistics were used. Between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2014, 4,548 outpatients with acute diarrhea were enrolled (urban, n = 3,220; rural, n = 1,328). Pathogens were identified in 2,074 (45.6%) patients. Norovirus (25.7%), Vibrio parahaemolyticus (10.2%), enteroaggregative Escherichia coli (EAEC) (8.8%), group A Rotavirus (7.0%), and enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) (5.6%) were the most common pathogens. Enteropathogens were less common in urban than in rural areas (42.0% versus 54.4%, P < 0.001). In urban areas, EAEC and ETEC were more common in high-income than in middle-income regions. Interventions targeting the most common enteropathogens can substantially reduce the burden of acute diarrhea in southeast China.

RESUMO

A novel Lewis base-catalyzed [4 + 3] annulation process for the construction of benzo[ b]oxepine scaffolds has been developed. 1,4-Diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) promotes the union of o-QMs and Morita-Baylis-Hillman carbonates in reasonable to excellent yields and good stereoselectivities (dr > 20:1). This straightforward, catalytic approach offers access to a variety of synthetically useful benzo[ b]oxepine derivatives bearing oxindole scaffolds containing all-carbon spiro-quaternary stereocenters.

RESUMO

The super antibiotic resistance genes (SARGs) demonstrate more severe threats than other antibiotic resistance genes while have not received enough attention in the environment. The study explored the prevalence and the antibiotic tolerance profiles of two typical SARGs, MCR-1 and NDM-1, and their hosting bacteria in the downstream of the Yangtze River and the nearby wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and drinking water treatment plant (DWTP). Results indicated that MCR-1 and NDM-1 were prevalent in the influent and biological units of the WWTP. Their hosting bacteria were effectively removed, but 2.49 × 108 copies/L MCR-1 and 7.00 × 106 copies/L NDM-1 were still persistent in the effluent. In the Yangtze River, MCR-1 and NDM-1 were detected with higher abundance and antibiotic tolerance than the WWTP effluent and were significantly affected by nearby water contamination and human activities. In the DWTP, MCR-1 and NDM-1 were detected with average values 5.56 × 107 copies/L and 2.14 × 105 copies/L in the influent. Their hosting bacteria were undetectable in the effluent, but the two SARGs were still persistent with 1.39 × 107 copies/L and 6.29 × 104 copies/L, and were greatly enriched in the sludge. Molecular ecological networks demonstrated wide hosting relationships between MCR-1/NDM-1 and bacteria community in the DWTP. Redundancy analysis found that MCR-1 positively correlated with COD and NH3-N, while negatively correlated with turbidity. Additionally, MCR-1 hosting bacteria positively correlated with NO3--N and negatively correlated with COD and NH3-N. NDM-1 positively correlated with turbidity and NDM-1 hosting bacteria positively correlated with COD and NO2--N. The study demonstrated that the WWTP could not effectively remove SARGs with high amount of them being discharged into the Yangtze River. Then they were transported into the DWTP and the persistent SARGs in the effluent would probably be transferred into human, thus imposing great threats on public health.

RESUMO

The calculation of non-point source (NPS) pollutant loads of nitrogen and phosphorus is the key step in preparing a pollution control plan. This study modified the export coefficient model by taking into account the precipitation, slope, distance between pollution sources and water bodies, and other relevant factors. The NPS pollution load assessment method established in this study can be applied to data-scarce basins and is suitable for plateau lake regions affected by terrain and precipitation. In this study, Chenghai Lake, which belongs to one of the nine major plateau lakes in Yunnan Province, is selected for the case study. This study first verifies the rationality of the improved export coefficient model based on actual observed values, and then utilizes the improved export coefficient model to assess the loads of dissolved nitrogen (DN) and dissolved phosphorus (DP) pollution. As indicated by the results, in 2014, the loads of DN and DP into Chenghai Lake are 158.48 t·a-1 and 24.70 t·a-1, respectively. The maximum contributions of DN and DP pollution load into Chenghai Lake are from agricultural cultivated land are 46.19% and 48.16%, respectively, in terms of land use. The results present a relatively consistent spatial distribution of DN and DP that indicates that the south bank is a key area for governance. Livestock and rural living are the main pollution sources influencing the load of DN and DP into Chenghai Lake and should be prioritized for control. If the pollution from rural living, livestock, fertilizer loss, and land use can be effectively controlled, the load of DN and DP into Chenghai Lake will be decreased by a maximum of 38.47% and 40.76%, respectively. The results of this study suggest that the improved export coefficient model can be applied for study of the NPS pollution assessment of plateau lake regions and can provide a theoretical basis for the NPS pollution control of the Chenghai Lake basin.
