RESUMO

BACKGROUND: To explore the role of Kelch repeat and BTB (POZ) domain containing 2 (KBTBD2) in Gastric cancer(GC) via studying the level of KBTBD2 and its impact on GC cells and mice model. METHODS: Expression of KBTBD2 in GC was analyzed by analysis of TCGA data, Western blotting and Real-time quantitative polymerasechain reaction (RT-qPCR). The role of KBTBD2 on GC cells proliferation, viability, invasion, migration and apoptosis in vitro were assessed by using western blotting,RT-qPCR,CCK-8, EDU, Colony Formation Assay, Wound healing assay, Transwell, JC-1 mitochondrial membrane potential and flow cytometry assay, respectively. And levels of Bcl-2, BAX, PARP, E-cadherin, Vimentin, N-cadherin, EGFR, SOS1, NROS, BRAF,ERK1/2 and GAPDH were tested by western blotting. Relation of KBTBD2 and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) was predicted by KEGG analysis. KBTBD2 gene GSEA enrichment was analyzed by using R language. Moreover, CCK-8, western blotting, and wound healing assays were used to verify the correlation of KBTBD2 and EGFR pathway. Finally, tumor growth in mice was also investigated. Cells proliferation, migration and apoptosis were detected by Ki67 staining, Tunnel staining and mouse lung metastasis model. RESULTS: KBTBD2 was highly expressed in GC, and was related to poor prognosis. Moreover, silencing KBTBD2 suppressed GC cell proliferation, migration and invasion, while also inhibited the EMT, but promoted apoptosis. At the same time, KBTBD2 overexpression showed opposite results. In addition, KBTBD2 regulated the EGFR pathway. Further, silencing KBTBD2 inhibited tumor growth, cell proliferation and migration but promoted apoptosis in vivo, and KBTBD2 overexpression showed opposite results. CONCLUSIONS: KBTBD2 was highly expressed in GC. KBTBD2 promotes the progress of GC by activating EGFR signal pathway. KBTBD2 may thus be a novel target for treating GC.

RESUMO

This study reports a thermostable glucose-stimulated ß-glucosidase, BglY442, from hot-spring metagenomic data that was cloned and expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3). The molecular mass of recombinant BglY442 was 69.9 kDa and was used in the production of gardenia blue. The recombinant BglY442 showed its maximum activity at pH 6.0 and 75 °C, maintained 50 % activity at 70 °C for 36 h, presented over 90 % activity in a broad pH range and a wide range of pH stability. Moreover, BglY442 exhibited excellent tolerance toward methanol and ethanol. The specific activity of BglY442 was 235 U/mg at pH 6.0 and 75 °C with 10 mM pNPG as substrate. BglY442 activity increased by over fourfold with 2 M glucose or xylose. Specifically, the enzyme kinetics of BglY442 seem to be non-Michaelis-Menten kinetics or atypical kinetics because the Michaelis-Menten saturation kinetics were not observed with pNPG, oNPG or geniposide as substrates. Under optimum conditions, geniposide was dehydrated by BglY442 and reacted with nine amino acids respectively by the one-pot method. Only the Arg or Met derived pigments showed bright blue, and these two pigments had similar ultraviolet absorption spectra. The OD590 nm of GB was detected to be 1.06 after 24 h with the addition of Arg and 1.61 after 36 h with the addition of Met. The intermediate was elucidated and identified as ginipin. Molecular docking analysis indicated that the enzyme had a similar catalytic mechanism to the reported GH1 Bgls. BglY442 exhibited potential for gardenia blue production by the one-pot method. With outstanding thermostability and glucose tolerance, BglY442 should be considered a potential ß-glucosidase in biotechnology applications.

RESUMO

This study was aimed at investigating the photofatigue resistance and mechanical properties of photochromic wood-plastic composites using a stabilizer complex-AH (antioxidant 1010 and hindered amine light stabilizer HALS 770)-with different contents of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which was prepared by the melt-blending extrusion process and three-dimensional (3D) printing. Photofatigue resistance, mechanical property, microtopography, and thermal analyses of 3D printed samples were performed. The results showed that the difference in surface color of composites improved by 26.7% with addition of AH after 10 days of accelerated aging, whereas the mechanical strength decreased. Upon adding TPU, composites' impact strength significantly increased by 25.48% and 87.87% with 10% and 20% addition, respectively. Meanwhile, the interface compatibilities between the components were enhanced. The differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis results indicated that 10% TPU could improve the thermal stability of composites.

RESUMO

Insect pests like Tribolium and Sitophilus siblings are major threats to grain storage and processing, causing quality and quantity losses that endanger food security. These closely related species, having very similar morphological and biological characteristics, often exhibit variations in biology and pesticide resistance, complicating control efforts. Accurate pest species identification is essential for effective control, but workplace safety in the grain bin associated with grain deterioration, clumping, fumigator hazards, and air quality create challenges. Therefore, there is a pressing need for an online automated detection system. In this work, we enriched the stored-grain pest sibling image dataset, which includes 25,032 annotated Tribolium samples of two species and five geographical strains from real warehouse and another 1774 from the lab. As previously demonstrated on the Sitophilus family, Convolutional Neural Networks demonstrate distinct advantages over other model architectures in detecting Tribolium. Our CNN model, MCSNet+, integrates Soft-NMS for better recall in dense object detection, a Position-Sensitive Prediction Model to handle translation issues, and anchor parameter fine-tuning for improved matching and speed. This approach significantly enhances mean Average Precision (mAP) for Sitophilus and Tribolium, reaching a minimum of 92.67 ± 1.74% and 94.27 ± 1.02%, respectively. Moreover, MCSNet+ exhibits significant improvements in prediction speed, advancing from 0.055 s/img to 0.133 s/img, and elevates the recognition rates of moving insect sibling species in real wheat storage and visible light, rising from 2.32% to 2.53%. The detection performance of the model on laboratory-captured images surpasses that of real storage facilities, with better results for Tribolium compared to Sitophilus. Although inter-strain variances are less pronounced, the model achieves acceptable detection results across different Tribolium geographical strains, with a minimum recognition rate of 82.64 ± 1.27%. In real-time monitoring videos of grain storage facilities with wheat backgrounds, the enhanced deep learning model based on Convolutional Neural Networks successfully detects and identifies closely related stored-grain pest images. This achievement provides a viable solution for establishing an online pest management system in real storage facilities.

RESUMO

With the continuous development of thermal infrared remote sensing technology and the maturation of remote sensing inversion algorithms based on surface temperatures, identifying high-temperature anomalous areas by inverting surface temperatures has become an crucial approach to finding geothermal potential areas. The eastern region of Longyang in western Yunnan Province is renowned for geothermal resources, though the distribution area of geothermal potential remains unknown. Therefore, this study used Landsat-8 TIRS data and four surface temperature inversion algorithms, namely, mono-window algorithm, single-channel algorithm, Du split window algorithm (SWD), and Jiménez-Muñoz split window algorithm (SWJ), to explore the astern region of Longyang. The inversion results were compared with Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer Land Surface Temperature (MODIS LST) results for analysis and cross-validation to select the optimal algorithm. A multi-view remote sensing temperature anomaly information extraction method was adopted. Moreover, the overall threshold method, the fracture structure buffer method, and the joint analysis of diurnal temporal data were combined for the reduction of the thermal anomaly area as well as for comprehensively defining the geothermal prospective area in the study area. The results demonstrated that the mono-window algorithm had the highest accuracy with a Pearson coefficient of 0.77, which is more suitable for the surface temperature inversion in Longyang area. Furthermore, three geothermal anomalies (A, B, and C) were identified in the study area, with larger thermal anomaly in A and C, but a smaller one in B. All three areas had hot spring points verified, with A and C exhibiting more significant development potential. The research results provide a reliable methodological basis for the development of geothermal resources in the region.

RESUMO

Gastrodia elata needs to establish a symbiotic relationship with Armillaria strains to obtain nutrients and energy. However, the signaling cross talk between G. elata and Armillaria strains is still unclear. During our experiment, we found that the vegetative mycelium of Armillaria gallica 012m grew significantly better in the media containing gibberellic acid (GA3) than the blank control group (BK). To explore the response mechanism, we performed an RNA-sequencing experiment to profile the transcriptome changes of A. gallica 012m cultured in the medium with exogenous GA3. The transcriptome-guided differential expression genes (DEGs) analysis of GA3 and BK showed that a total of 1309 genes were differentially expressed, including 361 upregulated genes and 948 downregulated genes. Some of those DEGs correlated with the biological process, including positive regulation of chromosome segregation, mitotic metaphase/anaphase transition, attachment of mitotic spindle microtubules to kinetochore, mitotic cytokinesis, and nuclear division. These analyses explained that GA3 actively promoted the growth of A. gallica to some extent. Further analysis of protein domain features showed that the deduced polypeptide contained 41 candidate genes of GA receptor, and 27 of them were expressed in our samples. We speculate that GA receptors exist in A. gallica 012m. Comparative studies of proteins showed that the postulated GA receptor domains of A. gallica 012m have a higher homologous correlation with fungi than others based on cluster analysis.

RESUMO

Addressing the energy crisis and environmental pollution necessitates efficient photocatalysts for hydrogen production via water hydrolysis. This study uncovers the potential of a novel photocatalyst - two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) heterojunction. Using density functional theory (DFT), we examined the photocatalytic performance of the two-dimensional WS2/MoSe2 heterojunctions for water splitting. Our findings reveal a direct band gap of 1.65 eV and a type II band structure in the heterojunction. This structure facilitates the separation of electrons and holes in the WS2 and MoSe2 monolayers, thereby significantly inhibiting electron-hole recombination. Furthermore, high optical absorption coefficient (105 cm - 1), small effective mass of electron(hole), low interlayer barrier, and adjustable band-edge stress in the heterostructure collectively enhance photocatalytic efficiency.

RESUMO

Gastric signet ring cell carcinoma (GSRC) is a special subtype of gastric cancer (GC) associated with poor prognosis, but an in-depth and systematic study of GSRC is lacking. Here, we perform single-cell RNA sequencing to assess GC samples. We identify signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) cells. Microseminoprotein-beta (MSMB) can be used as a marker gene to guide the identification of moderately/poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC). The upregulated differentially expressed genes in SRCC cells are mainly enriched in abnormally activated cancer-related signalling pathways and immune response signalling pathways. SRCC cells are also significantly enriched in mitogen-activated protein kinase and oestrogen signalling pathways, which can interact and promote each other in a positive feedback loop. SRCC cells are shown to have lower cell adhesion and higher immune evasion capabilities as well as an immunosuppressive microenvironment, which may be closely associated with the relatively poor prognosis of GSRC. In summary, GSRC exhibits unique cytological characteristics and a unique immune microenvironment, which may be advantageous for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

RESUMO

Background: Gastrodia elata, known as a rootless, leafless, achlorophyllous and fully mycoheterotrophic orchid, needs to establish symbionts with particular Armillaria species to acquire nutrition and energy. Previous research findings had approved that ethylene (ET) played an important role in plant-fungi interaction and some receptors of ET had been discovered in microorganisms. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the role of ET in the interaction between G. elata and Armillaria species remain unknown. Methods: Exiguous ethephon (ETH) was added to agar and liquid media to observe the morphological features of mycelium and count the biomass respectively. Mycelium cultured in liquid media with exiguous ETH (0.1 ppm, 2.0 ppm, 5.0 ppm) were chosen to perform whole-transcriptome profiling through the RNA-seq technology (Illumina NGS sequencing). The DEGs of growth-related genes and candidate ET receptor domains were predicted on SMART. Results: ETH-0.1 ppm and ETH-2 ppm could significantly improve the mycelium growth of A. gallica 012m, while ETH-5 ppm inhibited the mycelium growth in both solid and liquid media. The number of up-regulated or down-regulated genes increased along with the concentrations of ETH. The growth of mycelia might benefit from the up-regulated expression of Pyr_redox (Pyridine nucleotide-disulphide oxidoreductase), GAL4 (C6 zinc finger) and HMG (High Mobility Group) genes in the ETH-0.1 ppm and ETH-2 ppm. Therefore, the growth of mycelia might be impaired by the down-regulated expression of ZnF_C2H2 and ribosomal protein S4 proteins in the ETH-5 ppm. Seven ET receptor domains were predicted in A. gallica 012m. Based on cluster analysis and comparative studies of proteins, the putative ETH receptor domains of A. gallica 012m have a higher homologous correlation with fungi. Conclusions: The responses of A. gallica 012m to ETH had a concentration effect similar to the plants' responses to ET. Therefore, the number of up-regulated or down-regulated genes are increased along with the concentrations of ETH. Seven ET receptor protein domains were predicted in the genome and transcriptome of A. gallica 012m. We speculate that ETH receptors exist in A. gallica 012m and ethylene might play an important role in the plant-fungi interaction.

RESUMO

Membranes for water remediation require structural stability, efficient operation, and durability. In this work, we used cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) to reinforce hierarchical nanofibrous membranes based on polyacrylonitrile (PAN). Hydrolysis of the electrospun nanofibers (H-PAN) enabled hydrogen bonding with CNC and provided reactive sites for grafting cationic polyethyleneimine (PEI). In a further modification, anionic silica particles (SiO2) were adsorbed on the fiber surfaces, obtaining CNC/H-PAN/PEI/SiO2 hybrid membranes, which developed swelling resistance (swelling ratio of 6.7 compared to 25.4 measured for a CNC/PAN membrane). Hence, the introduced hydrophilic membranes contain highly interconnected channels, they are non-swellable and exhibit mechanical and structural integrity. By contrast with untreated PAN membranes, those obtained after modification displayed high structural integrity and allowed regeneration and cyclic operation. Finally, wettability and oil-in-water emulsion separation tests demonstrated remarkable oil rejection and separation efficiency in aqueous media.

RESUMO

The present study investigated the effects of 2'-5' oligoadenylate synthetase-like (OASL) on the biological functions of stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) cells and tumor formation in nude mice. The differential expression levels of OASL in the different cancer types from TCGA dataset were analyzed using gene expression profiling interactive analysis. Overall survival and the receiver operating characteristic were analyzed using the KM plotter and R, respectively. Furthermore, OASL expression and its effects on the biological functions of STAD cells were detected. The possible upstream transcription factors of OASL were predicted using JASPAR. The downstream signaling pathways of OASL were analyzed using GSEA. Tumor formation experiments were performed to evaluate the effect of OASL on tumor formation in nude mice. The results showed that OASL was highly expressed in STAD tissues and cell lines. OASL knockdown markedly inhibited cell viability, proliferation, migration, and invasion and accelerated STAD cell apoptosis. Conversely, OASL overexpression had the opposite effect on STAD cells. JASPAR analysis revealed that STAT1 is an upstream transcription factor of OASL. Furthermore, GSEA showed that OASL activated the mTORC1 signaling pathway in STAD. The protein expression levels of p-mTOR and p-RPS6KB1 were suppressed by OASL knockdown and promoted by OASL overexpression. The mTOR inhibitor, rapamycin, markedly reversed the effect of OASL overexpression on STAD cells. Additionally, OASL promoted tumor formation and increased tumor weight and volume in vivo. In conclusion, OASL knockdown suppressed the proliferation, migration, invasion, and tumor formation of STAD cells by inhibiting the mTOR signaling pathway.

RESUMO

Nicotiana tabacum (tobacco) has attracted interest as one of the most economically important industrial crops widely cultivated in China, whose dried leaves are popularly consumed medicinally and recreationally by human societies. In this study, five undescribed alkaloids derivatives, isoaspergillines A-E, together with eight known alkaloids, notoamide D, (1R,4S)-4-benzyl-1-isopropyl-2,4-dihydro-1H-pyrazino-[2,1-b]quinazoline-3,6-dione, protuboxepin K, notoamide C, notoamide M, deoxybrevianamide E, cyclo (D-Pro-L-Trp), and versicolamide B, were obtained from the culture of the Nicotiana tabacum-derived fungus Aspergillus versicolor. Their structures were mainly elucidated through comprehensive analyses of spectroscopic data. Bioactivity evaluation of all isolated compounds revealed that isoaspergilline A and notoamide M exhibited anti-TMV activities with IC50 values of 20.0 and 22.8 µM, respectively. Molecular docking suggested that isoaspergilline A and notoamide M were well located into the active site of anti-TMV by interacting with SER138, SER143, and ASN73 residues. This study enlightens the therapeutic potential of the endophytic fungus A. versicolor and it is helpful to find undescribed anti-TMV activity inhibitors, as well as searching for new anti-TMV candidates from natural sources.

RESUMO

With the recent increase in global focus on green energy, the application of thermal infrared remote sensing data for the detection of geothermal anomalies has attracted wide attention as it can overcome the difficulty of using only ground surveying. This study aimed to highlight areas of geothermal anomalies with land surface temperature (LST) time series data in winter derived from thermal infrared remote sensing. To extract LST anomaly areas in the Ruili Basin for geothermal prospecting, nine types of data on the study area in winter during 2014 ~ 2021 from Landsat 8 were analyzed. Landsat 8 LST inversion data based on the mono-window algorithm (MWA) can be used to identify hot springs, volcanoes, and other heat-related phenomena. Superimposing LST anomalies for each cycle through drilling data, excluding the heat island effect, geothermal anomaly regions could be plotted. The results show that the accuracy of MWA LST varied within 2 K, which is acceptable for geothermal energy and higher than those of the radiative transfer equation (RTE) algorithm and MODIS LST products. Three high-LST regions in the southeast of the study area were identified as geothermal anomaly areas (A, B, and C), and region B was further verified through a comprehensive field investigation of geothermal wells, supplemented by the temperature gradient (TG) method. The findings reveal that the distribution of geothermal anomaly areas and high-LST areas are highly consistent with the northeast trending fault structure; faults act as thermal channels and help in accurately detecting local LST anomalies. Overall, the infrared remote sensing method proved to be a valid technique for detecting LST anomalies. Considering the synergy between thermal infrared surface detection and subsurface exploration methods, the identification of known geothermal fields (B) and other possible areas (A and C) has significance in the upscaling of local geologic information to regional prospecting, thus providing a direction for future geothermal research.

RESUMO

Gastrodia elata is an achlorophyllous and fully mycoheterotrophic orchid which obtains carbon and other nutrients from Armillaria species in its life cycle. Many researchers suggested that plant hormones, as signing molecules, play a central role in the plant-fungi interaction. In the process of Armillaria gallica 012 m cultivation, both exogenous indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) distinctly stimulated the growth of mycelia in solid media. The differential expression genes (DEGs) of A. gallica 012 m with IAA versus blank control (BK) and IBA versus BK were investigated. The results showed that more than 80% of DEGs of the IAA group were coincident with the DEGs of the IBA group, and more than half of upregulated DEGs and most of the downregulated DEGs of the IAA group coincided with those DEGs of the IBA group. Above research implied that A. gallica 012 m could perceive IAA and IBA, and possess similar responses and signaling pathways to IAA and IBA. The overlapping differential genes of the IAA group and IBA group were analyzed by GO term, and the results showed that several DEGs identified were related to biological processes including positive regulation of the biological process and biological process. The downregulated NmrA-like and FKBP_C genes might be benefit to the growth of mycelia. Those results can explain that exiguous IAA and IBA improved the growth of A. gallica to some extent. We speculate that IAA and IBA are signaling molecules, and regulate the expression of growth-related genes of A. gallica 012 m by the same signaling pathway.

RESUMO

Prunus tomentosa Thunb. has excellent nutritional, economic, and ornamental values with different fruit color. The red coloration of fruit is determined by anthocyanin pigmentation, which is an attractive trait for consumers. However, the mechanisms underlying fruit color formation in the P. tomentosa cherry are not well understood. In this research, the pigmentation patterns in red-color P. tomentosa (RP) fruit and white-color P. tomentosa (WP) were evaluated. Anthocyanin content in matured RP fruit was significantly abundant compared with WP fruit. Metabolomic profiling revealed that pelargonidin 3-O-glucoside, cyanidin 3-O-rutinoside, and pelargonidin 3-O-rutinoside were the predominant anthocyanin compounds in the RP fruit, while, WP fruit had less anthocyanin compositions and lower level. Then, integrative analyses of transcriptome and metabolome identified 285 significant differentially expressed genes (DEGs) closely related to anthocyanin differentially expressed metabolites (DEMs). Among them, nine genes were involved in anthocyanin biosynthesis, transport and degradation pathway, including four biosynthesis genes (PtPAL1, PtDFR, PtANS, and PtUFGT), two transport genes (PtGST11, PtABC10), and three degradation genes (PtPOD1, PtPOD16, PtPOD73). Transcriptome data and real-time PCR showed that the transcript levels of biosynthesis and transport genes were significantly higher in RP than in WP, especially PtANS, PtUFGT, and PtGST11, suggesting they may play key roles in red-colored fruit formation. Meanwhile, the degradation-related genes PtPOD1/16/73 took on exactly opposite trend, suggesting their potential effects on anthocyanin degradation. These results provide novel insights into color patterns formation mechanisms of cherries fruit, and the candidate key genes identified in anthocyanin biosynthesis, transport and degradation may provide a valuable resource for cherry breeding research in future.

RESUMO

An herbal prescription is usually composed of several herbal medicines. The complex and diverse components bring great challenges to its bioactivity study. To comprehensively analyze the bioactivity of an herbal prescription, a new strategy based on peak-by-peak cutting and knock-out chromatography was proposed. In this strategy, active compounds were screened out via peak-by-peak cutting from an herbal extract, and the influence of a compound on the overall activity of the herbal extract was evaluated by knock-out chromatography. Qiliqiangxin capsule is an herbal prescription composed of 11 herbal medicines for the treatment of chronic heart failure. A total of 71 peaks were collected through peak-by-peak cutting, and each peak was identified by a high-resolution mass spectrum. The bioassay against 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl showed that two types of compounds namely salvianolic acids and caffeoylquinic acids were potent scavengers. Knock-out chromatography suggested that the removal of one single compound had no obvious influence on the overall activity of the Qiliqiangxin capsule. After all the main peaks in the Qiliqiangxin capsule were knocked out, the remaining part still exhibited a potent activity, indicating high activity stability of the Qiliqiangxin capsule. The proposed strategy is helpful for the comprehensive analysis of the bioactivity of other herbal prescriptions.

RESUMO

Purpose: Based on meta-analysis to explore the effect of physical exercise on relieving the anxiety of the elderly. Methods: The retrieval time was published in the domestic and foreign literatures on the effect of physical exercise on the anxiety of the elderly published from 2005 to 2021. The random effects model was used to evaluate the mean standard deviation of the scores of the intervention group on reducing the anxiety level of the elderly before and after the test. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the articles were screened, quality evaluated, and data extracted, and the literature was meta-analyzed by RevMan5.3. Results: In meta-analysis and systematic review, 17 papers finally met the inclusion criteria. After sensitivity analysis, the random effects model (MD = 8.00, 95% CI (6.90, 9.10), Z = 14.23 (P < 0.00001)) and the fixed effects model (MD = 7.71, 95% CI (6.98, 8.43), Z = 20.72 (P < 0.00001)) show that physical exercise has a positive and significant effect on the anxiety of the elderly. Conclusion: Physical exercise plays an important role in reducing the anxiety of the elderly. Therefore, regular physical exercise can be regarded as part of the elderly pension plan, but more high-quality research is needed to further explore the impact of physical exercise on elderly anxiety.

RESUMO

In order to develop an effective flame retardant for poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), a core@double-shell structured magnesium hydroxide@9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide@melamine formaldehyde resin (MH@DOPO@ MF) encapsulated flame retardant was prepared. Its flame retardancy and smoke suppression effects in flexible PVC were investigated. Results show that the PVC/10 wt% MH@DOPO@MF composite has the best flame retardancy and smoke suppression performance in comparison with pure flexible PVC and the PVC/20 wt% MH composite. The limiting oxygen index (LOI) of the PVC/10 wt% MH@DOPO@MF composite was ∼30.8%, achieving a V-1 rating in the UL-94 test. MH@DOPO@MF in PVC remarkably increases the yields of the residual char and drastically decreased the heat release rate (HRR), total heat release (THR), smoke production rate (SPR) and total smoke production (TSP). The mechanical property testing showed that MH@DOPO@MF had slight damage on the tensile strength and elongation at break of PVC. This is ascribed to the synergistic flame-retardant effects of MH coordination with DOPO and MF. The present work demonstrates that the core@double-shell structured microcapsule (MH@DOPO@MF) prepared in this efficient manner has good flame retardancy and smoke suppression, and may provide a candidate flame retardant for applying in flexible PVC.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to determine the risk factors associated with the necessity of laparoscopic scar defect repair for cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP). METHODS: We retrospectively analyzed 237 patients with CSP who were treated by ultrasound-guided suction curettage and/or laparoscopy in our hospital from April 2012 to November 2019. A total of 199 of these patients underwent ultrasound-guided suction curettage without uterine scar defect repair, while 38 of these patients underwent laparoscopic resection and uterine scar defect repair. We analyzed various clinical variables and compared the efficacy of treatment between the two groups. RESULTS: Gestational age, the maximum transverse diameter (MTD) of the gestational sac, myometrial thickness, the operation time, intraoperative blood loss, and the duration of the hospital stay were significantly different between the two groups. Gestational age, the MTD of the gestational sac, and myometrial thickness were independent risk factors for laparoscopic repair. CONCLUSIONS: Gestational age, the MTD of the gestational sac, and myometrial thickness are important factors associated with the necessity for laparoscopic repair of a uterine scar defect.
