RESUMO

Human genetic variants can influence the severity of symptoms being infected with SARS-COV-2. Several genome-wide association studies have identified human genomic risk SNPs associated with COVID-19 severity. However, the causal tissues or cell types of COVID-19 severity are uncertain and candidate genes associated with these human risk SNPs were investigated in genomic proximity instead of their functional cellular contexts. Here, we compiled regulatory networks of 77 human contexts and revealed those risk SNPs enriched cellular contexts and associated transcript factors, regulatory elements, and target genes. Twenty-one human contexts were identified and grouped into two categories: immune cells and epithelium cells. We further aggregated the regulatory networks of immune cells, epithelium cells, and immune-epithelium crosstalk and investigated their association with risk SNPs regulation. Two genomic clusters, chemokine receptors cluster and OAS cluster, showed the strongest association with COVID-19 severity and different regulations in immune and epithelium contexts. Our findings were supported by analysis on both microarray and whole genome sequencing based GWAS summary statistics.

RESUMO

Objective To analyze the use of the semantic type of the top-level ontology of military medicine in order to find problems with the semantic type framework and make it more scientific and comprehensive. Methods Using data driven method, the frequency with which the semantic type of the top-level ontology of military medicine was used in military medical core concepts was statistically analyzed. Results By ranking the use frequency of the semantic types, the semantic types which had higher or lower frequency, and those that had never been used were analyzed. Conclusion The established semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine is basically consistent with the expression of military medical knowledge and can be constantly updated and improved with the development of military medicine.

RESUMO

An information service platform was constructed for infectious disease epidemic by standard collecting, organizing and systematizing the information of related infectious diseases, which could provide information support service for data store, knowledge share, online education and decision-making. The platform is consisted of special news module, self-developed database module, encyclopedic knowledge module and background management module, and can thus meet the needs of related persons in countries and regions along the One Belt and One Road.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the construction method of semantic types of military medical ontology and to establish a framework for the semantic types of the top-level ontology of military medicine in order to lay the foundation for the construction of military medical ontology and provide support for knowledge organization, knowledge disclosure and knowledge service of military medical information resources. Methods Using the method of document measurement, the core concept set of military medicine was constructed. On the basis of the framework of the top-level semantic types of Unified Medical Language System(UMLS), the semantic type framework was completed by the combination of bottom-up and top-down modes, using semantic analysis and expert consultation. Results By classifying the same kind of knowledge points of military medicine into one semantic type, the hierarchical structure of the semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine was obtained. Conclusion The proposed method is effective and practical for the construction of the semantic types of military medical ontology. The established semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine could reconstruct military medical knowledge and provide the basic framework for the establishment of the semantic relationships of the top-level ontology of military medicine.

RESUMO

After an overall introduction of the novel functions of the CMCI institutional knowledge version developed by Medical Library of Chinese PLA , its coverage of institutions, authors, funds, journals and literature was de-scribed in terms of RDE semantics. The contents in literature were mined and analyzed in depth based on the litera-ture-marked information with the institutions database, funds database, journals database and literature database as their cores, the association of information resources in biomedical field was thus realized. The CMCI institutional knowledge version can be used to search published papers and citations, write citation reports, enforce bibliometric visualization analysis, issue different top-ranked statistical data, push associated information, increase institutional literature management modules, and provide personal literature management and assessment service for different in-stitutions.

RESUMO

An integrated retrieval platform for online biomedical literature citations with the functions of one-stop retrieval, automatic removal of duplications, automatic grouping, and rapid output of standard citation report, was constructed on the basis of CMCI, with the C/S structure as its model and the NET framework as its development platform, in order to solve the problems of different citation databases in our library, such as inconsistent retrieval methods, inconsistent displaying methods of retrieval outcomes, and non-standard citation description, which can thus improve the efficiency of searching and citing biomedical literature.
