RESUMO

BACKGROUND:Nowadays, there are increasing reports on the digitization and visualization system of acupuncture points for adults in traditional Chinese medicine, and the digitization and visualization system of acupuncture points for children in traditional Chinese medicine and the simulation system of acupuncture manipulation for Mongolian medicine training have been reported. However, there are no reports on relevant systems for children in Mongolian medicine. OBJECTIVE:To develop a simulation system of acupuncture points for children in Mongolian medicine,in the hope that it can be used for clinical teaching, manipulation practice and research on acupuncture safety. METHODS:Based on the tomographic anatomical dataset of preschool boys,a three-dimensional(3D)digital virtual anatomical model of children with multiple internal organs and tissues was constructed by using PhotoShop.2021 and Digihuman Reconstruction System software. The relevant annotation information database of 27 acupoints such as Dinghui acupoint of Mongolian medicine was compiled by the Unity database language. The Mongolian gold needle and silver needle were selected to record the acupuncture point teaching video on the 3D printed head and neck resin model of children. In Unity3D software, children's anatomical model, acupoint annotation information database and acupuncture operation video were integrated and coded, and a 3D digital children's Mongolian acupuncture acupoint visualization system integrating simulation acupuncture training, clinical teaching and acupuncture safety research was successfully created. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:This study was based on real children's specimens. In order to reduce the error of two-dimensional segmentation, the manual layer-by-layer segmentation section image method was used to ensure the accuracy of the 3D model to the greatest extent. The Digihuman Reconstruction System was used to extract and save the individual segmentation data while maximizing the accuracy of the 3D model.PhotoShop.2021 software was used to complete the 3D reconstruction of the outer skin of the head and neck of children and the internal bony structure, cervical spinal cord, blood vessels and nerves, muscles and ligaments. After 3D reconstruction, the basic morphology of each independent structure and the integrity of the overall contour were verified in MeshLab software and the final fine adjustment and anatomical position confirmation were conducted using 3-matic research 13.0 software. The real anatomical morphology of the head and neck of preschool children was successfully simulated and restored.Unity3D software was used to integrate the 3D model of children, acupuncture operation video and acupoint annotation database, and the 3D digital Mongolian acupuncture acupoint visualization system for children was successfully constructed.Based on the real continuous fault ultra-thin dataset of preschool boys in China,China's first 3D digitization and visualization system of acupuncture points in the head and neck of children in Mongolian medicine was developed.Compared with the previous acupuncture soft works, this system is more suitable for the anatomical morphological development characteristics of Asian children, and has a high value of application in the fields of research on the safety of acupuncture in Mongolian medicine, clinical teaching and acupuncture simulation training.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:The calcaneus is located in the lower posterior part of the foot and is heavily stressed.Calcaneus is complex and irregular in shape, surrounded by thin cortical bone and filled with a large number of trabeculae. The study of the microstructure, movement, and distribution of trabeculae is helpful to improve the understanding of calcaneus fracture. OBJECTIVE:The image data of calcaneus were obtained by scanning the calcaneus specimens with micro-computed tomography, and the structure of trabecular bone in calcaneus was analyzed to explore the morphology, distribution and structural characteristics of trabecular bone in calcaneus. METHODS:Dry adult calcaneus specimens were continuously scanned by micro-computed tomography, and the images were obtained after scanning and stored in DICOM format.Image data were imported into Hiscan Analyzer software to display clear and complete images of the sagittal plane, coronal plane, and the horizontal plane of the adult calcaneus. The trabecular movement of bone was observed layer by layer.According to the trabecular movement characteristics, the sagittal plane of the calcaneus was divided into six parts.A 49-mm2 region of interest was selected for each part at the same thickness as 7 mm.The three-dimensional microstructure of calcaneus and trabecular bone was obtained after three-dimensional reconstruction. After binarization, the volume fraction, surface density, trabecular thickness, trabecular space, and trabecular number parameters of the trabecular bone in the region of interest were calculated by software. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)The cortical layer of the calcaneus was very thin and filled with a large amount of cancellous bone, and the cortical layer of the horn of Gissane was obviously thickened.(2)The trabecular volume fraction in the upper part of the calcaneus was greater than that in the anterior part of the lower part of the calcaneus, the central triangle, the posterior part of the lower part of the calcaneus, and the base of the calcaneus, and the trabecular volume fraction in the tubercle of the calcaneus was greater than that in the anterior part of the lower part of the calcaneus, the central triangle, the posterior part of the lower part of the calcaneus, and the base of the calcaneus. The surface density of the trabecular bone in the tubercle of the calcaneus was higher than that in the front of the lower calcaneus, the middle triangle area, and the bottom of calcaneus, and the surface density of the trabecular bone in the upper part of calcaneal bone, and the lower part of the calcaneus was higher than that in the middle triangle area. The thickness of the trabecular bone in the upper part of the calcaneus was greater than that in the tubercle of the calcaneal bone. The bone trabecular space in the middle triangle was larger than that in the upper part of the calcaneus and calcaneal tubercles. The number of bone trabeculae in the calcaneal tubercles was greater than that in the middle triangle area.(3)These results indicate that the trabeculae of rod bone were mainly distributed in the middle triangle area. The surface density of trabeculae was the smallest, the volume fraction was smaller, and the space between trabeculae was the largest. This part of the bone is relatively loose. The compression resistance is poor when subjected to high impact. The trabecular bone fractures first occur, which is a prone site for fractures.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:As a unique structure of the cervical spine, the occurrence, development and progression of the uncovertebral joint directly affect the stability and range of motion of the cervical spine, and are also closely related to the pathogenesis of cervical spondylosis.A thorough understanding of the developmental characteristics of the uncovertebral joint is of great significance for the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of cervical spondylosis. OBJECTIVE:By using imaging and three-dimensional reconstruction technology to measure and observe the cervical uncinate process-related angle in a large sample of different age groups, the aim is to reveal the characteristics of its changes with age and vertebral growth,as well as its relationship with cervical spine stability. METHODS:Using a retrospective research design,we collected 1 447 cases of raw CT imaging data that meet the study requirements for complete cervical spine segments. The raw data were imported into Mimics 21.0 software in DICOM format for post-processing and measurement of angle of uncinate process and sagittal angle of uncinate process. The data were grouped based on gender, age, and side. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)With the increase of vertebral sequence, the angle of uncinate process increased in a V-shaped shape, and the lowest peak was at C5.The overall population showed a sharp peak with the increase of age,and the peak value mostly occurred in the age range of 30-39 years.(2)The sagittal angle of the uncinate process increased like a fishhook with the increase of the vertebral sequence, and the overall angle of the uncinate process increased with age,and the peak value mostly occurred in the age range of 20-29 years. The uncinate process angle and sagittal angle showed only partial significant differences between sides and genders(P<0.05).(3)It is concluded that the angle of the uncinate process increased with the increase of vertebral sequence in a V-shaped manner. The sagittal angle of the uncinate process increases like a fish hook with increasing vertebral order, while the two angles generally peak with increasing age.The angle of the uncinate process is about 131°,which may be closely related to the stability of the cervical spine, while the sagittal angle of the uncinate process is about 14°,and its function may play a certain role in limiting the excessive rotation of the cervical spine.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory disease with chronic rheumatic immunity.Soft tissue ossification and fusion and spinal stiffness can cause biomechanical changes. OBJECTIVE:To reconstruct the lumbar-sacral intervertebral disc in ankylosing spondylitis patients with lumbar kyphosis by finite element analysis, and to study the range of motion of each segment of T11-S1 and the biomechanical characteristics of annulus fibrosus and nucleus pulposus. METHODS:The imaging data were obtained from an ankylosing spondylitis patient with lumbar kyphosis. The original CT image data of continuously scanned spine were imported into Mimics 21.0 in DICOM format, and T11-S1 was reconstructed respectively. The established model was imported into 3-Matic software in the format of"Stl"to reconstruct the intervertebral disc, and the fibrous intervertebral disc model was obtained. The improved model was further imported into Hypermesh software, and the vertebra, nucleus pulposus, annulus fibrosus and ligament were mesh-divided.After the material properties were given, the model was imported into ABAQUS software to observe the range of motion of each vertebral body in seven different working conditions of T11-S1,and analyze the biomechanical characteristics of each segment of annulus fibrosus and nucleus pulposus. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)The range of motion of L1 vertebrae was higher than that of other vertebrae under six different working conditions:extension, forward flexion, rotation(left and right),and lateral flexion(left and right). The maximum range of motion was 2.18° during L1 vertebral flexion, and the minimum range of motion was 0.12° during L5 vertebral extension.(2)The annular fiber flexion at L2-L3 segments was greater than the extension(P<0.05),and the annular fiber flexion at L3-L4 and L4-L5 segments was less than the extension(P<0.05).The left rotation of L1-L2 annular fibers was greater than the right rotation(P<0.05).The left flexion of the annulus was greater than the right flexion in L1-L2,L2-L3,L3-L4,L4-L5 and L5-S1 segments(P<0.05).(3)The nucleus pulposus stresses of T11-L12,L1-L2,L2-L3,L3-L4 and L4-L5 segments in forward flexion were greater than in extension(P<0.05).The left rotation of T12-L1 and L3-L4 segments was smaller than the right rotation(P<0.05),and that of T11-T12,L1-L2,and L2-L3 segments was larger than the right rotation(P<0.05).The left flexion was larger than the right flexion in the T11-S1 segment.(4)It is concluded that in ankylosing spondylitis patients with lumbar kyphosis, the minimum range of motion of the vertebral body is located at the L5 vertebral body in extension. To prevent fractures,it is recommended to avoid exercise in the extension position.During the onset of lumbar kyphosis in patients with ankylosing spondylitis, the maximum stress of the annulus fibrosus and nucleus pulposus is located in the L1-L2 segment, which is fixed and will not alter with the change of body position. The late surgical treatment and correction of deformity should focus on releasing the pressure of the annulus fibrosus and nucleus pulposus in this segment to avoid the rupture of the annulus fibrosus and the injury of the nucleus pulposus.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:Previous brain studies have mostly focused on adults and fetuses, and the developmental characteristics of young children's brainstems have rarely been studied. OBJECTIVE:To observe the brainstem development characteristics of healthy young children and to explore the age-related differences and their correlation with sex. METHODS:From January 2019 to April 2022,a retrospective study of 3.0T MRI images of 174 children aged 2 to 6 years in the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University was conducted, and the median sagittal diameter, area and angle of the brainstem(including midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata)were measured. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There is an age-related increase in the anterior and posterior diameters of the midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata in the 2-5 years old group as well as in the longitudinal diameter and area of the midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata in the 2-6 years old group.Except for the longitudinal diameter of the medulla oblongata, all others show a positive correlation with age(r>0,P<0.05).In the 2-3 years old group and 4-5 years old group, the children are in the rapid growth and development stage, and these two age groups can be used as the key observation indicators for the development of young children. The anterior-posterior diameter, longitudinal diameter, area of the pons and total brainstem area are strongly correlated with age, which can be used as the key observation indicators for the brainstem development in young children.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:Ankylosing spondylitis is a progressive inflammation of spinal stiffness deformity caused by tissue ossification and fibrosis. The posture of ankylosing spondylitis patients is abnormal and their activities are limited that minor injuries can lead to thoracolumbar fractures.Traditional medical image observation limits doctors'preoperative decision planning and postoperative disease prevention for ankylosing spondylitis treatment. OBJECTIVE:Based on the spinal model of ankylosing spondylitis patients before and after posterior spinal cancellous ossification osteotomy("Y"osteotomy for short),to explore the biomechanical changes of"Y"osteotomy and fixation in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis. METHODS:Based on the preoperative and postoperative CT images of an ankylosing spondylitis patient who went to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University,a three-dimensional spine model(T11-S1)before and after"Y"osteotomy(L3 osteotomy)was reconstructed in Mimics 19.0 software.A 7.5 Nm torque was applied to the top of T11 vertebral body to simulate the movement of the spine under six conditions:flexion, extension, left bending, right bending, left rotation and right rotation. Finally, the range of motion of each vertebral body, the stress of each intervertebral disc, and the stress of the screw rod system were simulated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)After"Y"type osteotomy and posterior fixation, the range of motion of all vertebrae in the spine decreased, and the loss rate of upper vertebrae was large(L1:77.95%).(2)The maximum stress of the spinal intervertebral disc before operation occurred at the L1-L2 segment(0.55 MPa),and the maximum stress of the spinal intervertebral disc after operation occurred at the T11-T12 segment(0.50 MPa),and the stress of intervertebral disc below T12 was far less than that before operation.(3)The maximum stress of the screw rod system(166.67 MPa)occurred in the upper and middle segments of the rod body and the root of the pedicle screw.(4)In conclusion, the"Y"type posterior fixation operation enhances the stability of the spine and reduces the range of motion of the spine. The vertebral body decompression of the fixed segment is great and the stress-shielding phenomenon of the lower vertebral body is significant. The stiffness of the rod body and the stress concentration area of the pedicle screw should be strengthened to avoid the fracture of the rod caused by stress fatigue.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:The lower cervical vertebral pedicle is the main stress site of the posterior column of the spine, which is of great significance for the maintenance of the stability of the human center of gravity and the reduction of shock. At present, there are few reports on the characteristics of the internal bone trabeculae, and the characteristics of the joint site of the vertebral pedicle with the articular process and the vertebral body.It is urgent to understand the fine anatomical structure of the vertebral pedicle and the relationship and function of each part. OBJECTIVE:To observe the microanatomical morphology of the vertebral pedicle by Micro-CT scanning of cervical vertebra specimens, and to measure and analyze the microstructure and morphometric parameters of the bone trabecula in the cervical pedicle under normal conditions to evaluate the safety performance of the cervical spine. METHODS:Micro-CT scanning was performed on 31 sets of cervical vertebrae C3-C7.By checking and reconstructing the areas of interest in the bone trabecular within the vertebral pedicle, the morphological characteristics and distribution direction of the bone trabecular within the cervical pedicle were observed, and the bone microstructure parameters were detected, and the differences in the bone microstructure of the C3-C7 vertebral pedicle were analyzed and compared. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)The Micro-CT images showed that the honeycomb bone trabeculae of the pedicle of the lower cervical spine presented a complex network of microstructures. The trabeculae near the cortical bone were lamellar and relatively compact, extending forward toward the vertebral body and backward toward the articular process lamina.Abatoid bone trabeculae extended into the medullary cavity and transformed into a network structure, and then into rod-shaped bone trabeculae. The rod-shaped bone trabeculae were sparsely distributed in the medullary cavity.(2)Statistical results of morphological parameters of bone trabeculae showed that bone volume fraction values in C4 and C5 were higher than that in C7(P<0.05).The bone surface/bone volume value in C7 was higher than that in C3,C4 and C6(P<0.05).The bone surface density of bone trabeculae in C7 was higher than that in C3,C4,C5 and C6(P<0.05).Trabecular thickness in C7 was higher than that in C3,C4 and C5(P<0.05).Bone surface/bone volume and bone surface density of the left pedicle bone trabecular were greater than those on the right side(P<0.05).(3)The microstructural changes of C3-C7 were summarized,in which the load capacity and stress of the C7 pedicle were poor, and the risk of injury was high in this area.

RESUMO

Leucocalocybe mongolica is a known medicinal mushroom in China. It possesses many biological activities. This study investigated the effect of L. mongolica petroleum ether and water extracts (200, 500, and 1,000 mg/kg BW) on mammary gland differentiation during lactation. However, prolactin, growth hormone, progesterone, and estrogen levels were determined in serum by ELISA assay. Immunofluorescence, western blot, and real-time PCR were utilized to evaluate the expression levels of ß-casein, α-Lactalbumin, prolactin receptor, progesterone receptor, and STAT-5a. The immunohistochemistry staining was used to detect the presence of steroid receptors. The results showed that petroleum ether and water extracts increased milk yield and milk content of calcium, total fat, total carbohydrate, and total protein. Prolactin and growth hormone levels were significantly upregulated in all treated groups compared with the control group. In contrast, progesterone and estrogen were downregulated. The high doses of petroleum ether and water extracts increased the expression levels of ß-Cas, α-Lactalb, PRLR, PR, and STAT-5a. The observation of histological sections showed that the extracts induced higher mammary gland differentiation than the control group. This study is the first to use mushrooms as nutritional supplements to improve milk production and mammary gland differentiation during lactation.

RESUMO

Objective:To investigate the changes of skeletal muscle-derived microparticles (SKMPs) and their scaving proteins lactadherin in peripheral blood of patients with perihip fractures and their effects on blood coagulation. It provides a theoretical basis for clinical evaluation of hypercoagulability in patients with perioperative hip fractures. Methods:A total of 44 patients (72.87±13.9 years old) with perihip fractures from October 2020 to January 2021 were included in the fracture group, and 40 healthy people were included in the group without fracture. Activated clotting time (ACT) in fracture group and control group was measured by coagulation and platelet function analyzer. The level of SKMPs in peripheral venous blood was determined by flow cytometry. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the levels of MPs scaving proteins lactadherin in peripheral blood of fracture group and control group. Results:A total of 44 patients with perihip fractures were included. There were 33 (75%) femoral neck fractures and 11 (25%) intertrochanteric fractures. SKMPs concentration in peripheral blood of perihip fracture group 175.73/μl; postoperative fracture group 124.28/μl; Normal control group 90.69/μl. ACT was (377.5±76.2) s in the perihip fracture group, (498.1±97.1) s in the post-fracture group, and (505.7±44.0) s in the control group. Correlation analysis showed that there was a linear relationship between SKMPs count and ACT value in fracture patients ( r=-0.52, P<0.001). There was no significant correlation between SKMPs concentration and ACT value in peripheral venous blood of the post-fracture group ( P>0.05); Lactadherin protein concentration in perihip fracture group: 2 779.61 pg/ml; Fracture postoperative group 1 985.38 pg/ml; Normal control group 1 651.19 pg/ml. There is a positive correlation between Lactadherin concentration and SKMPs concentration with a correlation coefficient of 0.70. Conclusion:SKMPs plays a role in the hypercoagulability of patients with perihip fractures. Decompensation of lactadherin protein may be one of the causes of perioperative hypercoagulation in patients with hip fractures.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Lymph node ratio (LNR) has been suggested to be an effective prognostic tool for stratifying non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cases. In this study, we sought to determine cancer-specific survival (CCS) of NSCLC cases from the SEER registry and used the X-tile method to optimize CCS-based LNR cut-off points for prognostic stratification of node-positive NSCLC. METHODS: CSS and other clinicopathologic variables were retrieved from the SEER registry. Kaplan-Meier methods were used to calculate CSS. The optimal cut-off points for LNR classification were determined by the X-tile approach. Multivariate Cox regression analysis was performed to identify independent risks of CSS. RESULTS: Totally 11,341 lung cancer patients were included. Their median CSS was 22 months (range 0,143). The median LNR was 0.22 (Q1,Q3: 0.11, 0.50). X-tile analysis showed that the optimal LNR cut-off points were 0.28 and 0.81, dividing the cohort into low (LNR1 ≤ 0.28; n = 6580, 58%), middle (0.28 < LNR2 < 0.81; n = 3025, 26.7%), and high (LNR3 > 0.81; n = 1736, 15.3%) subsets. Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that patients with a low LNR had a significantly higher CCS versus patients with middle or high LNR (P < 0.001). Multivariate competing risks regression analysis revealed that LNR was an independent and significant adverse predictor of CSS (LNR2 vs. LNR1: SHR: 1.56, 95%CI: 1.47,1.67, P < 0.001; LNR3 vs. LNR1: SHR: 2.54, 95%CI: 2.30,2.80, P < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: LNR is an independent prognostic factor of node-positive NSCLC and its optimal cut-off values established using the robust x-tile method effectively define subpopulations of node-positive NSCLC cases, which is important in guiding selection of treatment strategies clinically.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND@#There is a certain correlation between vitamin nutritional status and cancer patients. Studies have shown that vitamin deficiency increases the risk of cancer. The purpose of this study is to understand the vitamin D nutritional status of cancer patients and to provide scientific basis for further nutritional intervention.@*METHODS@#Cancer patients who visited Shandong Cancer Hospital from July 2017 to June 2019 were included in this retrospective study. Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] concentrations were measured. Univariate analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were carried out using SPSS 20.0.@*RESULTS@#A total of 2,487 cancer patients were evaluable for this analysis. Mean 25(OH)D concentration was (12.70±6.82) ng/mL; the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency [25(OH)D concentration less than 20.00 ng/mL] was of 92.20%. In univariate analysis, age, body mass index (BMI), season and types of cancer were associated with 25(OH)D concentrations. In the multivariate analysis, BMI (β=0.71), age (β=-0.56), season (β=-0.99 for winter; β=-0.76 for autumn vs summer) and types of cancer (β=-1.17 for lung cancer; β=-1.45 for esophageal-gastric cancer; β=-1.05 for colorectal cancer vs other types of cancer) were independently and significantly associated with 25(OH)D levels (P<0.05).@*CONCLUSIONS@#Vitamin D deficiency was highly prevalent among cancer patients. Age, BMI, season and types of cancer may be associated with 25(OH)D levels, which indicate that monitoring of vitamin D level for cancer survivor should be taken into account.

RESUMO

@#Objective: Contact tracing has been used in China and several other countries in the WHO Western Pacific Region as part of the COVID-19 response. We describe COVID-19 cases and the number of contacts traced and quarantined per case as part of COVID-19 emergency public health response activities in China. Methods: We abstracted publicly available, online aggregated data published in daily COVID-19 situational reports by China’s National Health Commission and provincial health commissions between 20 January and 29 February 2020. The number of new contacts traced by report date was computed as the difference between total contacts traced in consecutive reports. A proxy for the number of contacts traced per case was computed as the number of new contacts traced divided by the number of new cases. Results: During the study period, China reported 80 968 new COVID-19 cases and 659 899 contacts. In Hubei Province, there were 67 608 cases and 264 878 contacts, representing 83% and 40% of the total, respectively. Non-Hubei provinces reported tracing 1.5 times more contacts than Hubei Province; the weekly number of contacts traced per case was also higher in non-Hubei provinces than in Hubei Province and increased from 17.2 in epidemiological week 4 to 115.7 in epidemiological week 9. Discussion: More contacts per case were reported from areas and periods with lower COVID-19 case counts. With other non-pharmaceutical interventions used in China, contact tracing and quarantining large numbers of potentially infected contacts probably contributed to reducing SARS-CoV-2 transmission.

RESUMO

ObjectiveAlthough contact tracing is generally not used to control influenza pandemics, China and several countries in the Western Pacific Region employed contact tracing as part of COVID-19 response activities. To improve understanding on the use of contact tracing for COVID-19 emergency public health response activities, we describe reported COVID-19 contacts traced and quarantined in China and a proxy for number of reported contacts traced per reported case. MethodsWe abstracted publicly available online aggregate data reported from Chinas National Health Commission and provincial health commissions COVID-19 daily situational reports for January 20-February 29, 2020. The number of new contacts traced by report date was computed as the difference between total contacts traced on consecutive reports. A proxy for the number of contacts traced per case was computed as the number of new contacts traced divided by the number of new cases. ResultsDuring January 20-February 29, 2020, China reported 80,968 new COVID-19 cases (Hubei Province = 67,608 [83%]), and 659,899 contacts traced (Hubei Province = 265,617 [40%]). Non-Hubei provinces reported more contacts traced per case than Hubei Province; this difference increased over time. DiscussionAlong with other NPI used in China, contact tracing likely contributed to reducing SARS-CoV-2 transmission by quarantining a large number of potentially infected contacts. Despite reporting only 15% of total cases, non-Hubei provinces had 1.5 times more reported contacts traced compared to Hubei Province. Contract tracing may have been more complete in areas and periods with lower case counts.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate changes in intestinal flora in patients with primary Sj?gren syndrome (pSS) and explore the relationship between pSS disease activity and intestinal flora structure.@*METHODS@#Fecal samples were collected from 18 female pSS patients, including 9 patients with active disease (group A) and 9 with disease inactivity or low activity (group B), with 10 healthy subjects as the control group. The total bacterial DNA was extracted from the fecal samples for PCR amplification, and Illumina Hiseq 2500 high-throughput sequencing was performed for the v3-v4 region of 16Sr DNA gene to obtain the biological information of the intestinal flora. The intergroup OTU analysis, structural diversity analysis, significant difference analysis and LEFSE analysis were performed with information mining of the literature think tanks.@*RESULTS@#The dilution curves generated based on the OTUshannon index for analysis of sample complexity showed that the measured data were relatively complete and could reflect the diversity of the microorganisms in the subjects. Analysis of the Alpha diversity index showed that the Shannon index differed significantly between group A and group B, and the Simpson index differed significantly between group A and group B and between group A and the control group ( < 0.05). Sequence analysis the 3 groups all consisted mainly of 4 phylum (, , , showed that the intestinal flora in and ) and 4 genera (, , , and ), all showing no significant differences among the 3 groups ( > 0.05) with the exception of genus, which differed significantly among the 3 groups ( < 0.05). The 16S v3-v4 region in the genus , , , , , , , , , , -, and differed significantly among the 3 groups ( < 0.05). The high-dimensional biometrics and genomic characteristics of the intestinal microorganisms differed significantly among the 3 groups ( < 0.05). According to the size of LDA SCORE (effect size), the core flora in group A included the genera , , -, , -, , , , and , as compared with the genera , , , , , -, , - and in the control group.@*CONCLUSIONS@#Patients with pSS have significant changes in the diversity of intestinal flora, especially in some specific bacteria in genus and in 16S v3-v4 region of the bacteria. The differences in the core bacteria in the intestinal flora of pSS patients suggest the role of flora structure changes in the pathogenesis of pSS.

RESUMO

Pelvic girdle pain and low back pain associated with pregnancy and pregnancy is one of the common diseases of women during pregnancy. Because pregnant women lack comprehensive knowledge of relevant physiopathology, they will mistakenly believe that clinical intervention treatments may have potentially harmful effects on the fetus. Therefore, many pregnant women refused to receive effective medical intervention. However, low back pain during pregnancy is closely related to their daily life. The pain will have a negative impact on the daily life of pregnant women, causing inconvenience and even obstacles in life. All these have caused great harm to the physiology and psychology of pregnant women, and also make the treatment of this disease have broader socio-economic value and significance. In clinical practice, the Kinesiotaping can effectively relieve the symptoms of pregnant women with low back pain during pregnancy. The clinical operation is simple and convenient, and the potential risk is small. In this paper, the research progress in the application of kinesiotaping treatment of low back pain during pregnancy was summarized.

RESUMO

The latest diagnosis and treatment plan (4th edition) of 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia has been issued. The diagnosis and treatment plan highlights the concept of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and Xuebijing injection was referred for three times. Xuebijing injection was successfully developed based on the theory of "three syndromes and three methods". The theory of "three syndromes and three methods" is a theoretical system of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine on critical diseases proposed by Professor Wang Jinda and his team in the 1970s, and it is one of the main contents of Wang Jinda's academic thought. The theory of "three syndromes and three methods" has a deep foundation of traditional Chinese medicine theory, and it is still being continuously enriched and improved. It is also supported by multiple evidence-based data. Therefore, "three syndromes and three methods" has rich theoretical connotation and tenacious vitality.
