RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The study aimed to find predictive biomarkers to evaluate donor kidney function to predict graft dysfunction as well as to assess an early signs of acute graft rejection. METHOD: Twenty-seven deceased donors and 54 recipients who underwent a successful kidney transplantation were enrolled in the study. An assessment was made in serum and urine from donors and recipients to measure the following biomarkers: neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), kidney injury molecule-1 (KIM-1), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 2 (TIMP-2) and urinary N-acetyl-b-D-glucosaminidase (uNAG). These biomarkers were used to establish a model for predicting a reduced graft function (RGF) classified as either a delayed or slow graft function. RESULT: Our analysis suggest that out of four tested biomarkers, the serum TIMP-2 and uNAG levels of the donors had a predictive value for RGF; the area under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUROC) of serum TIMP-2 and uNAG were 0.714 and 0.779, respectively. The combined best fitting prediction model of serum TIMP-2, uNAG, and creatinine levels was better in predicting RGF than the serum creatinine level alone. In addition, the recipient serum TIMP-2 level on the third day post-transplantation (D3) was associated with the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) on the seventh day post-transplantation (D7; OR 1.119, 95% CI 1.016-1.233, p = 0.022). Furthermore, the ROC curve value revealed that the AUROC of TIMP-2 on D3 was 0.99 (95% CI 0.97-1, p < 0.001), and this was the best predictive value of the renal function on D7. CONCLUSIONS: Donor serum TIMP-2 and uNAG levels are useful predictive biomarkers because they can provide the donor-based prediction for RGF.

RESUMO

Cancer is one of the major fatal diseases that seriously threaten human health, and its burden needs to be solved urgently. Health technology assessment (HTA) can provide scientific evidence-based basis for cancer diagnosis, treatment, prevention and related policy formulation. Cost-utility analysis is the gold standard for economic evaluation in HTA, and the accurate measurement of its health utility is one of the key elements to determine the accuracy of its results. This article focuses on systematic introduction of direct measures, multi-attribute health utility scales, and mapping methods in the field of cancer measurement and reviews their applications in cancer patients. Among them, direct measures are complex, costly, and require a high level of subject knowledge; multi-attribute health utility measures are currently the preferred method for measuring health utility in cancer patients; with the continuous development and refinement of disease-specific utility measures in multi-attribute health utility instruments, the mapping method may gradually decrease in future applications. This paper can provide a reference for the selection of health utility measurement tools for HTA in the field of cancer, and provide evidence-based basis for optimizing resource allocation and policy formulation in the field of cancer.

RESUMO

Objective: To investigate the toxicity of tris (2-chloropropyl) phosphate (TCIPP) and tributyl phosphate (TnBP) on the growth and development of zebrafish embryos, as well as to explore the underlying mechanisms at the transcriptional level. Methods: With zebrafish as a model, two hpf zebrafish embryos were exposed to TCIPP and TnBP (0.1, 1, 10, 100, 500, and 1 000 μmol/L) using the semi-static method, and their rates of lethality and hatchability were determined. The transcriptome changes of 120 hpf juvenile zebrafish exposed to environmentally relevant concentrations of 0.1 and 1 μmol/L were measured. Results: The 50% lethal concentrations (LC50) of TCIPP and TnBP for zebrafish embryos were 155.30 and 27.62 μmol/L (96 hpf), 156.5 and 26.05 μmol/L (120 hpf), respectively. The 72 hpf hatching rates of TCIPP (100 μmol/L) and TnBP (10 μmol/L) were (23.33±7.72)% and (91.67±2.97)%, which were significantly decreased compared with the control group (P<0.05). Transcriptome analysis showed that TnBP had more differential genes (DEGs) than TCIPP, with a dose-response relationship. These DEGs were enriched in 32 pathways in total, including those involved in oxidative stress, energy metabolism, lipid metabolism, and nuclear receptor-related pathways, using the IPA pathway analysis. Among them, three enriched pathways overlapped between TCIPP and TnBP, including TR/RXR activation and CAR/RXR activation. Additionally, DEGs were also mapped onto pathways of LXR/RXR activation and oxidative stress for TnBP exposure only. Conclusion: Both TCIPP and TnBP have growth and developmental toxicities in zebrafish embryos, with distinct biomolecular mechanisms, and TnBP has a stronger effect than TCIPP.

RESUMO

Breast cancer (BC) is a common type of tumor. Numerous patients are diagnosed and treated in the early stages of the disease; however, the recurrence rate remains high. Therefore, identifying sensitive and specific tumor markers to prevent and treat BC is essential. cMyc promoter binding protein 1 (MBP1) is a regulatory molecule located in the cell nucleus. It targets and regulates the expression of various cell proliferation, apoptosis and tumorassociated genes. MBP1 expression in BC tissues was detected using immunohistochemistry and further validated in BC and normal human cell lines using RTqPCR and western blot analysis. Low MBP1 expression, in clinical samples of BC, was associated with a poor prognosis of BC (n=50). MBP1 overexpression effectively inhibited the growth and metastasis of xenograft tumors in vivo. Cell counting kit8 assays confirmed that the proliferation of the BC cell lines was significantly increased following knockdown of MBP1 expression, while overexpression of MBP1 could significantly inhibit the proliferation of the BC cell lines. Mechanistically, a dualluciferase assay was used to confirm that MBP1 was the key transcriptional regulator of ßcatenin. In addition, MBP1 transcription and hypoxiainducible factor (HIF1α) induction were associated. By regulating the hypoxic microenvironmental state in the MDA231 and MCF7 cell lines, it was demonstrated that MBP1 served as a hypoxiaresponsive factor and could be a new target for tumor therapy. Taken together, these results suggested that MBP1, as a potential tumor marker associated with prognosis of BC and may serve as a therapeutic target for BC. Moreover, MBP1 plays a critical role in inhibiting the growth and progression of BC cell lines.

RESUMO

BackgroundBooster vaccination is important because of waning immunity and variant immune evasion. We conducted a single-blinded, randomized trial to evaluate the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of heterologous booster vaccination in health care workers (HCW) who had received two doses of ChAdOx1 nCov-19. Methods and findingsHCW at least 90 days after the second dose were enrolled to receive one of the four vaccines: BNT162b2, half-dose mRNA-1273, mRNA-1273, and MVC-COV1901. The primary outcomes were humoral and cellular immunogenicity and the secondary outcomes safety and reactogenicity 28 days post-booster. 340 HCW were enrolled: 83 received BNT162b2 (2 excluded), 85 half-dose mRNA-1273, 85 mRNA-1273, and 85 MVC-COV1901. mRNA vaccines had more reactogenicity than protein vaccine. Anti-spike IgG increased by a fold of 8.4 for MCV-COV1901, 32.2 for BNT162b2, 47.6 for half-dose mRNA-1273 and 63.2 for mRNA1273. The live virus microneutralization assay (LVMNA) against the wild type, alpha and delta variants were consistent with anti-spike IgG for all booster vaccines. The LVMNA in the four groups against omicron variant were 6.4 to 13.5 times lower than those against the wild type. Serum neutralizing antibody against omicron variant was undetectable in 60% of the participants who received MCV-COV1901 as a booster by LVMNA. By using pseudovirus neutralizing assay, we found that neutralization activity in the four groups against omicron variant were 4.6 to 5.2 times lower than that against the D614G. All booster vaccines induced comparable T cell response. ConclusionsThird dose booster not only increases neutralizing antibody titer but also enhances antibody capacity against SARS-CoV-2 variants. mRNA vaccines are preferred booster vaccines for those after primary series of ChAdOx1 nCov-19. RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To explore the clinical significance of magnetic resonance imaging water-fat separation (Dixon) technique in patients with multiple myeloma.@*METHODS@#A total of 41 newly diagnosed patients with multiple myeloma who underwent Dixon in The Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from April 2019 to April 2021 were included in this study. Patients were divided into observation group and control group according to whether Dixon performance was normal or not. The differences of clinical data and fat fraction (FF) between the two groups were compared. The correlation between FF and clinical data, disease stages and differences before and after treatment were also compared. The receiver operator characteristic curve of patients was drawn to analyze the diagnostic value of FF combined with serum alkaline phosphatase for bone destruction in patients with multiple myeloma.@*RESULTS@#Among the 41 patients, there were 12 cases in the control group and 29 cases in the observation group. There was no significant difference in age and sex between the two groups. In the observation group, β2-microglobulin concentration and M protein were significantly higher than those in the control group, while serum alkaline phosphatase and FF were lower (P<0.05). In all 41 patients included in the study, there was a significant negative correlation between FF value and β2-microglobulin concentration (r=-0.57), and a significant positive correlation between FF value and serum alkaline phosphatase (r=0.31). After treatment, FF value increased, while myeloma cell percentage, β2-microglobulin concentration and M protein decreased in 11 patients who completed 4 cycles of chemotherapy, and the differences before and after treatment were statistically significant (P<0.05). The value of serum alkaline phosphatase combined with FF value in predicting bone destruction is higher than that of FF value or serum alkaline phosphatase alone.@*CONCLUSION@#Dixon's different imaging manifestations can reflect the severity of the disease. FF value is correlated with clinical examination results and R-ISS staging, and there is a significant difference before and after treatment. Serum alkaline phosphatase combined with FF value is better than two indicators alone in predicting bone destruction.

RESUMO

This study aimed to investigate the neurotoxicity induced by trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and the possible protective mechanisms of boron (B). Mouse BV2 cells were treated with TCA (0, 0.39, 0.78, 1.56, 3.12, 6.25, or 12.5 mmol/L) and B (0, 7.8, 15.6, 31.25, 62.5, 125, 500, or 1,000 mmol/L) for 3 h and 24 h, respectively. Then, reactive oxygen species, and supernatant proinflammatory cytokine and protein levels were analyzed after 24 h of combined exposure. Beyond the dose-dependent decrease in the cellular viability, it clearly increased after B supplementation ( P < 0.05). Moreover, B decreased oxidative damage, and significantly down-regulated IL-6 levels and up-regulated TNF-β production ( P < 0.05). B also decreased apoptosis via the p53 pathway. The present findings indicated that TCA may induce oxidative damage, whereas B mitigates these adverse effects by decreasing cell apoptosis.

RESUMO

Breast cancer (BC) is one of the most common malignant tumours in women. The matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) enzyme family plays a complex role in the development of BC. There is increasing evidence that MMP11 plays a major role in BC; however, the underlying mechanisms are not clear. The present study confirmed by analysing clinical samples and TCGA data sets, that high expression of MMP11 in clinical samples of BC was strongly associated with a poor prognosis in BC patients. In addition, MTT and colony formation assays indicated that the proliferative capacity of BC was affected when MMP11 expression changed. Furthermore, pathway enrichment analysis was performed and it was revealed that the TGFß signalling pathway was a potential downstream target of MMP11. In the TGFß signalling pathway, MMP11 could significantly regulate the protein expression levels of Smad2 and Smad3 and inhibit the degradation of Smad2 through the ubiquitin proteasome pathway as determined by western blotting. In vivo, it was further verified that MMP11 knockdown could inhibit tumour proliferation and growth. Collectively, the present results demonstrated that MMP11 inhibited the degradation of Smad2 in the TGFß signalling pathway, thereby promoting the development of BC. Thus, MMP11 expression was not only revealed to be an important indicator of BC prognosis but may also be an important therapeutic target for further prevention of BC growth and proliferation. The present study indicated that MMP11targeted therapy may provide new solutions for BC treatment.

RESUMO

Objective:To explore the clinical application and long-term safety of hydroxychloroquine sulfate (HCQ) in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. Methods:A multi-center cross-sectional study was conducted between August 2017 and August 2018 in a random sample of eleven medical institutions of rheumatology and immunology in China. Patients who took HCQ for more than 3 months were enrolled into this study. The cumulative dose and long-term side effects of HCQ were recorded. The changes of laboratory indexes before and after treatment with HCQ were analyzed. Categorical variables were presented with counts and proportions, and evaluated by Chi-square test. Continuous parametric data were presented as Mean±standard deviation, and evaluated by Student's t test or Mann-Whitney U test. P-values less than 0.05 were considered statistically significant. Results:A total of 886 patients with rheumatic diseases were enrolled into this study, including 505 cases with systemic lupus erythematosus (57.0%), 210 cases with rheumatoid arthritis (23.7%), 80 cases with Sj?gren's syndrome (9.0%), 57 cases with undifferentiated connective tissue disease (6.4%), 12 cases of systemic vasculitis (1.4%), 10 cases of mixed connective tissue disease (1.1%), 7 cases of myositis (0.8%) and 5 cases with systemic sclerosis (0.6%). The most common long-term side effects of HCQ was skin or mucous lesions (12.4%) and vision problems (8.0%). Other adverse reactions included problems of digestive system (3.0%), nervous system (2.1%), musculoskeletal system (1.1%) and cardiovascular system (0.9%). 140 cases (15.8%) had stopped taking HCQ during the treatment. More than half of them decided to stop taking medicine by themselves. Fifty-four patients (6.1%) stopped using HCQ due to side effects while 24 of them took it again, and another 12 patients (1.4%) stopped the drug due to remission of illness. Patients were divided into three groups according to the cumulative dose of HCQ: less than 500 g, 500-1 000 g and more than 1 000 g respectively. There was significant difference in the incidence of long-term side effects among the three groups ( χ2=6.382, P=0.041). The last group (more than 1 000 g) suffered the highest incidence of long-term adverse reactions (37.1%). No severe adverse drug reactions were observed in this study. Conclusion:Hydroxychloroquine is widely used in the treatment of rheumatic diseases. The incidence of long-term side effects is 20.4%, is 6.1% lead to drug withdrawal, which are especially related to the cumulative doses. It should be adjusted properly according to the clinical application.

RESUMO

PURPOSE@#Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a significant global mental health concern, especially in the military. This study aims to estimate the efficacy of mindfulness meditation in the treatment of military-related PTSD, by synthesizing evidences from randomized controlled trials.@*METHODS@#Five electronic databases (Pubmed, EBSCO Medline, Embase, PsychINFO and Cochrane Library) were searched for randomized controlled trials focusing on the treatment effect of mindfulness meditation on military-related PTSD. The selection of eligible studies was based on identical inclusion and exclusion criteria. Information about study characteristics, participant characteristics, intervention details, PTSD outcomes, as well as potential adverse effects was extracted from the included studies. Risk of bias of all the included studies was critically assessed using the Cochrane Collaboration's tool. R Statistical software was performed for data analysis.@*RESULTS@#A total of 1902 records were initially identified and screened. After duplicates removal and title & abstract review, finally, 19 articles in English language with 1326 participants were included through strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results revealed that mindfulness meditation had a significantly larger effect on alleviating military-related PTSD symptoms compared with control conditions, such as treatment as usual, present-centered group therapy and PTSD health education (standardized mean difference (SMD) = -0.33; 95% CI [-0.45, -0.21]; p < 0.0001). Mindfulness interventions with different control conditions (active or non-active control, SMD = -0.33, 95% CI [-0.46, -0.19]; SMD = -0.49, 95% CI [-0.88, -0.10], respectively), formats of delivery (group-based or individual-based, SMD = -0.30, 95% CI [-0.42, -0.17], SMD = -0.49, 95% CI [-0.90, -0.08], respectively) and intervention durations (short-term or standard duration, SMD = -0.27, 95% CI [-0.46, -0.08], SMD = -0.40, 95% CI [-0.58, -0.21], respectively) were equally effective in improving military-related PTSD symptoms.@*CONCLUSION@#Findings from this meta-analysis consolidate the efficacy and feasibility of mindfulness meditation in the treatment of military-related PTSD. Further evidence with higher quality and more rigorous design is needed in the future.

RESUMO

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a common cancer, and extensive research suggests that microRNA may play an important role in the progression of RCC. The emphasis of this article was to reveal the function and mechanism of microRNA-1293(miR-1293) in the development of RCC tumors. First, the authors carried out bioinformatics analysis. The differential expression of miR-1293 in RCC tumor and normal cells was analyzed using the data from The Cancer Genome Atlas database, and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was carried out to test the survival rate. Subsequently, the miR-1293 expression in RCC cell lines was examined by quantitative real-time PCR. Then Cell counting kit-8 and Transwell assays were executed to detect the function of miR-1293 in RCC. Bioinformatics prediction, western blotting, and dual-luciferase reporter assay were set to check the target gene of miR-1293. Finally, they conducted rescue experiments to verify whether the regulation of miR-1293 on the biological function of RCC cells was achieved by regulating hydrocyanic oxidase 2 (HAO2). Bioinformatics results showed that miR-1293 was highly expressed in RCC, and the miR-1293 high-expression group showed a lower survival rate than the miR-1293 low-expression group, which suggested that the high expression of miR-1293 was related to unfavorable prognosis in RCC. Subsequent assays evidenced that upregulation of miR-1293 expression significantly increased the cell viability and promoted cell migration and invasion in RCC. Silencing miR-1293 expression showed opposite results. Furthermore, HAO2 was confirmed to be a direct target gene of miR-1293 by dual-luciferase reporter assay, and miR-1293 negatively regulated the expression of HAO2. Moreover, rescue experiments evidenced that miR-1293 reduced the cell viability, invasion, and migration of RCC by regulating HAO2. In sum, miR-1293 can regulate the viability, invasion, and migration of RCC tumor cells by targeting HAO2, suggesting that miR-1293 can be used as a new biomarker for clinical treatment of RCC.

RESUMO

Objective@#To verify the health advisory for short-term exposure to phenol.@*Methods@#The method of this validation experiment was the same as the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methodology for toxicology experiments used to determine phenol drinking water equivalent level (DWEL). Pregnant female Sprague-Dawley rats were administered phenol in distilled water by gavage at daily doses of 15, 30, 60, 120, and 240 mg/kg body weight (b.w.) from implantation (the 6th day post-mating) to the day prior to the scheduled caesarean section (the 20th day of pregnancy). The following information was recorded: general behavior; body weight; number of corpus luteum, live birth, fetus, stillbirth, and implantation; fetal gender; body weight; body length; tail length; and abnormalities and pathomorphological changes in the dams.@*Results@#In the 60 mg/kg b.w. dose group, the mortality of pregnant rats increased with increasing doses, suggesting maternal toxicity. Fetal and placental weights decreased as phenol dose increased from 30 mg/kg b.w., and were significantly different compared those in the vehicle control group, which suggested developmental toxicity in the fetuses. However, the phenol-exposed groups showed no significant change in other parameters compared with the vehicle control group ( > 0.05).@*Conclusion@#Despite using the same method as the US EPA, a different NOEAL of 15 mg/(kg·d) was obtained in this study.

RESUMO

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can establish mycorrhizal symbiosis system with most terrestrial plants, and play important roles in their growth and development. However, there is no systematic analysis and summarization of their roles in the growth, biosynthesis and accumulation of active substances of herbs,as well as stress-resistance mechanism. First, the main research methods of AMF were summarized in the paper, including the separation of AMF spores, morphological identification, chemical staining and molecular identification. The main morphological structures of some AMF were detailed in the table. In terms of growth promotion,AMF promoted the growth by prolonging mycelium, enhancing phosphatase secretion, organic acid, activation of soil and increasing absorption efficiency. In the aspect of biosynthesis and accumulation of flavonoids, terpenoids and other active substances in herbs,AMF improved the contents by regulating activities of signal substances and key enzymes involved in the metabolism of secondary products. In addition,AMF could alleviate a series of stresses caused by drought, heavy metal, high salt, high or low temperature by improving the activity of antioxidant enzymes, enhancing the ability of plants to scavenge free radicals, complexing toxic heavy metals, diluting high salt concentration,or inducing the expressions of key genes. Finally, the application prospects and in-depth study of AMF in the ecological planting of herbs were discussed, in order to provide reference for promoting relevant research.

Steroidal saponins are efficacious substances wildly existed in the herbs, and consist of glycosyl and steroid sapogenin. The biosynthesis pathways of steroidal saponins mainly include the cytosolic mevalonate (MVA) pathway and the plastidial methylerythritol 4-phosphate (MEP) pathway, with the MVA pathway as the main pathway. The key enzymes are involved in the biosynthetic pathway, including 3-hydroxy-3-methyl glutaryl coenzyme A reductase(HMGR),1-deoxy-D-xylulose 5-phosphate synthase(DXS),1-deoxy-D-xylulose-5-phosphatereduetoisomerase(DXR),farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase(FPS),squalene synthase(SS),squalene epoxidase(SE),cycloartenol synthase(CAS),cytochrome P450(CYP450),and steroidalglycosyltransferase(SGTase). In the paper, the biosynthesis roadmap of steroidal saponins was optimized based on previous studies. According to a comprehensive analysis on studies of key enzymes for the past five years, genes, like HMGR,SS,CYP450 and UGT,were studied more, while other genes, like FPS,SE,CAS,were known less. In conclusion, current studies still focus on the primary stage, but lack direct evidence for the roles of key enzymes. This paper would provide a reference and theoretical support for subsequent studies.

RESUMO

Quorum sensing(QS) is one of the research hotspots in the fields of microbiology and medicine in recent years. Quorum sensing is a cell communication regulatory system, which is used by bacterial flora to pass on information of population density by sensing specific signaling molecules to the environment. The QS system of bacteria can impact biological functions, such as bacterial growth, proliferation, biofilm formation, virulence factor production, antibiotic synthesis, and ultimately adapt the bacteria to environmental changes. At present, more and more active ingredients can regulate quorum sensing have been found in traditional Chinese medicines(TCM). TCM and their active ingredients can promote the growth of beneficial bacteria, inhibit the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria and finally achieve the purpose of treating diseases. It embodies multi-pathway and multi-target characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. This article first introduces molecular types and regulation mechanisms of quorum sensing signals between bacteria. On this basis, the human health-related bacterial quorum sensing is summarized, and the regulatory effect of TCM on bacterial quorum sensing system is discussed. Finally, it is noted that the material basis and mechanisms of TCM in improving human health through bacterial quorum sensing system are still unclear. Future research hotspots will focus on quorum sensing active substances, quorum sensing key nodes and relevant targets. In a word, this article provides reference for the treatment of relevant diseases.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To explore the possible long-term health effects of the defoamer used in seawater desalination by sub-chronic toxicity testing.@*METHODS@#Blood analysis, internal organ assessment, and histopathological examination were carried out in rats exposed to low, medium, and high (0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 g/kg BW, respectively) doses of defoamer for 90 days through oral administration.@*RESULTS@#The high dose group showed decreased blood alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase (P < 0.05). All doses resulted in a significant increase in albumin and decrease in globulin (P < 0.05). The direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin were decreased in the medium and high dose groups (P < 0.05). All dose groups showed significant induction of alkaline phosphatase (P < 0.05). Pathological examination revealed a case of liver mononuclear cell infiltration in the medium dose group and three cases of liver congestion, steatosis of hepatic cells around the central vein, and punctate necrosis with multiple focal mononuclear cell infiltration in male rats administered the high dose. The No Observed Adverse Effect Level was 0.5 g/kg BW in rats, with albumin and total bilirubin as health effect indices.@*CONCLUSION@#Long-term defoamer exposure may cause liver injury but has no significant impact on renal function in rats. The effect on blood cells in female rats was more prominent than that in male rats.

RESUMO

Objective To determine factors influencing the immunization of measles vaccine(MV) among health care workers in Hangzhou, and to provide recommendations to promote their MV immunization. Methods In 2016, we used typical sampling method to select 2 general hospitals of 3 different levels, 1 infectious diseases hospital and 1 children's hospital, and interviewed health care workers in high and low measles risk departments to investigate their MV immunization by using a structured questionnaire. Factors influencing their immunization were analyzed by logistic regression model. Results A total of 141 of 349 health care workers investigated had MV immunization history, and the MV immunization coverage rate was 40.40%.The logistic regression analysis showed that working in low measles risk department(OR=1.91, 95%CI: 1.20-3.04) was risk factors for MV immunization, and having confidence with the effectiveness of MV(OR=0.40, 95%CI: 0.21-0.78) . Knowing the "measles vaccination suggestion" (OR=0.50, 95%CI: 0.28-0.91) and the hospital had organized measles vaccination for health care workers in recent years(OR=0.35, 95%CI: 0.22-0.57) were protective factors for MV immunization. Conclusions Health care workers in Hangzhou had low MV coverage but high willingness. We should enhance education activity of MV immunization and organize measles vaccination for health care worker at regular intervals by hospitals to increase the MV coverage.
