RESUMO

Objective@#To evaluate the efficacy of ultraviolet light in influenza B prevention and control in schools in Yantian District of Shenzhen in winter, and to provide a reference for preventing and controlling influenza B in schools.@*Methods@#Multistage stratified cluster sampling was conducted. Ultraviolet irradiance was detected in 98 classes of 11 schools. The irradiance of different distances under each ultraviolet lamp were measured. Correlational analysis was conducted with influenza cases reported by Shenzhen Student Health Surveillance System.@*Results@#A total of 473 ultraviolet lamps were detected, the qualified rate was 53.91%. The effective distance from the lamp corresponding power supply to efficient irradiance was (1.43±0.54)m. The total effective irradiance volume per unit time of each class was(13.65±32.66)m3. Totally 599 influenza cases in 74 classes were reported, with incidence rate of 13.76%. Fifty-eight classes reported influenza clustering, accounting for 59.18%. Average duration of the epidemic was(14.5±25.25)d. Spearman correlation analysis showed that the proportion of irradiance volume per unit time in classroom volume was negatively correlated with class influenza incidence(r=-0.32, P=0.00), but not significant with duration of influenza epidemic(P=0.78). Covariance analysis showed that the incidence of influenza and the duration of influenza epidemic in classes was not significantly correlated with the proportion of irradiance volume per class per unit time in classroom volume (P>0.05).@*Conclusion@#Ultraviolet light might not effectively reduce the incidence rate of influenza B and the duration of influenza epidemic in schools in Yantian District of Shenzhen over 2017-2018 winter.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To filtrate and prove the different microRNAs (miRs) profiles in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.@*METHOD@#Screening the different expressions of miRs between nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the inflammatory tissues by the application of expression profiling of chip high-throughput and large-scale microarray analysis. Then we used RT-QPCR technology to prove the accuracy of screening results.@*RESULT@#There were significant expression differences of miRs between nasopharyngeal carcinoma and the control tissues, 144 human miRs had 2 or more fold the difference ratio. Compared with the inflammatory tissues, we have found that miRs-34b, miRs-449b and miRs-7-1 significantly low expressed in nasopharyngeal carcinoma, yet miRs-125b, miRs-184, miRs-196b, miRs-205 and miRs-24-1 expressed high. The results were consistent with the microarray analysis.@*CONCLUSION@#The difference expressed miRs might be closely related to the process of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and the research on miRs profiles maybe provide a powerful target basis for early diagnosis and therapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

RESUMO

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of fluticasone propionate ointment in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods A randomized comparative clinical observation was performed in 68 patients with pso-riasis vulgaris, they were divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group of 34 cases was treated with fluticasone propionate ointment and the control group of 34 cases with kenacort-A ointment. The response was evaluated at 6 weeks. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 94.1% and 70.6% in the control group after 6 weeks. There was a significant difference between the two groups in treatment effective rate(P<0.01). Conclusion It is effective and safety for fluticasone propionate ointment in the treatment of psoriasis vulgar-is.

RESUMO

In order to identify novel genes involved in spermatogenesis, testis cDNA samples from Balb/C mice of different postnatal days were hybridized with the whole mouse genome Affymetrix chip to screen the testis-specific genes. The characteristics of the selected genes were analyzed by RT-PCR as well as other bioinformatic tools. A novel differentially expressed testis-specific gene (GenBank Accession No: NM_029042) in the developmental stages of testes was identified, and named TSCPA. Cellular mapping prediction of TSCPA indicated that its protein was probably expressed in nuclei, and one putative domain (aa 332-377) was anchoring domain of cAMP-dependent type II PK. The result of subcellular localization of GFP-TSCPA fusion protein in Cos-7 cells showed that TSCPA protein was expressed in nuclei. RT-PCR analysis revealed that TSCPA was expressed specifically in mouse and human testis. TSCPA gene was expressed weakly in 21-day-old mouse testis and the expression was increased gradually from 38th day to 6th month of mouse testes. No expression of hTSCPA was found in cryptorchidism and Sertoli-cell-only syndrome patients. It was concluded that the expression profile of TSCPA in human and mice indicated that TSCPA might play an important role in spermatogenesis.
