RESUMO

The objective of this study was to analyze the differences in the proteins in non-capacitated and capacitated boar sperm and to identify the functions of the differential proteins and key capacitation proteins of boar sperm before and after capacitation. Transwell chambers were used to separate capacitated sperm proteins using a unique polycarbonate membrane. Meanwhile, isotopic tags for relative and absolute quantification combined with LC‒MS/MS analysis were used for quantitative determination of differential proteins. Through the comparative analysis of different databases, 475 different proteins were identified in non-capacitated sperm and capacitated sperm, of which 303 were significantly upregulated and 172 were significantly downregulated. These differentially-expressed proteins are mainly involved in redox processes, cell biosynthesis processes and cell aromatic compound metabolism biological processes. They also participate in the signaling pathways of phosphorylation, ketone synthesis and degradation, most of which interact to varying degrees. Among these differentially-expressed proteins, phosphofructokinase attracted our attention as a potential capacitated protein. We further verified that phosphofructokinase can promote boar sperm capacitation by immunoblotting.

Objective:To investigate the expressions of apoptosis-related factors survivin, p53 and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) in breast cancer tissues and their prognostic value.Methods:A total of 131 patients undergoing radical mastectomy for breast cancer who were admitted to Tangshan Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from February 2015 to January 2019 were selected as the research subjects. During the operation, the cancer tissues and adjacent tissues (normal tissues >3 cm from the tumor margin) were collected from the patients. Expressions of survivin, p53 and HER2 in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues of patients were detected by using immunohistochemistry. The prognoses of patients were recorded after the follow-up for 3 years; the recurrence, metastasis and death treated as the poor prognosis, the rest prognoses of patients were treated as the good prognosis group. The difference of clinicopathological characteristics between the poor prognosis group and the good prognosis group was compared. Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze risk factors for prognosis of breast cancer patients. The result of prognosis of breast cancer was taken as the golden standard. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the value of survivin pasitive, p53 pasitive, HER2 pasitive alone, the combination of both and the combination of the there in the judgement of poor prognosis of breast cancer.Results:The positive expression rates of survivin [49.6% (65/131) vs. 7.6% (10/131)], p53 [60.3% (79/131) vs. 13.0% (17/131)] and HER2 [79.4% (104/131) vs. 16.8% (22/131)] in cancer tissues were higher than those in adjacent tissues (all P<0.001). A total of 131 breast cancer patients were followed up for 3 years without any loss of follow-up, and the follow-up rate was 100%. Within the follow-up for 3 years, there were 15 (11.5%) cases of recurrence, 8 (6.1%) cases of metastasis, and 10 (7.6%) cases of death, the incidence of poor prognosis was 25.2% (33/131); and the remaining 98 cases had good prognosis. The proportions of patients with TNM stage Ⅲ, lymph node metastasis, poorly differentiated histology, tumor diameter ≥3 cm, survivin, p53, and HER2 positive expressions in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group (all P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that TNM stage Ⅲ [ OR = 5.323 (95% CI 2.190-12.936)], lymph node metastasis [ OR = 4.773 (95% CI 1.964-11.600)], tumor diameter ≥3 cm [ OR = 3.582(95% CI 1.474-8.706)], positive survivin [ OR = 2.740 (95% CI 1.127-6.659)], positive p53 [ OR = 3.271 (95% CI 1.346-7.949)], and positive HER2 [ OR = 3.873 (95% CI 1.594-9.412)] were independent risk factors for prognosis of breast cancer (all P<0.001). The ROC curve results showed that the area under the curve (AUC) values of survivin positive, p53 positive,HER2 positive, and the combination of any two were more than 0.80 (all P<0.001); the AUC of the combination of the three was 0.944 (95% CI 0.890-0.977) ( P<0.001). Conclusions:The expressions of survivin, p53, and HER2 are highly expressed in breast cancer tissues. The expressions of the three can be used to judge the prognosis of breast cancer patients, and the combination of the three has a higher judgement value.

Objective:To evaluate the role of orphan nuclear receptor Nur77 in tunicamycin(TM)-induced injury to hippocampal neurons and the relationship with endoplasmic reticulum stress in mice.Methods:Mouse HT22 cells were divided into 4 groups ( n=10 each) using a random number table method: control group (C group), Nur77 specific agonist Csn-B group (Csn-B group), endoplasmic reticulum stress inducer TM group (TM group), and TM+ Csn-B group. Cells in C group were cultured for 24 h under normal condition. In Csn-B group, Csn-B at a final concentration of 10 μg/ml was added to the culture medium, and the cells were incubated for 24 h. In TM group, TM at a final concentration of 200 ng/ml was added to the culture medium and the cells were incubated for 24 h to induce cell endoplasmic reticulum stress injury. Cells in TM+ Csn-B group were pretreated with Csn-B at a final concentration of 10 μg/ml for 15 min, then TM at a final concentration of 200 ng/ml was added, and the cells were co-incubated for 24 h. The cell viability was examined by CCK-8 assay kit after treatment in each group. The expression of endoplasmic reticulum stress-related protein CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein homologous protein (CHOP), glucose regulated protein 78 (GRP78)and apoptosis-associated protein Bcl-2, Bax, caspase-3 and cleaved-caspase-3 was detected by Western blot. Results:Compared with C group, the cell viability was significantly decreased, and the expression of CHOP, GRP78, Bax and cleaved-caspase-3 was up-regulated, and the expression of Bcl-2 and caspase-3 was down-regulated in TM group ( P<0.05 or 0.01). Compared with TM group, the cell viability was significantly increased, the expression of CHOP, GRP78, Bax and cleaved-caspase-3 was down-regulated, and the expression of Bcl-2 and caspase-3 was up-regulated in TM+ Csn-B group ( P<0.05 or 0.01). Conclusions:Orphan nuclear receptor Nur77 is involved in TM-induced injury to hippocampal neurons, which is related to activation of the endoplasmic reticulum stress in mice.

Objective:To establish a three-dimensional model of locking plate fixation for 42A2 type oblique tibial fractures with different fracture line directions and different angles between the fracture line and the long axis of the tibia. Finite element analysis was used to calculate and analyze the biomechanics of locking plate, screw, and tibia, providing theoretical basis for clinical application.Methods:A healthy adult volunteer, 25 years old, male, with a height of 173 cm and a weight of 69.5 kg, was selected to perform computed tomography (CT) scans on the left tibia. Relevant data were obtained to establish a locking steel plate fixation model for 42A2 type tibia with different oblique fracture line directions and different angles between the fracture line and the long axis of the tibia. Eight hole pure titanium plates were used for fixation, respectively. We compared the Mises stress changes of locking plates, screws, and tibia in different angle fracture models.Results:In the case of a 42A2 type fracture in the left oblique direction with a fracture line from outside to inside, the maximum Mises stress in the tibia was 114 MPa, the maximum Mises stress in the screw was 279.8 MPa, and the maximum Mises stress in the locking steel plate was 302.4 MPa; In the case of a 42A2 type fracture in the right oblique fracture with a fracture line from the bottom to the top, the maximum Mises stress of the tibia was 93.41MPa, the maximum Mises stress of the screw was 353.4 MPa, and the maximum Mises stress of the locking steel plate was 411.8 MPa.Conclusions:Regardless of the oblique fractures in both left and right directions, the maximum stress values are: locking plate>screw>tibia; When the position of the locking steel plate is fixed, the maximum stress values of the locking steel plate and screw are both right oblique fracture>left oblique fracture; And the maximum stress values all increase with the increase of angle.

RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of deep brain stimulation (DBS) in the treatment of Parkinson′s disease (PD).Methods:32 PD patients treated in Hunan Brain Hospital from January 2016 to December 2018 were selected for the study. Guided by MRI and supplemented by electrophysiological stimulation to correct the target, PD patients were treated with DBS for the nucleus accumbens. Based on Webster and Unified Parkinsons Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) scores before and after DBS treatment, the clinical treatment effects were evaluated. And the content of Aβ1-42, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, uric acid (UA), malondialdehyde (MDA), homocysteine (Hcy), S-nitrosylated dynamin-relatedprotein 1 (SNO-Drp1) and Drp1 was measured before and after DBS treatment. The ratio of SNO-Drp1/Drp1 was also measured.Results:The Webster score and UPDRS score of PD patients after DBS treatment were lower than those before DBS treatment ( P<0.05). The Aβ1-42 and Drp1content of PD patients after DBS treatment was higher than that before DBS treatment ( P<0.05), while the content of IL-1β, UA, MDA, Hcy and the ratio of SNO-Drp1/Drp1 were lower than before treatment ( P<0.05). Conclusions:DBS has confirmed a good clinical effect in the treatment of PD patients and significantly improved the quality of life of patients.

Lemierre syndrome is a rare, potentially fatal condition characterized by internal jugular vein thrombosis following an acute oropharyngeal infection, often accompanied with cervical necrotizing fasciitis. This paper reviews 5 cases of Lemierre syndrome with cervical necrotizing fasciitis, extensive cervical drainage and sufficient antibiotics is crucial treatment for Lemierre syndrome, anticoagulation combined with antibiotics is safe and effective for propagation or nonresolution of the thrombus.

Objective To compare differences of clinical factors related to early pregnancy loss between invitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET) treatment and natural pegnancy. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the 363 cases of early pregnancy loss between Dec. 2015 to May 2016 in Peking University Third Hospital, during which 173 cases were after IVF-ET treatment(IVF-ET group), and others were natural pregnancies(natural group). Results The average age in IVF-ET group was significantly higher than that in the natural group [(34.1±4.3)versus(31.8±4.1)years old, P<0.01]. The terminating time of pregnancy loss in IVF-ET group was short than that in the natural group [(59.8±9.2) versus(69.9 ± 11.1)days, P<0.01]. The incidence of embryo abnormal chromosome in IVF-ET group was significantly lower than that in the natural group [57.2%(99/173)versus 74.2%(141/190), P<0.01], during which abnormal chromosome numbers were the most common. Conclusions The pregnancy loss of early pregnancy is mainly caused by chromosome abnormality. The proportion of chromosome abnormality in early pregnancy loss after IVF-ET is not higher than that of natural pregnancy, indicating that there are relatively reliable gametes and embryo safety in IVF treatment.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of trimebutine combined with Xiangsha Pingwei in the treatment of functional dyspepsia and its effect on gastrointestinal hormone.Methods One hundred and twenty cases of functional dyspepsia were randomly divided into the control group and observation group,60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with trimebutine 0.2 g,3 times/d and the observation group was treated with trimebutine 0.2 g,3 times/d and Xiangsha Pingwei 10 g,2 times/d.Both groups were treated for four weeks,a course of treatment.Clinical efficacy and the influence on gastrointestinal hormone levels were compared between the two groups.Results The symptoms scores in both groups all decreased significantly after treatment.While the postprandial fullness scores,early satiety scores and epigastric pain scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (0.62±0.12 vs.1.85±0.25,0.56±0.14 vs.1.46±0.21,0.48±0.15 vs.1.32±0.12,t=34.36,27.62,33.87,P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (90.00% vs.73.33%,χ2=5.57,P<0.05).MOT and GAS levels in both groups increased significantly.While MOT and GAS levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (MOT: (355.2±78.1) ng/L vs.(288.7±82.4) ng/L;GAS:(96.5±17.6) ng/L vs.(88.4±16.0) ng/L,t=4.54,2.64,P<0.05).The somatostatin (SS) level in both groups decreased significantly.While the SS level in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group ((41.1±11.1) ng/L vs.(48.9±12.9) ng/L,t=3.55,P<0.05).Conclusion Trimebutine combined with Xiangsha Pingwei can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and gastrointestinal hormone in patients with functional dyspepsia.

OBJECTIVE@#To study the effect of underground work on cardiovascular system health in coal miners.
@*METHODS@#Male coal miners, who received electrocardiographic examinations between June, 2013 and August, 2014 in Hunan Prevention and Treatment Institute for Occupational Diseases to exclude pneumoconiosis, were enrolled for this study (n=3 134). Miners with 2 years or more underground work experience were selected as the exposed group (n=2 370), while miners without underground work experience were selected as the control group (n=764). The prevalence of electrocardiographic abnormalities and the influential factors were compared between the 2 groups.
@*RESULTS@#The prevalences of electrocardiographic abnormalities, hypertension, heart rate abnormalities and cardiovascular system abnormalities in the exposed group vs the control group were 37.6% vs 25.4%, 20.5% vs 13.4%, 5.7% vs 6.0%, 49.8% vs 35.2%, respectively. The cardiovascular system abnormalities were correlated with the underground work (OR=3.128, 95% CI: 1.969-4.970), the underground work experience (OR=1.205, 95% CI: 1.070-1.358) and the type of works (mining worker OR=1.820, 95% CI: 1.527-2.169; auxiliary worker OR=1.937, 95% CI: 1.511-2.482; other worker OR=3.291, 95%CI: 2.120-5.109).
@*CONCLUSION@#Underground work may increase the prevalence of cardiovascular system abnormalities for coal miners. The longer the coal miners work in underground, the higher the risk of the cardiovascular system abnormalities they are.

OBJECTIVE@#To explore the effect of dust exposure, type of work, age, length of service and duration of dust exposure on pulmonary function in coal miners by pulmonary function tests.
@*METHODS@#A total of 1 953 coal miners, who received occupational healthy examination and pulmonary function tests during June, 2013 and August, 2014 in Hunan Prevention and Treatment Institute, were enrolled for this study.
@*RESULTS@#A total of 1 302 miners (66.7%) displayed pulmonary dysfunction, including 1 139 with mild dysfunction (58.3%) and 163 with moderate or more serious dysfunction (8.3%). The risk factors for pulmonary dysfunction were age (OR=1.329, 95% CI: 1.196-1.620), dust exposure duration (OR=1.267, 95% CI: 1.136-1.413) and type of works (mining workers OR=1.156, 95% CI: 1.033-1.293; all P<0.05).
@*CONCLUSION@#The incidence rate of pulmonary dysfunction in coal miners is relatively high in Hunan Province. Most of them are mild dysfunction. The incidence rate of pulmonary dysfunction in mining works is statistically higher than that in other work types. Older workers and long duration-exposed workers are more likely to have pulmonary dysfunction.

Objective To evaluate the impact of the intrauterine device (IUD) insertion on the mental state of women.Methods From Jan.2009 to Jun.2010,a multi-center clinical observational study was performed.Totally 641 women were selected in the six provinces' 18 family planning service stations and hospitals for IUD insertion surgery study.Analysis of the change of women's mental state which was evaluated by symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90) scale before and after IUD insertion surgery.Results Before and after IUD insertion surgery,10 factors' scores in SCL-90 of the observed objects were between 1.1 to 1.2,total scores were 107 ± 27 and 105 ± 25,respectively.Before and after surgery,total average score both were 1.2,the average score of positive items both were 2.1.The difference of the above results were not statistically significance (all P >0.05).Preoperative and postoperative,the rate of positive items was 9.2%-19.6% and 7.7%-17.6%,respectively.In addition to anxiety and fear,the rate of other factors' positive items postoperative was significantly lower than those in the preoperative (all P < 0.05).The incidence of the observed objects postoperative of each factor score,deteriorated was in the range of 4.9% to 23.0%,improved was in the range of 26.3%-50.1%.The incidence of total scores,deterioration was 28.8% (166/575),improved was 45.6% (262/575).The incidence of the average score of positive items,deterioration was 3.7% (21/575),improved was 52.3% (301/575).Logistic analysis showed that,in addition to unit level,there were no other significant influencing factors for women' mental state of postoperative (all P > 0.05).Conclusion IUD insertion surgery has no adverse effect on women's mental state.

Objective To investigate the effects of expression of mitochondria long-chain fatty acid oxidative enzyme (long-chain 3 hyroxyacyl CoA dehydrogenase,LCHAD) and p38 mitogen activated proteinkinase (p38MAPK) signal transduction pathway in severe preeclampsia.Methods Serum-free trophoblast cells cultured in vitro were stimulated by early onset severe preeclampsia serum (E-PE group),late onset severe preeclampsia serum (L-PE group),HELLP syndrome serum (HELLP group),and normal pregnancy serum (NP group) respectively; each group was added DMEM/F12 medium,reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase inhibitor (NADPH-Ⅰ) and p38 MAPK inhibitor (p38-Ⅰ)to stimulate cells.Expression of mRNA and protein of LCHAD in trophoblast cells were detected by real-time PCR and western blot.Results (1) The expression of mRNA of LCHAD:the level of mRNA of LCHAD in NP+DMEM,E-PE + DMEM,E-PE + NADPH-Ⅰ,E-PE + p38-Ⅰ,L-PE + DMEM,L-PE + NADPH-Ⅰ,L-PE + p38-Ⅰ and HELLP + DMEM,HELLP + NADPH-Ⅰ,HELLP + p38-Ⅰ groups were 1.00 ± 0.03,0.14 ±0.08,0.95 ±0.20,1.43±1.02,0.37 ±0.18,1.51 ±0.36,1.60 ±0.31,0.10 ±0.04,0.49 ±0.10,0.44 ± 0.21,respectively.The relative expressions of mRNA of LCHAD were significantly reduced in E-PE + DMEM,L-PE + DMEM and HELLP + DMEM groups compared with the NP + DMEM group (P <0.05).Compared with the NP groups,the relative expressions of mRNA of LCHAD were significantly increased in L-PE + NADPH-Ⅰ and L-PE + p38-Ⅰ group (P < 0.05),while reduced in HELLP groups (P <0.05).(2) The expression of protein of LCHAD:the relative expressions of protein of LCHAD in NP +DMEM,E-PE + DMEM,E-PE + NADPH-Ⅰ,E-PE + p38-Ⅰ,L-PE + DMEM,L-PE + NADPH-Ⅰ,L-PE +p38-Ⅰ and HELLP + DMEM,HELLP + NADPH-Ⅰ,HELLP + p38-Ⅰ groups were 19.4 ± 2.2,10.7 ± 1.1,17.9±3.3,19.1 ±2.9,16.4 ±2.3,20.3 ±2.3,20.9 ±4.3,12.4 ±2.3,17.6 ±2.6,17.7 ±2.0 respectively.Compared with the NP groups,the protein expressions of LCHAD were significantly remarkably reduced in E-PE + DMEM,L-PE + DMEM and HELLP groups (P < 0.05).Compared with the DMEM groups,the protein expressions of LCHAD were significantly increased in NADPH-Ⅰ and p38-Ⅰ groups of E-PE,L-PE and HELLP groups (P < 0.05).Conclusions These studies demonstrate that long chain fatty acid oxidation was involved in the pathogenesis and development of preeclampsia.The expressions of gene and protein of LCHAD were remarkably affected by early onset severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome.NADPH-Ⅰ and p38-Ⅰ may allay the disorder of fatty acid oxidation.p38MAPK signal transduction pathway may contributed in this process.

Objective To investigate the oxidative stress and inflammation in trophoblast cells stimulated by different chain length fatty acids.MethodsSerum-free trophoblast cells cultured in vitro were divided into five groups,which were incubated with DMEM medium without free fatty acid (F-FFA),short chain fatty acids (SC-FFA),medium chain fatty acids (MC-FFA),long chain fatty acids (LC-FFA),very long chain fatty acids (VLC-FFA).Then cells in each group were stimulated by DMEM medium,reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase inhibitor (apocynin) and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinases (p38MAPK) inhibitor (SB203580) and were subdivided as each FFA plus-DMEM group, plus-NADPH-Ⅰ and plus-p38MAPK-Ⅰ groups.Expressions of mRNA and protein of p38MAPK and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) in trophoblast cells were detected by real-time PCR and western blot.Results (1) The mRNA expression of p38MAPK in LC-FFA + DMEM,VLC-FFA + DMEM,LC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ,LC-FFA + p38MAPK-Ⅰ,VLC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ,VLC-FFA + p38MAPK-Ⅰ group were 4.56 ±0.28,22.65 ±2.40,0.87 ±0.06,1.02 ±0.15,19.87 ± 1.93,10.22 ±0.75 separately,and the protein expressions were 0.79 ± 0.02,0.93 ± 0.10,0.43 ± 0.06,0.44 ± 0.19,0.79 ± 0.10,0.81 ±0.14.Compared with other groups,the mRNA and protein expressions of p38MAPK in LC-FFA + DMEM,VLC-FFA + DMEM group were increased ( P < 0.05 ).Compared with LC-FFA + DMEM group,mRNA and protein expressions of p38MAPK in LC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ and LC-FFA + p38MAPK-Ⅰ group were significantly decreased (P < 0.05 ).Compared with VLC-FFA + DMEM group,mRNA and protein expressions of p38MAPK had no difference in VLC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ group (P > 0.05 ),mRNA expression of p38MAPK in VLC-FFA + p38MAPK-Ⅰ group was significantly decreased (P < 0.05 ),but there was no difference in protein expression ( P > 0.05).(2) The mRNA expression of COX-2 in LC-FFA + DMEM,VLC-FFA +DMEM,LC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ,LC-FFA + p38MAPK-Ⅰ,VLC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ,VLC-FFA + p38MAPK-Ⅰ group were 3.97 ±0.03,39.08 ±0.63,0.99 ±0.13,0.98 ±0.18,20.93 ±3.70,13.46 ± 2.31 separately,and the protein expressions were 1.32 ± 0.20,1.33 ± 0.25,0.59 ± 0.13,0.58 ± 0.30,0.88 ± 0.18,0.91 ± 0.24.Compared with other groups,mRNA and protein expressions of COX-2 in LC-FFA + DMEM and VLC-FFA + DMEM group were significantly increased ( P < 0.05 ).Compared with LC-FFA + DMEM group,mRNA and protein expressions of COX-2 in LC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ and LC-FFA +p38MAPK-Ⅰ group were decreased ( P < 0.05 ).Compared with VLC-FFA + DMEM group,mRNA and protein expressions of COX-2 in VLC-FFA + NADPH-Ⅰ and VLC-FFA + p38MAPK-Ⅰ group were all decreased ( P < 0.05 ).( 3 ) The correlation analysis showed that there were significantly positive correlations between the mRNA and protein expressions of p38MAPK and COX-2 in LC-FFA group ( P < 0.05 ).There were significantly positive correlations in protein expression ( P < 0.05 ),but no conrelation in the mRNA expression between p38MAPK and COX-2 in the F-FFA,SC-FFA,MC-FFA,VLC-FFA groups (P > 0.05).ConclusionsThe oxidative stress and inflammation may exist in trophoblast cells which were stimulated by LC-FFA and VLC-FFA.p38MAPK signal transduction pathway may contributed in this process.

Objective To discuss feasibility and therapeutic effect of the interventional management through biliary tract drainage with percutaneous transhepatic puncture technique for biliary tract stricture after orthotopic liver transplantation. Methods A retrospective review of the clinical and imaging materials of 292 postoperative orthotopic liver transplantation cases was made. Of these 292 cases, 30 patients suffered from biliary tract complications and treated with billiary balloon dilatation, bile drainage and biliary stenting techniques. Results After biliary balloon dilatation, 3 cases of biliary tract strictures and leaks, 3 cases of simple biliary anastomosis site strictures and 7 out of the 8 cases of multiple biliary tract strictures were cured. In one of the multiple biliary tract stricture patients, a hepatic hematoma after biliary balloon dilatation was found and a second liver transplantation was done. In the 14 cases of multiple biliary tract strictures accompanied with biliary sludge, balloon dilatation technique was repeatedly performed. In 12 of the 14 cases, the strictures were improved remarkably and jaundice was subsided; In one of 14 cases, biliary tract stenting procedure was performed, but liver re-transplatation was carried out because of stent obstruction by much sludge. In the remaining 1 of the 14 cases, because there was no improvement of the strictures and relief of jaundice was revealed after the repeated procedures, liver re-transplantation was finally done In 2 cases of strictures at the opening segment of the T tube, the procedure of percutaneous transhepatic puncture for bile drainage was managed. After the procedure, the strictures were alleviated and the jaundice relieved. Conclusion The interventional managements through percutaneous transhepatic puncture techniques were effective, convenient and minimally invasive for treating biliary tract strictures after orthotopic liver transplantation.
