RESUMO

The occurrence and distribution in the aquatic environment of Nanjing of 49 antibiotics from seven therapeutic classes were investigated using an improved analytical method developed for multiclass target analysis. The results showed that these antibiotics are widely present in the water bodies of this city, with a total concentration of up to 1.958 µg L-1. The most abundant class was tetracyclines, contributing 43.7% to the total antibiotic burden. Lincomycin was detected in all samples, and the detection rate of clindamycin was 90.5%. An exploratory analysis of the data points was performed by unsupervised pattern recognition (hierarchical cluster analysis, HCA) in an attempt to clarify the pollution level in different sampling areas, and robust cluster solutions grouped the data according to their different antibiotic contaminant profiles. The safety of drinking water resources was emphasized, and the rivers, as the main receiving water body for treated and untreated wastewater in this city, were more seriously contaminated than the surrounding lakes and reservoir, not only in concentration but also in detection frequency, in our study as well as in similar research studies. A correlation analysis between the presence of antibiotics and the environmental factors was conducted, and it was found that antibiotic contamination and water quality were closely connected; the better the water quality, the lower the antibiotic contamination. Positive correlations existed between the antibiotics and tested heavy metals, as well as between antibiotics and boron and arsenic. However, whether these correlations resulted from their reaction or a common source was difficult to determine, and the mechanism requires further exploration.

RESUMO

Objective:To study the acute toxicity and genotoxicity of Sanqi liver-protecting capsules to evaluate the toxicological safety. Methods:The mouse acute oral toxicity test, Ames test, micronucleus test of mouse bone marrow and mouse sperm shape ab-normality test were carried out for Sanqi liver-protecting capsules. Results:The mouse acute oral maximum tolerance dose ( MTD) of Sanqi liver-protecting capsules was above 20 g·kg-1 in the mouse acute oral toxicity test, which showed a non-toxic substance. The results of Ames test, micronucleus test of mouse bone marrow and mouse sperm shape abnormality test were negative in all the groups. Conclusion:Under the above experimental conditions, the genotoxicity of Sanqi liver-protecting capsules is not found out, therefore, the capsules are classified as a non-toxic drug.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the effect of rituximab on serum hepcidin (Hepc), soluble CD40 ligands (sCD40L), platelet derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in patients with malignant lymphadenoma. Methods 52 patients with malignant lymphoma from the hospital were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The control group were treated by cyclophosphamide, pirarubicin, vincristine and prednisone and the experiment group were treated on the basis of control group with rituximab. The serum hepcidin, sCD40L, PDGF-BB and LDH levels were compared after treatment. Results Compared with pre-treatment, the serum hepcidin, PDGF-BB and LDH levels were lower( P<0.05), the sCD40L level was higher(P<0.05) post-treatment.The serum hepcidin, PDGF-BB and LDH levels in experimental group post-treatment were lower, sCD40L level was higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The rituximab could reduce serum hepcidin, PDGF-BB and LDH levels and elevate serum sCD40L level in patients with malignant lymphadenoma.

RESUMO

Based on the effect for replenishing Qi and preventing exhaustion, this essay provides a method to rebuild the quality evaluation system of Panax ginseng. As an independent medical system, the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) science lacks enough credible evidences to support its theory and thereby wants more relevant studies. Current, it is a misunderstanding for experimental studies on TCM to prove TCM drugs from the angle of western medicine. Therefore, following study modes are recommended to researchers focusing on either the theory of the unique importance of class origin or the theory of the unique importance of techniques. Under the guidance of TCM theories, a new TCM assessment mode, consisting of clinical efficacy, pharmacological effect and effective components, is established in line with clinical application of TCMs. Studies on Chemical fingerprint or active ingredient are made on effective components. In-depth studies are worth to the viewpoint to rebuild the TCM quality reassessment system. On the basis of analysis on ancient herbal literatures and experience in clinical application of TCMs, the author proves the irreplaceable effect of P. ginseng. (pure ginseng decoction) is to replenish Qi and prevent exhaustion. Based on the major effect, a pharmacological model is established in combination with modern clinical efficacy to screen effective components of ginseng herbs and make a quality assessment on safety and efficiency of clinical application of P. ginseng, in order to provide theoretical and experimental basis for cultivation, development and utilization of P. ginseng resources on Changbai mountain.

RESUMO

[Objective] To investigate effect of specific nursing on quality of life of postoperative women with gynecologic malignant tumor.[Method]46 cases were randomly divided into two groups: the control group and the experiment group. The control group received traditional nursing, the experiment group received specific nursing. The quality of life was surveyed by SF-36 Scale and Olson Marriage Quality Test. [Result]The quality of life of experiment group was improved significantly(P
