[Global demographic problem and active aging (literature review)].

The article presents an overview of foreign sources devoted to the problems of population aging as a significant phenomenon that has become the most important medical and socio-demographic challenge in the world. The review provides global data on this problem and shows the need for elaborating and implementing active aging strategies, optimizing opportunities for health, participation and safety in order to improve the life quality as people age. The paper employs the method of content analysis of scientific publications retrieved in PubMed database by keywords - «aging¼, «population aging¼, «demographic trend¼, «longevity¼, and «life expectancy¼. Scientific publications for the period 2018-2023, WHO and UN materials, statistical data, and popular scientific publications have been studied. The purpose of the review was to analyze trends and global nature of aging based on scientific publications and open sources, and to highlight the most promising areas of the demographic policy on the older adults. In the time of rapid demographic changes, it is extremely important to use all available opportunities that maximize healthy aging with the participation of the older adults. We should remember that aging is a natural process and it is better to accept it, both psychologically and physically, rather than ignore. Healthy aging should become and has become the main principle of life, suggesting a longer healthy life of the older adults, who, in turn, should understand how to accept and implement this principle in their lives.

[GENE THERAPY: HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT AND CURRENT STATE (LITERATURE REVIEW)].

The article provides a brief overview of the history of gene therapy from its inception to the present. It describes the main events that characterize the periods of history of the formation of this therapeutic direction in medicine; the basis achievements and problems of each periods. It lists the main gene therapy drugs that licensed at different times listed; innovative gene therapy technologies, which are now use in clinical practice or are still at the stage of approbation. The article is a review of publications from the Scopus and PubMed and official information from public Internet sources.

Beginning with the End-User in Mind: Application of Kern's Six-Step Approach to Design and Create a Literary Journal for Healthcare Students.

This is all the more relevant when considering that many healthcare students feel that insitutions lack an outlet for articstic and creative expression. The creation of a student-run literary review is one possible strategy to allow learners to engage in artistic expression and mitigate rising burnout rates. Utilizing the Kern six-step model for curriculum development, we present a novel, replicable, and stepwise approach to designing a forum for artistic engagement in the form of a literary review.

As políticas públicas no contexto da educação infantil brasileira / Public policy in brazilian early childhood education

O referido estudo tem como objetivo realizar uma revisão de literatura acerca do processo de Educação para os menores de 6 anos, bem como as políticas públicas que regulamentam o nível de ensino em questão. Para tanto foi elaborada uma pesquisa em base de dados sobre Educação Infantil e Políticas Públicas, como forma de elucidar os momentos históricos relevantes para a evolução do Sistema Educacional Brasileiro, em especial, para o primeiro nível de ensino da educação básica estabelecido pela Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional. Neste sentido, os estudos apontaram que apesar de todo o processo de evolução e transformação da Educação Infantil no cenário brasileiro, que fora apoiado na dependência de fatores político-sociais, faz-se necessário repensar em novas práticas que venham a priorizar melhorias na qualidade deste nível de ensino(AU)

This study aims to conduct a review of literature on the process of education for children under 6 years, as well as public policies regulating the level of education in question. Research database on early childhood education and public policy was used to elucidate the historical moments and factors relevant to the evolution of the Brazilian Educational System, in particular, the primary level of basic education established by the National Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education (Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da EducaçãoNacional - LBD ). In this sense, the studies reveal that despite the process of evolution and transformation of early childhood education in the Brazilianscenario, which has been supported by political and social factors, it's necessary to rethink new practices that will prioritize improvements in the quality of this level of education(AU)
