RESUMO

Pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory types are the main phenotypes of the macrophage, which are commonly notified as M1 and M2, respectively. The alteration of macrophage phenotypes and the progression of inflammation are intimately associated; both phenotypes usually coexist throughout the whole inflammation stage, involving the transduction of intracellular signals and the secretion of extracellular cytokines. This paper aims to address the interaction of macrophages and surrounding cells and tissues with inflammation-related diseases and clarify the crosstalk of signal pathways relevant to the phenotypic metamorphosis of macrophages. On these bases, some novel therapeutic methods are proposed for regulating inflammation through monitoring the transition of macrophage phenotypes so as to prevent the negative effects of antibiotic drugs utilized in the long term in the clinic. This information will be quite beneficial for the diagnosis and treatment of inflammation-related diseases like pneumonia and other disorders involving macrophages.

RESUMO

The method using ethanol to evaluate the cellulose insulation aging condition of oil-immersed transformers has been proposed. At present, the dominating method for detecting ethanol in insulating oil is to use headspace-gas-chromatography-mass-spectrometry (HS-GC-MS). However, the problem of quantitative inaccuracy will be sometimes encountered in the actual detection process due to improper instrument parameter setting and improper manual operation. In this study, as an aging marker, ethanol in transformer insulating oil was separated by using VF-624 ms capillary column. The effects of gas-chromatography-mass-spectrometry (GC-MS) optimization conditions, headspace equilibrium temperature, headspace equilibrium time and standard solution preparation method on the determination of ethanol content in oil were discussed, and optimized measures were proposed. The experimental results showed that the measurement can be more accurate under the headspace temperature of 80 °C and the headspace time of 40 min, and relative standard deviation percentage (RSD%) could reach to 4.62% under this condition. It was also pointed out that, for the preparation of standard solution, the method which controlled the sampling volume of anhydrous ethanol by microliter syringe could make the peak area of ethanol chromatogram have a better linear relationship with the standard curve. Under the similar linear range, the goodness of fitting curve without diluting process could be as high as 0.9993, while the method of preparing the stock solution and diluting stepwise to obtain the fitting curve only had a goodness of 0.9910. The method was validated by standard addition recovery test, and the recovery values obtained were between 90.3% and 95.8%. The optimized method is of great significance for the measurement of ethanol dissolved in insulating oil.

RESUMO

The operating temperature and the ampacity are important parameters to reflect the operating state of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) submarine high voltage (HV) cables, and it is of great significance to study the electrothermal coupling law of submarine cable under the seawater flow field. In this study, according to the actual laying conditions of the submarine cable, a multi-physical coupling model of submarine cable is established based on the electromagnetic field, heat transfer field, and fluid field by using the COMSOL finite element simulation software. This model can help to analyze how the temperature and ampacity of the submarine cable are affected by different laying methods, seawater velocity, seawater temperature, laying depth, and soil thermal conductivity. The experimental results show that the pipe laying method can lead to the highest cable conductor temperature, even exceeding the maximum heat-resistant operating temperature of the insulation, and the corresponding ampacity is minimum, so heat dissipation is required. Besides, the conductor temperature and the submarine cable ampacity have a linear relationship with the seawater temperature, and small seawater velocity can significantly improve the submarine cable ampacity. Temperature correction coefficients and ampacity correction coefficients for steady-state seawater are proposed. Furthermore, the laying depth and soil thermal conductivity have great impact on the temperature field and the ampacity of submarine cable, so measures (e.g., artificial backfilling) in areas with low thermal conductivity are needed to improve the submarine cable ampacity.

RESUMO

It is a fact that the frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS) curve at different temperatures can be corrected by the shift factor (αT) extracted from the master curve. However, the αT and master curve reported by previous works are distinctive due to the difference in the construction algorithm. Therefore, it is of great significance to report a universal approach for extracting αT. In this work, the unaged oil-immersed pressboards with different moisture content (mc%) are firstly prepared and selected as the research specimen. Then, the αT of FDS curves on the above pressboard is extracted based upon the master curve technique. The influence mechanism under the various test temperature (T) and mc% is therefore analyzed so as to establish a universal model for predicting the αT. The present findings reveal that the αT value extracted from FDS curves is both temperature-dependent and moisture-dependent. In addition, the predicted αT is not only suitable for temperature correction on FDS curve of same type pressboard with different insulation conditions (moisture contents and aging degrees), but also maintains considerable accuracy when applied to different types of pressboard. Therefore, the obtained conclusions will provide a universal method for temperature correction on FDS curve of transformer polymer insulation.

RESUMO

Partial Discharge (PD) detection based on Ultra-High-Frequency (UHF) measurements in Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) is often used for fault location based on extraction of Time Differences of Arrival (TDoA), and the core technique is to obtain the precise time difference of each UHF signal. Usually, TDoA extraction algorithms can be categorized as cross-correlation function method (CCF), minimum energy method (ME), and threshold value method (TV) are not qualified to analyze the time difference with high accuracy and efficiency, especially the complicated UHF PD signals in the field. In this paper, multiple tests were carried out based on the real GIS UHF signals. Three typical algorithms (CCF, ME, and TV) were used to extract and calculate the TDoA of UHF signals. Afterwards, depending on the disassembly of equipment, the accuracy and effective range of the algorithms are analyzed by means of error and variance. To minimize the error and the variance, an average method with the combination (CA) and portfolio of traditional algorithms is proposed and verified in different situations. The results demonstrate that the improved algorithm could increase the accuracy of time difference extraction, less than 4.0%.

RESUMO

The use of a filter is the most common method to suppress low-frequency discharge current oscillation in Hall thrusters. The only form of filter in actual use involves RLC networks, which serve the purpose of reducing the level of conducted electromagnetic interference returning to the power processing unit, which is the function of a filter. Recently, the role of the filter in the oscillation control was introduced. It has been noted that the filter regulates the voltage across itself according to the variation of discharge current so as to decrease its fluctuation in the discharge circuit, which is the function of a controller. Therefore, a kind of two-stage filter is proposed to fulfill these two purposes, filtering and controlling, and the detailed design methods are discussed and verified. A current oscillation attenuation ratio of 10 was achieved by different capacitance and inductance combinations of the filter stage, and the standard deviation of low-frequency oscillations decreased from 3 A-1 A by the control stage in our experiment.

RESUMO

Octafluorocyclobutane, c-C4F8, and its derivatives are regarded as promising replacements of insulation gaseous SF6, which are currently widely used in electric equipment but suffer greatly from its greenhouse effect. Based on the recent finding that the dielectric and thermodynamics properties of insulating gases are greatly dependent on the molecule's microscopic electronic and vibrational parameters, in this work, we use density functional theory (DFT) to study the molecular structures, electron affinities, and IR-active vibrational frequencies as well as thermodynamic properties for c-C4F8 and a series of mono-, di-substituted c-C4F8 compounds. It is shown that DFT calculation of perfluoro-compounds is sensitive to the chosen functional. Although all chloro-substituted c-C4F8 molecules are found to have much larger electron affinities, only part of them have less IR intensity in the atmospheric IR "window" than c-C4F8. Such a study provides useful guideline for the pre-screening search for new insulation gases via electronic structure calculations.
