BACKGROUND: Mitophagy and ferroptosis occur in intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH) but our understanding of mitophagy and ferroptosis-related genes remains incomplete. AIM: This study aims to identify shared ICH genes for both processes. METHODS: ICH differentially expressed mitophagy and ferroptosis-related genes (DEMFRGs) were sourced from the GEO database and literature. Enrichment analysis elucidated functions. Hub genes were selected via STRING, MCODE, and MCC algorithms in Cytoscape. miRNAs targeting hubs were predicted using miRWalk 3.0, forming a miRNA-hub gene network. Immune microenvironment variances were assessed with MCP and TIMER. Potential small molecules for ICH were forecasted via CMap database. RESULTS: 64 DEMFRGs and ten hub genes potentially involved in various processes like ferroptosis, TNF signalling pathway, MAPK signalling pathway, and NF-kappa B signalling pathway were discovered. Several miRNAs were identified as shared targets of hub genes. The ICH group showed increased infiltration of monocytic lineage and myeloid dendritic cells compared to the Healthy group. Ten potential small molecule drugs (e.g. Zebularine, TWS-119, CG-930) were predicted via CMap. CONCLUSION: Several shared genes between mitophagy and ferroptosis potentially drive ICH progression via TNF, MAPK, and NF-kappa B pathways. These results offer valuable insights for further exploring the connection between mitophagy, ferroptosis, and ICH.

Owing to the significant environmental threat posed by microplastics (MPs) of varying properties, MPs research has garnered considerable attention in current academic discourse. Addressing MPs in river-lake water systems, existing studies have seldom systematically revealed the role of free radicals in the aging/degradation process of MPs. Hence, this review aims to first analyze the pollution distribution and environmental risks of MPs in river-lake water systems and to elaborate the crucial role of free radicals in them. After that, the study delves into the advancements in free radical-mediated degradation techniques for MPs, emphasizing the significance of both the generation and elimination of free radicals. Furthermore, a novel approach is proposed to precisely govern the controlled generation of free radicals for MPs' degradation by interfacial modification of the material structure. Hopefully, it will shed valuable insights for the effective control and reduction of MPs in river-lake water systems.

Toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8), an important innate immune receptor recognizing single stranded RNA and the antiviral imidazoquinoline compounds, can activate intracellular signaling pathway and produce an inflammatory response to kill and eliminate pathogens. However, the molecular regulation mechanisms of TLR8 signaling and its anti-infection activity are not fully elucidated. Our previous transcriptome analysis of porcine TLR8 (pTLR8) signaling suggested the immune checkpoint receptor TIM-3 as the potential regulator for pTLR8. Here we investigated TIM-3 in the regulation of pTLR8 signaling and its anti-infection activity. Our results showed that porcine TIM-3 is upregulated by pTLR8 signaling and TIM-3 inhibits pTLR8 signaling activity in a negative feedback way. Accordingly, TIM-3 disturbs pTLR8 mediated anti-bacterial and anti-viral activity. Mechanistically, TIM-3 suppresses PI3K-AKT pathway by inhibiting the TLR8-PI3K p85 interaction and subsequent AKT phosphorylation which is essential for TLR8 signaling and anti-infection activity. Therefore, our study reveals new insights into innate immune TLR8 signaling and its anti-infection function.

The available information regarding the impact of antimony (Sb), a novel environmental pollutant, on the intestinal microbiota and host health is limited. In this study, we conducted physiological characterizations to investigate the response of adult zebrafish to different environmental concentrations (0, 30, 300, and 3000 µg/L) of Sb over a period of 14 days. Biochemical and pathological changes demonstrated that Sb effectively compromised the integrity of the intestinal physical barrier and induced inflammatory responses as well as oxidative stress. Analysis of both intestinal microbial community and metabolome revealed that exposure to 0 and 30 µg/L of Sb resulted in similar microbiota structures; however, exposure to 300 µg/L altered microbial communities' composition (e.g., a decline in genus Cetobacterium and an increase in Vibrio). Furthermore, exposure to 300 µg/L significantly decreased levels of bile acids and glycerophospholipids while triggering intestinal inflammation but activating self-protective mechanisms such as antibiotic presence. Notably, even exposure to 30 µg/L of Sb can trigger dysbiosis of intestinal microbiota and metabolites, potentially impacting fish health through the "microbiota-intestine-brain axis" and contributing to disease initiation. This study provides valuable insights into toxicity-related information concerning environmental impacts of Sb on aquatic organisms with significant implications for developing management strategies.

African swine fever virus (ASFV) is a large double stranded DNA arbovirus that is highly contagious and seriously endangers domestic and wild pigs. In the past decade, African swine fever (ASF) has spread in many countries in the Caucasus, Russian Federation, Eastern Europe and Asia, causing significant losses to the pig industry. At present, there is a lack of effective vaccine and treatment for ASF. Therefore, the rapid and accurate detection is crucial for ASF prevention and control. In this study, we have developed a portable lateral flow strip (LFS) detection mediated by recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) and CRISPR/LwCas13a, which is performed at 37 ℃ and visualized by eyes without the need for complex instruments. This RPA-LwCas13a-LFS is based on the ASFV structural protein p17 gene (D117L), with a detection sensitivity up to 2 gene copies. This method is highly specific and has no cross reactivity to 7 other pig viruses. In the detection of two batches of 100 clinical samples, the p17 (D117L) RPA-LwCas13a-LFS had 100% coincidence with conventional quantitative PCR (qPCR). These findings demonstrate the potential of this simple, rapid, sensitive, and specific ASFV detection method for on-site ASFV detection.

The prevalence of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus 1 (PRRSV1) isolates has continued to increase in Chinese swine herds in recent years. However, no effective control strategy is available for PRRSV1 infection in China. In this study, we generated the first infectious cDNA clone (rHLJB1) of a Chinese PRRSV1 isolate and subsequently used it as a backbone to construct an ORF2-6 chimeric virus (ORF2-6-CON). This virus contained a synthesized consensus sequence of the PRRSV1 ORF2-6 gene encoding all the envelope proteins. The ORF2-6 consensus sequence shared > 90% nucleotide similarity with four representative strains (Amervac, BJEU06-1, HKEU16 and NMEU09-1) of PRRSV1 in China. ORF2-6-CON had replication efficacy similar to that of the backbone rHLJB1 virus in primary alveolar macrophages (PAMs) and exhibited cell tropism in Marc-145 cells. Piglet inoculation and challenge studies indicated that ORF2-6-CON is not pathogenic to piglets and can induce enhanced cross-protection against a heterologous SD1291 isolate. Notably, ORF2-6-CON inoculation induced higher levels of heterologous neutralizing antibodies (nAbs) against SD1291 than rHLJB1 inoculation, which was concurrent with a higher percentage of T follicular helper (Tfh) cells in tracheobronchial lymph nodes (TBLNs), providing the first clue that porcine Tfh cells are correlated with heterologous PRRSV nAb responses. The number of SD1291-strain-specific IFNγ-secreting cells was similar in ORF2-6-CON-inoculated and rHLJB1-inoculated pigs. Overall, our findings support that the Marc-145-adapted ORF2-6-CON can trigger Tfh cell and heterologous nAb responses to confer improved cross-protection and may serve as a candidate strain for the development of a cross-protective PRRSV1 vaccine.

Coinfections affecting the porcine respiratory system have often been overlooked, in favor of mono-infections, even though they are significantly more common in the field. In pigs, the term 'porcine respiratory complex' is used to describe coinfections involving both viruses, such as, for example, the swine influenza type A virus (swIAV), the porcine respiratory and reproductive syndrome virus (PRRSV), and the porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV-2), as well as bacteria. Until recently, most studies were primarily focused on clinical aspects and paid little attention to the molecular consequences of coinfections. This narrative review addresses the consequences of coinfections in the porcine respiratory system involving viruses. When possible, interactions that can occur between viruses are briefly presented. Conversely, research involving bacteria, protozoa, and fungi has not been considered at all. Finally, the main limitations complicating the interpretation of results from coinfection/superinfection studies are considered, and prospects in this exciting field of health research are presented.

African swine fever (ASF) caused by the African swine fever virus (ASFV) is a fatal and highly contagious disease of domestic pigs characterized by rapid disease progression and death within 2 weeks. How the immune cells respond to acute ASFV infection and contribute to the immunopathogenesis of ASFV has not been completely understood. In this study, we examined the activation, apoptosis, and functional changes of distinct immune cells in domestic pigs following acute infection with the ASFV CADC_HN09 strain using multicolor flow cytometry. We found that ASFV infection induced broad apoptosis of DCs, monocytes, neutrophils, and lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of pigs over time. The expression of MHC class II molecule (SLA-DR/DQ) on monocytes and conventional DCs as well as CD21 expression on B cells were downregulated after ASFV infection, implying a potential impairment of antigen presentation and humoral response. Further examination of CD69 and ex vivo expression of IFN-γ on immune cells showed that T cells were transiently activated and expressed IFN-γ as early as 5 days post-infection. However, the capability of T cells to produce cytokines was significantly impaired in the infected pigs when stimulated with mitogen. These results suggest that the adaptive cellular immunity to ASFV might be initiated but later overridden by ASFV-induced immunosuppression. Our study clarified the cell types that were affected by ASFV infection and contributed to lymphopenia, improving our understanding of the immunopathogenesis of ASFV.

SCOPE: Osteopontin (OPN) is a multifunctional protein naturally present in mammals' milk, associated with immune homeostasis and intestinal maturation. This study aims to investigate the protein digestion pattern and the cellular bioactivity of bovine milk OPN digesta in vitro. METHODS AND RESULTS: A modified INFOGEST static in vitro infant digestion protocol and a Caco-2/HT-29 co-culture cell model are employed to evaluate the digestion properties and the anti-inflammatory effects of OPN. OPN is resistant to gastric hydrolysis but degraded into large peptides during intestinal digestion. Its 10 kDa digesta permeate with predicted extensive bioactivities protects the co-culture cell model from the inflammation-induced dysfunction by dose-dependently recovering the expression of occludin, claudin-3, and ZO-1. Low dosage of OPN significantly decreases the production of IL-8 and IL-6, and downregulates the mRNA and protein expression of MyD88, NF-κB p65, and IκB-α, whereas a high dose evokes a mild pro-inflammatory response. Interestingly, anti-inflammatory effect of OPN digesta is stronger than lactoferrin and whey protein concentrate counterparts. CONCLUSION: The findings demonstrate that the bioactive peptides released from in vitro infant gastrointestinal digestion of bovine milk OPN alleviates intestinal epithelial cell inflammation by inhibiting NF-κB pathway activation and potentiates the barrier function of the intestinal epithelium.

African swine fever (ASF) is a severe haemorrhagic disease caused by the African swine fever virus (ASFV), transmitted by ticks, resulting in high mortality among domestic pigs and wild boars. The global spread of ASFV poses significant economic threats to the swine industry. This study employs diverse analytical methods to explore ASFV's evolution and host adaptation, focusing on codon usage patterns and associated factors. Utilizing phylogenetic analysis methods including neighbour-joining and maximum-likelihood, 64 ASFV strains were categorized into four clades. Codon usage bias (CUB) is modest in ASFV coding sequences. This research identifies multiple factors - such as nucleotide composition, mutational pressures, natural selection and geographical diversity - contributing to the formation of CUB in ASFV. Analysis of relative synonymous codon usage reveals CUB variations within clades and among ASFVs and their hosts. Both Codon Adaptation Index and Similarity Index analyses confirm that ASFV strains are highly adapted to soft ticks (Ornithodoros moubata) but less so to domestic pigs, which could be a result of the long-term co-evolution of ASFV with ticks. This study sheds light on the factors influencing ASFV's codon usage and fitness dynamics, enriching our understanding of its evolution, adaptation and host interactions.

This study investigated the concentration and fractionation of phosphorus (P) using sequential P extraction and their influencing factors by introducing the PLS-SEM model (partial least squares structural equation model) along this continuum from the Qinhuai River. The results showed that the average concentrations of inorganic P (IP) occurred in the following order: urban sediment (1499.1 mg/kg) > suburban sediment (846.1-911.9 mg/kg) > rural sediment (661.1 mg/kg) > natural sediment (179.9 mg/kg), and makes up to 53.9-87.1% of total P (TP). The same as the pattern of IP, OP nearly increased dramatically with increasing the urbanization gradient. This spatial heterogenicity of P along a river was attributed mainly to land use patterns and environmental factors (relative contribution affecting the P fractions: sediment nutrients > metals > grain size). In addition, the highest values of TP (2876.5 mg/kg), BAP (biologically active P, avg, 675.7 mg/kg), and PPI (P pollution index, ≥ 2.0) were found in urban sediments among four regions, indicating a higher environmental risk of P release, which may increase the risk of eutrophication in overlying water bodies. Collectively, this work improves the understanding of the spatial dynamics of P in the natural-rural-urban river sediment continuum, highlights the need to control P pollution in urban sediments, and provides a scientific basis for the future usage and disposal of P in sediments.

Peroxymonosulfate-mediated advanced oxidation processes (PMS-AOPs) degrading organic pollutants (Tetracycline (TC) as an example) in water with singlet oxygen (1O2) as the main reactive oxygen has received more and more attention. However, the generation mechanism of 1O2 is still unclear. Consequently, this study investigates the 1O2 formation mechanism during the activated PMS process using a nitrogen-copper-loaded carbon-based material (Cu0/Cu2O/CuO@N-C), synthesized by thermally decomposing organobase-modified HKUST-1 via a one-pot method. It was discovered that incorporating an organobase (Benzylamine) into the metal organic framework (MOF) precursor directs the MOF's self-assembly process and supplements its nitrogen content. This modification modulates the Nx-Cu-Oy active site formation in the material, selectively producing 1O2. Additionally, 1O2 was identified as the dominant reactive oxygen species in the Cu0/Cu2O/CuO@N-C-PMS system, contributing to TC degradation with a rate of 70.82%. The TC degradation efficiency remained high in the pH range of 3-11 and sustained its efficacy after five consecutive uses. Finally, based on the intermediates of TC degradation, three possible degradation pathways were postulated, and a reduction in the ecotoxicity of the degradation products was predicted. This work presents a novel and general strategy for constructing nitrogen-copper-loaded carbon-based materials for use in PMS-AOPs.

The cost of replacing failed selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalysts and their disposal as hazardous solid waste is high. If failed catalysts are recovered and regenerated into new SCR denitration catalysts, the cost of flue gas denitration can be effectively reduced. However, regenerated SCR catalysts have relatively low structural strength and activity and cannot yet form an effective replacement. In this study, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, aluminum nitrate, and aluminum sulfate were used as structural strengthening agents in the regeneration of SCR catalysts, and over-impregnation, drumming-assisted impregnation, and ultrasonic-assisted preparation techniques were compared. The corresponding regenerated SCR catalysts were then prepared and analyzed for compressive strength, wear strength, H2-TPR, NH3-TPD, and in situ IR. Factors influencing the structural strength, physical properties, and catalytic activity of the regenerated catalysts were investigated. The best results were obtained as follows: compressive strength of 4.57 MPa, wear rate of 0.088% kg-1, and denitration of 58% after 10 min of drumming-assisted impregnation in an aluminum sulfate solution with a concentration of 16%. Based on this, a synergistic method for catalyst activity and structural strengthening was explored to support the design of better SCR catalysts for regeneration.

African swine fever virus (ASFV) is a large double-stranded DNA virus that is highly infectious and seriously affects domestic pigs and wild boars. African swine fever (ASF) has caused huge economic losses to endemic countries and regions. At present, there is still a lack of effective vaccines and therapeutics. Therefore, rapid and accurate detection is essential for the prevention and control of ASF. The portable DNA endonuclease (Cas12a)-mediated lateral flow strip detection method (Cas12a-LFS) combined with recombinant polymerase amplification (RPA) has been gradually recognized as effective for virus detection including ASFV. In this study, based on the ASFV structural protein p17 gene (D117L), an RPA-Cas12a-LFS detection method was established. The detection method exhibits a sensitivity of up to two gene copies and has no cross-reaction with nine other swine viruses. Thus, the method is highly sensitive and specific. In 68 clinical samples, the coincidence rate of the p17 strip was 100%, compared to the traditional quantitative PCR (qPCR). In conclusion, we have developed a simple, rapid, sensitive, and specific ASFV visual detection method and demonstrated the potential of on-site detection of ASFV.

BACKGROUND: Thymic epithelial tumors (TETs) are the most common primary neoplasms of the anterior mediastinum. Different risk subgroups of TETs have different prognosis and therapeutic strategies, therefore, preoperative identification of different risk subgroups is of high clinical significance. This study aims to explore the diagnostic efficiency of quantitative computed tomography (CT) parameters combined with preoperative systemic inflammatory markers in differentiating low-risk thymic epithelial tumors (LTETs) from high-risk thymic epithelial tumors (HTETs). METHODS: 74 Asian patients with TETs confirmed by biopsy or postoperative pathology between January 2013 and October 2022 were collected retrospectively and divided into two risk subgroups: LTET group (type A, AB and B1 thymomas) and HTET group (type B2, B3 thymomas and thymic carcinoma). Statistical analysis were performed between the two groups in terms of quantitative CT parameters and preoperative systemic inflammatory markers. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent predictors of risk subgroups of TETs. The area under curve (AUC) and optimal cut-off values were calculated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. RESULTS: 47 TETs were in LTET group, while 27 TETs were in HTET group. In addition to tumor size and CT value of the tumor on plain scan, there were statistical significance comparing in CT value of the tumor on arterial phase (CTv-AP) and venous phase (CTv-VP), and maximum enhanced CT value (CEmax) of the tumor between the two groups (for all, P < 0.05). For systemic inflammatory markers, HTET group was significantly higher than LTET group (for all, P < 0.05), including platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and systemic immune-inflammation index (SII). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that NLR (odds ratio [OR] = 2.511, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.322-4.772, P = 0.005), CTv-AP (OR = 0.939, 95%CI: 0.888-0.994, P = 0.031) and CTv-VP (OR = 0.923, 95%CI: 0.871-0.979, P = 0.008) were the independent predictors of risk subgroups of TETs. The AUC value of 0.887 for the combined model was significantly higher than NLR (0.698), CTv-AP (0.800) or CTv-VP (0.811) alone. The optimal cut-off values for NLR, CTv-AP and CTv-VP were 2.523, 63.44 Hounsfeld Unit (HU) and 88.29HU, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Quantitative CT parameters and preoperative systemic inflammatory markers can differentiate LTETs from HTETs, and the combined model has the potential to improve diagnostic efficiency and to help the patient management.

Porcine kobuvirus (PKV) is an enteric virus commonly detected in both diarrheic and healthy pigs. Little is known about the role of PKV in enteric diseases. In this study, an epidemiological investigation based on 324 intestinal samples collected from six provinces of China during the period of 2018 to 2022 was performed, and showed that PKV has an overall 65.43% (212/324) positive rate. Noticeably, 89.47% (17/19) of PKV and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) double-positive pigs were clinically diseased, while 91.71% (177/193) of PKV-positive but PEDV-negative pigs were clinically healthy, suggesting that PKV infection in itself is unlikely to cause enteric diseases. In addition, three PKV genomes were obtained from both diseased and healthy pigs. Phylogenetic analysis showed that Chinese PKV strains could be divided into three groups (SH-W-CHN-like, S-1-HUN-like and JXAT2015-like strains). All three obtained PKV genomes belong to SH-W-CHN-like strains and JSYZ1806-158 was detected as a recombinant virus. Furthermore, multiple comparisons showed that nucleotide similarities are clearly lower than amino acid similarities for PKV polyproteins. Selective pressure analysis indicated that Chinese PKV polyproteins are predominantly under negative selection. Overall, this study provided new insights into the prevalence and evolution of PKV in both diarrheic and healthy pigs in China.

Different gravity fields have important effects on the structural morphology of bone. The fluid flow caused by loadings in the bone lacunar-canalicular system (LCS), converts mechanical signals into biological signals and regulates bone reconstruction by affecting effector cells, which ensures the efficient transport of signaling molecules, nutrients, and waste products. In this study, the fluid flow and mass transfer effects of bone lacunar-canalicular system at multi-scale were firstly investigated, and a three-dimensional axisymmetric fluid-solid coupled finite element model of the LCS within three continuous osteocytes was established. The changes in fluid pressure field, flow velocity field, and fluid shear force variation on the surface of osteocytes within the LCS were studied comparatively under different gravitational fields (0 G, 1 G, 5 G), frequencies (1 Hz, 1.5 Hz, 2 Hz) and forms of cyclic compressive loading. The results showed that different frequencies represented different exercise intensities, suggesting that high-intensity exercise may accelerate the fluid flow rate within the LCS and enhance osteocytes activity. Hypergravity enhanced the transport of solute molecules, nutrients, and signaling molecules within the LCS. Conversely, the mass transfer in the LCS may be inhibited under microgravity, which may cause bone loss and eventually lead to the onset of osteoporosis. This investigation provides theoretical guidance for rehabilitative training against osteoporosis.

cGAS is a cytosolic DNA sensor that activates innate immune responses by producing the second messenger 2'3'-cGAMP, which activates the adaptor STING. cGAS senses dsDNA in a length-dependent but sequence-independent manner, meaning it cannot discriminate self-DNA from foreign DNA. In normal physiological conditions, cellular DNA is sequestered in the nucleus by a nuclear envelope and in mitochondria by a mitochondrial membrane. When self-DNA leaks into the cytosol during cellular stress or mitosis, the cGAS can be exposed to self-DNA and activated. Recently, many studies have investigated how cGAS keeps inactive and avoids being aberrantly activated by self-DNA. Thus, this narrative review aims to summarize the mechanisms by which cGAS avoids sensing self-DNA under normal physiological conditions.

The cyclic GMP-AMP synthase and stimulator of interferon (IFN) genes (cGAS-STING) pathway serves as a crucial component of innate immune defense and exerts immense antiviral activity by inducing the expression of type I IFNs. Currently, STING-activated production of type I IFNs has been thought to be mediated only by TANK-binding kinase 1 (TBK1). Here, we identified that porcine IKKε (pIKKε) is also directly involved in STING-induced type I IFN expression and antiviral response by using IKKε-/- porcine macrophages. Similar to pTBK1, pIKKε interacts directly with pSTING on the C-terminal tail. Furthermore, the TBK1-binding motif of pSTING C-terminal tail is essential for its interaction with pIKKε, and within the TBK1-binding motif, the leucine (L) 373 is also critical for the interaction. On the other hand, both kinase domain and scaffold dimerization domain of pIKKε participate in the interactions with pSTING. Consistently, the reconstitution of pIKKε and its mutants in IKKε-/- porcine macrophages corroborated that IKKε and its kinase domain and scaffold dimerization domain are all involved in the STING signaling and antiviral function. Thus, our findings deepen the understanding of porcine cGAS-STING pathway, which lays a foundation for effective antiviral therapeutics against porcine viral diseases.

Objective: To investigate the effects of Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract (MOLE) plus rosiglitazone (RSG) on glucose and lipid metabolism, serum leptin, and the Akt/GSK3ß/ß-Catenin signaling pathway in type 2 diabetic (T2D) rats. Methods: Sixty male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into six groups: the normal group, the model group, the RSG group, the low- and high-dose MOLE group, and the MOLE+RSG group. The normal group was fed a standard rat diet, while the other groups were given a single intraperitoneal injection of low-dose streptozomycin (STZ) (35 mg/kg) and fed a high-sugar and high-fat diet. After 8 weeks, the treatment outcomes were evaluated by measuring key parameters of blood glucose and lipid metabolism and the protein kinase B (AKT) / Glycogen synthase kinase 3beta (GSK3ß) /ß-Catenin signaling pathway in the T2D rats. Results: Compared with the normal group, the model group showed significantly increased levels of blood glucose, blood lipids, serum leptin, free fatty acid (FFA), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). Compared with the model group, the RSG, low-dose MOLE, and high-dose MOLE groups displayed effective control of blood glucose, blood lipids, serum leptin, FFA, and TNF-α. The MOLE+RSG group surpassed the RSG group in regulating glucose, lipid metabolism, and serum leptin levels in T2D rats. In addition, the MOLE+RSG group also had superiority over the RSG group in activating the AKT/GSK3ß/ß-Catenin pathway. Conclusion: MOLE plus RSG can effectively reduce blood glucose and blood lipids in T2DM rats.
