RESUMO

The aim of the study is individual qualitively and quantitatively identification of fatty acids in Pkatsiteli grape seed oil, Phellodendron lavallei oil and Amaranthus seed oil and prediction of its biological activity. Using high-effective liquid chromatogramphy fatty acids were franctionated. Their relative concentrations are expressed as percentages of the total fatty acid component. Identification of the fatty acids consituents is based on comparison of their retention time with that of known standards. The predominant fatty acids in the oils were palmitic, oleic and stearic acids. The investigation demonstrated that fatty acids composition takes marked part in lipid metabolism of biological necessary components. The most interesting result of the investigation was the detection of unusual for the essentain oil begenic acid.

RESUMO

The aim of the work is study in saliva the nicotine and benz(alphapiren concentration dynamic in morning without cigarette, after light first cigarette and after one hour after lighting. All biochemical substances is analyzed and identified chromatographically on Bondo-Pac C(18) column (Liquid Chromatography Millipor-Waters, USA). The conducted quantitative and qualitative analyzes show that at all examinations benz(alpha)piren concentration dynamic in saliva is very differently in compare of nicotine concentration dynamic. The content of benz(alpha)piren in saliva at all analyzes transfer very slowly. Our data show that with the increase of the time the concentration of nicotine in saliva in beginning increase, add then diminish. The studies are necessary to be held in different directions. First, the medical consequences of using the tobacco and the ways of their curing should be identified. The second direction should mean elaboration of preventive measures and programs, or measures of intervention.

RESUMO

A comprehensive investigation of the high-performance liquid chromatographic separation of Midazolam and his ozidized metabolits, their bases and other low-molecular-weight UV-absorbing compounds that might be found in serum is reported. The drug was administrated (2,0mg/kg) to 40 white mouses and the blood samples were collecetd for further analysis followind 30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 min. after the injection. The serotoninergic systems has been analyzed. Quantitative data were calculated by inner standart method. Oxidazed forms of Midazolam were qualitatively and quantitatively identified. Our data proved the ability of Midazolam to adsorb on the albumin and globulin fraction of plasma. Metabolism of serotonin and triptopchan is closely dependent on the concentration of psychotropic drug. Concentration of aminoacids (triptophan, tirosyn) in the blood is synshronized with the course of pharmacokinetic of the psychotropic preparation and functional state of serotoninergic system. Alterations may be due, on the one hand, to exhaustion of the stores, and on the other hand, to deterioration of the monoamines' synthesis process. The investigation of pharmacokinetics of invariable form of Midazolam and its oxidized metabolits is very important for practical medicine. Effective action of pshychotropic drugs is impossible without extensive knowlege of their phramacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. They are concerned with the need to dermine concentration in body fluids.

RESUMO

The aim of the work is study of adsorbtion dynamics of amitriptiline on the surface of erythrocytes and to compare the obtained data with the character of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of amitriptiline in plasma. With the method of PLC the adsorb gas was been analyzed. The drag was administered to adult drugs and the blood sampled were collected following 10, 20, 60 min. and 4,0; 6,0 and 8,0 hours after the injection. In the supernatants from the erythrocytes and in the blood plasma the dopaminergic systems has been analyzed. Our data proved the ability of amitriptiline to adsorb on the surface of erythrocytes. Its concentration in the supernatant washed from the surface of erythrocytes and in the blood were not the same. It may be connected with the character and quantity of functional groups located on the surface of erythrocytes.

RESUMO

The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of Trazodone were investigated by HPLC chromatography in the blood plasma and in the erythrocyte supernatant. Two groups of samples (plasma and supernatant) were monitored. The drug was administered to adult dogs and the blood samples were collected for further analysis following 10, 20, 60 min. and 4.0; 6.0 and 8.0 hours since the injection. Metabolism of dopamine and homovanilic acid is closely dependent on the pharmacokinetic of Trazodone. Concentration of homovanilic acid in the blood and supernatant is synchronized with the course of pharmacokinetics of psychotropic preparation. Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic approaches were used in the experiments. Effective action of psychotropic drugs is impossible without extensive knowledge of their pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. They are concerned with the need to determine concentration in body fluids. Experimental study was performed in the adult dogs. Adsorption dynamics of trazodone on the surface of erythrocytes was studied and comparison of the obtained data with the character of pharmacokinetics of tradozone in plasma was performed.

RESUMO

Experimental investigations gave grounds for the possibility of using the solution of colloid magnetite for the treatment of the abdominal cavity during operation for peritonitis. It was established that the substance has good bacteriocidal and bacteriostatic properties, adsorbs toxic substances present in the peritoneal exudate, is absorbed into blood from the abdominal cavity, does not destruct the cytostructure of the cells of formed elements of the blood, and is easily eliminated from the organism with the bile.

RESUMO

Twenty-five women presented with primary injuries of the hypothalamic area and the hypothalamic syndrome that resulted from the intake of toxic doses of drugs (TDD) for inducing an abortion. The situation was simulated in mature rats. Experiments evidenced a predominant involvement of the hypothalamic area, vs. other portions of the brain. All the patients developed the vegetovascular form of the hypothalamic syndrome, combined with neuroendocrine and thermoregulation disturbances. TDD-induced increase of the vulnerability of the hypothalamus during pregnancy may be explained by structural and functional peculiarities of the female hypothalamus, by suppression of the dominant gestational functional integrating system formed during pregnancy and simultaneous failure of the principal performance system, the hypothalamus.

PIP: An experiment on intake of toxic doses of drugs (TDD) was conducted in Russia on 27 mature white rats divided into 3 groups. The 1st group was given intramuscular injections of synestrol (10-15 mg/kg), pituitrin (5 mg/kg), pachycarpine (40-50 mg/kg) and quinine (200 mg/kg) outside the pregnancy phase. The 3rd group was in the pregnancy phase and given the same doses of these drugs. The 2nd group was in the pregnancy phase and not given these preparations. The control group consisted of 4 rats injected with a physiological solution in the amount of 2 mg/kg. The preparations were given over a 5-day period. After decapitation, the anterior and posterior sections of the hypothalamus and cerebral cortex were analyzed. It showed that structural and metabolic changes in the rats of the 1st group were represented equally both in the cerebral cortex and in the hypothalamic area. In the 3rd group, these changes were considerably greater in hypothalamic area than in the cerebral cortex. In the 2nd group, only minor metabolic changes were observed in the hypothalamic area, apparently caused by the pregnancy itself. All this proves that injection of TDD during pregnancy primarily affects the hypothalamic area. Twenty-five women with affection of the hypothalamic area, developing as a result of TDD intake (synestrol, pituitrin, pachycarpine and quinine) to terminate pregnancy. Duration of intake was 2-5 days. Clinical investigations, EEG's, cranial x-rays, and examination of the fundus of the eye and conditions of the autonomic nervous system were conducted on all the women. An autonomic-vascular form of hypothalamic syndrome was noted in all the patients, in all cases combined with minor neuroendocrine and thermoregulation disturbances. There also were observed innervation impairment of cranial nerves, changes in muscle tone, and asymmetry of deep reflexes. Hypertension syndrome was also determined in a number of cases. The emotional disorders which are typical of patients suffering from primary affection of the hypothalamic area should also be noted. Hypothalamic syndrome in the women did not develop immediately after taking TDD, but 2 weeks to 2 months later. There is reason to believe that during the pregnancy there is a heightened "vulnerability" of the hypothalamus as a result of changes in its functional state and activities. Intake of TDD to interrupt a pregnancy disturbs the activities of the hypothalamus and also the limbic system as a whole. The activities of the gestational integrative functional system are especially important during pregnancy. Intake of TDD results in structural and functional failure of the gestational functional system and its principal performance organ--the hypothalamus.

RESUMO

The cataphoretic mobility of schizophrenics blood erythrocytes, and the effect of the patients' blood plasma on the electric conductivity of artificial lipid bilayers were studied. Changes of the cataphoretic mobility were found to depend on the type, gravity, and progress of the disease. The data obtained pointed to a change of the sorption capacity of the erythrocyte membranes. The blood plasma of the schizophrenic patients lowered the resistance of the artificial membrane bilayers. These findings are interpreted from the standpoint of the presence of a biologically active factor in the plasma that produces the membranotropic effect.

RESUMO

The influence of blood serum from schizophrenia patients on imprinting was studied in 62 leghorns. Intraperitoneal injection to the chickens in the sensitive period of 1.5-2 ml of schizophrenia patients' blood serum before imprinting results in inhibition of the imprinting process over 1.5-4 hours, thus indicating that the chickens temporarily lose the ability to imprint. Meanwhile the injection to the control chickens of the same amount of serum from normal subjects, as well as of saline did not inhibit imprinting. It is suggested that the duration of inhibition of imprinting might depend on the toxicity of schizophrenia patients' serum. A conclusion is made that inhibition of imprinting in the sensitive period of the chickens in response to the injection of schizophrenics' serum can be used as an indicator of the patients' blood serum toxicity.

RESUMO

A comparative electronmicroscopic study of neutrophils in schizophrenic patients and in healthy control subjects has revealed a certain difference in the ultrastructure of blood cell formation. This difference concerns the coarse-grained chromatin, the osmiophility of nuclear membrane, the enlargement of perinuclear halo, the enlightenment of matrix, the enlargement of glycogen granules, the swelling of mitochondria, the change in the amount of free ribosomes, an increase in the number of azurophilic granules and a decrease in the specific ones.
