RESUMO

45 cases of childhood extrinsic asthma (CEA) were divided into the treatment group with carboxymethykited starch (CMS) (n=30) and the control group (n=15). The total effective rate of the former was 63% (P

RESUMO

The right ventricular systolic intervals(RSTI)in health neonates were determined in 72 cases within 6 days after delivery. The RSTI of 22 neonates were compared with before and after inspirated oxygen of high concentration (5 1/min.) within 24 hrs after delivery. Every paremeter of RSTI in each group was contrasted with those of other group in differnt times(or days)The main appearances were significantly, such as shortness of RPEP, prologation of RVET, RPEP/RVET and RICT/RVET decreased. It showed that the right ventricular load was decreased. The ratio among RPEP/RVET, RICT/RVET and neonatal daily age was minus relationship by double curve regression analysis(p

RESUMO

The levels of plasma immunoreactive atrial natriuretic polypeptide (ir-ANP) were determined by radioimmunoassay in 59 children with congenital heart disease (CHD). It was showed that the ir-ANP levels of the patients with left to right shunt were higher than those of control (P0.05). The iir-ANP levels of patients with HYHA II degree were increased significantly (P

RESUMO

Sixty-one healthy children, aged 4 to 12 years, were divided into two groups and examined with 21 cardiac function parameters. They included ejection function (SV, CO, and SVI), systolic function (EF, △D%, MVCF, ESV and △T%), dia-stolic function (EFV, EPSS, EDV)and systolic time interval (LPEP, LVET, LICT, LPEP/LVET,LICT/LVET,RPEP, RVET, RICT, RPEP/RVET and RICT/RVET). Signification of progressive retrogradation analysis with children's age, sex, body surface and heart rate was evaluated respectively.

RESUMO

Twenty-five children with cardiac failure were treated with the mainte-nance small dosage(0.01 mg/kg/day). The serum digoxin concentration was identified by periodic 125 I-digoxin radioimmunoassay and monitored by EKG. partial symptoms of cardiac failure improved after 24 hrs. A large number of the patients got better significantly 3-5 days later and cardiac failure was controlled. The serum digoxin concentration was 0.815?0.1 ng/mg after 24 hrs, then elevated gradually. The range of serum concentration was about 0.664-1.187 ng/ ml from the 4th on to the 4th week after medication. The mean concentration of serum digoxin in two patients was 0.835 ?0.163 ng/ml in 12 wks.No toxicity symptoms were found except in 2 cases with precardiac beat. The authors suggest that persisted serum digoxin concentration in about 1 ng/ ml is safe and effective. Thus, it is considered that this method could be applied to not very ill children of all ages in OPD where no satisfactory observation can be made.

RESUMO

Digoxin was administered to young dogs orally so as to determine concentration of serum digoxin by means of periodic radioimmunoassay followed by clinical observation and EKG changes.Dogs were divided into four groupsshigher and lower maintenances groups ("HM" "LM")and lower and higher saturation groups("LS" "HS") .Serum concentration level of "LM" and "HM" groups rose to the peak in 3-6 days after digoxin administration. The stable serum level reached 0.63?0.32 ng/ml and 0.67?0.07 ng/ml.The peak of serum concentration in "LS" and "HS" groups appeared in 2 hours after medication and persisted for 24 hours, then declining to a level of 1.39?0.13 ng/ml and 1.58?0.09 ng/ml with relative stability, with the exception of a few samples which exceeded 3 ng/ml, being more as in "HS".According to the experimental results dosage of digoxin for children was discussed.
