RESUMO

Since 2020, the Charles-Perrens Hospital Center in Bordeaux has been supporting the implementation of advanced practice nursing. The formation of a group of five advanced practice nurses (APNs) has enabled the deployment of numerous missions consistent with the APN model. With a view to developing the nursing discipline and enriching the healthcare offer, they are developing direct clinical missions or missions addressed to professionals and the healthcare system. The collective represents a major lever for implementation, and allows this new professional identity to be positioned within the hospital institution.

RESUMO

Therapeutic patient education (TPE) has proven its value and is a real challenge in the health care system. In order to coordinate the various TPE programs existing within health care institutions, transverse units for patient education have begun to be deployed. Although they have encountered some obstacles in their development, the teams, like the people being cared for, find them a real advantage. Research conducted in the Île-de-France region offers some ideas for strengthening their implementation.

Este trabalho objetiva contribuir para o debate sobre a clínica on-line, que se tornou mundial com a pandemia de covid-19, sustentando a hipótese de que o processo de luto que tem produzido o crescimento da demanda por psicanálise no Brasil seria, há um só tempo, singular e coletivo. Seguindo um percurso que passa pelo testemunho, pelas teorias de Freud e Guattari, pela experiência e a prática psicanalíticas, bordejando as fronteiras da ciência política e da antropologia, e buscando aprender com a arte e os artistas, tenta investir pela clínica uma nova maneira de habitar campo social.


This work aims to contribute to the debate on the online clinic, which has become worldwide after the pandemic of SARS-CoV-2, supporting the hypothesis that the grieving process that has produced the growth in demand for psychoanalysis in Brazil would be, at the same time, singular and collective. Following a path that passes through the testimony, by Freud and Guattari's theories, by psychoanalytic experience and practice, bordering the frontiers of political science and anthropology, and seeking to learn from art and artists, seeks to invest in the clinic in a new way of inhabiting the social field.


Este trabajo objetiva contribuir para el debate sobre la clínica on-line, que se tornó mundial con la pandemia de covid-19, sustentando la hipótesis de que el proceso de luto ha producido el crecimiento serio de la demanda por psicoanálisis en Brasil, hay un sólo tiempo, singular y colectivo. Siguiendo un camino que pasa por el testigo, por las teorías de Freud y Guattari, por la experiencia y la práctica psicoanalíticas, desplazándose por las fronteras de la ciencia política y de la antropología, y buscando aprender con el arte y los artistas, busca invertir por la clínica una nueva manera de habitar el campo social.

We consider the problem of finding the closest multivariate Gaussian distribution on a constraint surface of all Gaussian distributions to a given distribution. Previous research regarding geodesics on the multivariate Gaussian manifold has focused on finding closed-form, shortest-path distances between two fixed distributions on the manifold, often restricting the parameters to obtain the desired solution. We demonstrate how to employ the techniques of the calculus of variations with a variable endpoint to search for the closest distribution from a family of distributions generated via a constraint set on the parameter manifold. Furthermore, we examine the intermediate distributions along the learned geodesics which provide insight into uncertainty evolution along the paths. Empirical results elucidate our formulations, with visual illustrations concretely exhibiting dynamics of 1D and 2D Gaussian distributions.

In the absence of a proper cure for the disease, the recent pandemic caused by COVID-19 has been focused on isolation strategies and government measures to control the disease, such as lockdown, media coverage, and improve public hygiene. Mathematical models can help when these intervention mechanisms find some optimal strategies for controlling the spread of such diseases. We propose a set of nonlinear dynamic systems with optimal strategy including practical measures to limit the spread of the virus and to diagnose and isolate infected people while maintaining consciousness for citizens. We have used Pontryagin's maximum principle and solved our system by the finite difference method. In the end, several numerical simulations have been executed to verify the proposed model using Matlab. Also, we pursued the resilience of the parameters of control of the nonlinear dynamic systems, so that we can easily handle the pandemic situation.

The main result of this paper is a proof using real analysis of the monotonicity of the topological entropy for the family of quadratic maps, sometimes called Milnor's Monotonicity Conjecture. In contrast, the existing proofs rely in one way or another on complex analysis. Our proof is based on tools and algorithms previously developed by the authors and collaborators to compute the topological entropy of multimodal maps. Specifically, we use the number of transverse intersections of the map iterations with the so-called critical line. The approach is technically simple and geometrical. The same approach is also used to briefly revisit the superstable cycles of the quadratic maps, since both topics are closely related.

RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar em linhas gerais de que maneira a psicose é diagnosticada e tratada pela psicoterapia institucional. Partiremos da tese de doutorado de Tosquelles, na qual a psicose é pensada como fenômeno existencial comparável à experiência de fim de mundo. Trata-se aqui de salientar a importância da compreensão da experiência do doente e de sua elaboração criativa no desenvolvimento do quadro psicótico. Em seguida, analisaremos de que maneira Oury une a teoria de Tosquelles à psicanálise para desenvolver uma clínica multirreferencial e polifônica. No interior desse quadro teórico e prático, buscaremos traçar a inflexão política que Guattari dará à experiência clínica da psicoterapia institucional.


Abstract: The purpose of this article is to outline how psychosis is diagnosed and treated by institutional psychotherapy. We will begin with Tosquelles' doctoral thesis, in which psychosis is thought as an existential phenomenon comparable to the experience of the end of the world. It is important to emphasize the importance of understanding the patient's experience and his creative elaboration in the development of the psychotic picture. Then, we will analyze how Oury unites the theory of Tosquelles to psychoanalysis to develop a multirreferential and polyphonic clinic. Within this theoretical and practical framework we will trace the political inflection that Guattari will attribute to the experience of self-management proposed by institutional psychotherapy.

This article covers a very central issue in the discussions of the implications of exploitation for the health, quality of life, and well-being of populations. Essentially, the objective of any emancipatory project should be the elimination of any form of exploitation, whether of class, gender, race, nation, or the environment. This article explores the interrelatedness between different types of exploitation and demonstrates how all forms of exploitation are impacted by the political context within which they exist. It compares the levels of class and gender exploitation (as well as environmental exploitation) in countries governed by different political traditions, underlining the enormous importance this political context has in shaping not only each form of exploitation but how they are related. The article concludes that those countries which have an ideological project that connects all these different projects of liberation have less exploitation of each type of discrimination.

The social, economic and political consequences of emerging infectious disease (EID) may escape the sphere in which they first arise. In recent years, many EIDs have revealed the close links between human, animal and plant health, highlighting the need for multi-scale, multisectorial EID management. Human beings play a dual role in EID because they can promote their development through numerous human-environment interfaces and expanding international trade. On the other hand, their ability to analyze, interpret and act on the determinants of EID allows them to access the expertise necessary to control these EIDs. This expertise must be constantly adapted to remain relevant as the EID evolves, particularly in its virulence or transmission channels. Flexibility should become an inherent part of the expertise-based decision-making process even if it means going backwards. A certain degree of transparency and feedback to citizens is necessary for the acceptability of political decisions basing on expertise. A key step in the management of EID is the appropriate management of the early signal of infectious emergence. This step combines multidisciplinary skills allowing access to the best pathway for containing EID by implementing early countermeasures adapted to the situation. New digital technologies could significantly improve this early detection phase. Finally, experts have a fundamental role to play because they are located at the interface between operational actors and decision-makers, which allows multidirectional feedback, ideally in real time, between professional actors and decision makers. To combat current and future EIDs, expertise should be based on a multi-sectorial approach, promotion of collegiality and continuously adaptation to the evolving nature of EIDs.

A escrita deste artigo apresenta análises dos processos de produção de subjetividades e delineia gestos clínicos que orientam nossas práticas formativas em Psicologia no Programa de Formação em Investigação e Saúde no Trabalho (PFIST), vinculado ao Núcleo de Estudos em Subjetividade e Políticas (Nepesp) do Departamento de Psicologia da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, Brasil, tais como: postura de escrita e atenção acolhedora; produção de transversalidade; escuta sensível e ativação do corpo-si. A partir de cenas, rumores e indícios cultivados em um grupo de supervisão coletiva que reúne estudantes e professores, exercitam-se encontros regulares como oportunidade para a prática de gestos clínicos que desejamos sustentar nas intervenções vinculadas à construção de um fórum de discussão sobre a relação entre saúde e trabalho no ambiente escolar. Conclui-se que a ativação de gestos clínicos coincide com a prática de circulação da palavra, coletivização de análises e redistribuição de poder nas relações de trabalho no contexto educacional.


La redacción de este artículo presenta análisis de los procesos de producción de subjetividades y describe gestos clínicos que guían nuestras prácticas formativas en Psicología en el Programa de Formación en Investigación y Salud en el Trabajo (PFIST), vinculadas al Departamento de Psicología de la subjetividad y estudios de políticas (Nepesp), Departamento de Psicología, Universidad Federal de Espírito Santo, Brasil, tales como: escucha sensible y atención acogedora; producción de transversalidad; escucha sensible y activación del cuerpo-si. A partir de escenas y rumores cultivados en un grupo de supervisión colectiva que reúne a estudiantes y maestros, las reuniones regulares se ejercen como un oportunidad para practicar gestos clínicos que deseamos sostener en intervenciones vinculadas a la construcción de un foro de discusión sobre la relación entre salud y trabajo em el entorno escolar. Se concluye que la activación de los gestos clínicos coincide com la práctica de la circulación de palabras, la colectivación del análisis y la redistribución del poder en las relaciones laborales en el contexto educativo.


This article presents analyzes of the subjectivities processes productions and outlines clinical gestures that guide our formative practices in Psychology in the Training Program in Research and Health at Work, which is linked to the Department of Psychology of Subjectivity and Policy Studies (Nepesp), Department of Psychology, Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil, such as: writing posture and welcoming attention; transversality production; sensitive listening and body-self activation. From scenes, rumors and evidence cultivated in a collective supervision group that brings together students and teachers, regular meetings are exercised as an opportunity to practice clinical gestures that we wish to sustain in interventions bound by the construction of a discussion forum on the relationship between health and work in the school environment. It was concluded that the activation of clinical gestures coincides with the practice of word circulation, analysis collectivization not to mention the redistribution of power in work relationships in the educational context.

Resumo Identificar em quais circunstâncias a intersetorialidade e a transversalidade ocorrem no âmbito das políticas públicas se mostra fundamental para aumentar sua efetividade. Assim, este estudo integrou dois arcabouços teóricos relacionados à pobreza e à atratividade, visando a captar seus efeitos. A estimação econométrica com dados para os municípios cearenses evidenciou, por exemplo, que o crescimento econômico e as políticas públicas que o estimulam, além de favorecer a redução dos níveis de pobreza, também podem aumentar a atratividade de determinado município. Por outro lado, iniciativas que estimulam a urbanização e a requalificação dos espaços aumentam sua atratividade e, ainda, favorecem a redução da pobreza. Assim, ressalta-se a necessidade de pesquisar como as características do local e de sua população podem afetar a efetividade das políticas públicas.


Resumen Identificar en qué circunstancias la transversalidad y la intersectorialidad se producen en el contexto de las políticas públicas es esencial para aumentar su efectividad. Por ello, este estudio integró dos marcos teóricos relacionados con la pobreza y la atractividad, con el objetivo de captar sus efectos. La estimación econométrica con datos para los municipios de Ceará evidenció, por ejemplo, que el crecimiento económico y las políticas públicas que estimulan y favorecen la reducción de los niveles de pobreza también pueden aumentar la atractividad de un determinado municipio. Por otro lado, las iniciativas que fomentan la urbanización y la recalificación de espacios aumentan su atractividad y también ayudan a reducir la pobreza. Asimismo, se resalta la necesidad de investigar cómo las características del lugar y de su población pueden afectar la efectividad de las políticas públicas.


Abstract Identifying under what circumstances transversality and intersectoriality take place within the scope of public policies is fundamental to increase their effectiveness. Thus, two theoretical frameworks related to poverty and attractiveness were integrated, aiming to capture the existing effects. The econometric estimation with data for Ceara's municipalities showed, for example, that economic growth and the public policies that stimulate it, besides favoring the reduction of poverty levels, can also increase the attractiveness of a given municipality. On the other hand, initiatives that stimulate the urbanization and the requalification of spaces, increase their attractiveness and, also, favor the reduction of poverty. In addition, it was emphasized the need to investigate how the characteristics of the place and its population can affect the effectiveness of policies.

RESUMO

Esse ensaio discute a perspectiva transdisciplinar nos estudos da psicologia saudando os vinte anos do PPGPSI da UFRGS. Celebra o que foi feito na psicologia social praticada no programa de pós-graduação em Psicologia Social da UFRGS. Afirma a importância do trabalho rigoroso do método e nossa implicação com o campo da pesquisa em psicologia no contemporâneo que cartografa a realidade multivetorializada em que nos encontramos. O método da cartografia orienta a abordagem transdisciplinar na psicologia, entrelaçando clínica, cognição, filosofia e política, no esforço de se aproximar dos problemas que o mundo em que vivemos nos apresenta.


This essay discusses the transdisciplinary perspective in psychology studies saluting the twenty years of PPGPSI of UFRGS. It celebrates what has been done in the social psychology practiced in the post-graduation program in Social Psychology of UFRGS. It affirms the importance of rigorous work of the method and our implication with the search field in contemporaneous psychology that maps the multivectorial reality in which we find ourselves. The cartography method guides the transdisciplinary approach in psychology, entwining clinic, cognition, philosophy and politics, in the effort of approaching the problems that the world we live in presents us.


Este ensayo discute la perspectiva transdisciplinar en los estudios de psicología en homenaje a los veinte años del PPGPSI de la UFRGS. Celebra lo que ha sido hecho en la psicología social practicada en el programa de postgraduación en Psicología Social de la UFRGS. Afirma la importancia del trabajo rigoroso del método y nuestra implicación con el campo de la investigación en psicología contemporánea que cartografa la realidad multivectorializada en que nos encontramos. El método de la cartografia orienta el abordaje transdisciplinar en la psicología, entrelazando clínica, cognición, filosofía y política, en un intento de aproximarse de los problemas que nos presenta el mundo en que vivimos.

Neste trabalho, procuramos discutir o conceito de transversalidade na obra de Félix Guattari (e seus desdobramentos na esquizoanálise) e a apropriação deste conceito feita pelo sociólogo René Lourau (e seus desdobramentos na análise institucional ou socioanálise). Dessa maneira, primeiramente, apresentamos a transversalidade como Guattari a compreendeu em suas teorizações iniciais sobre grupos, para, depois, estendermos as discussões a 1) como esse conceito se associa à esquizoanálise, quando da valorização das tramas que promovem a invenção de inéditas estéticas existenciais; e 2) como a transversalidade se associa à análise institucional ou socioanálise, quando do desvelamento do inconsciente institucional. Concluímos que, apesar dos usos diferentes que os referidos autores realizam da concepção de transversalidade, ambos sustentam que tal conceito comunga com a perspectiva de se pensar a realidade como produção política, múltipla e plural, abrindo sujeitos e grupos a novos tipos de crises, críticas e possibilidades.


In this essay we discuss the concept of transversality in Félix Guattari’s works (and their developments in the schizoanalysis) and the appropriation of this concept by the sociologist René Lourau (and its development in the institutional analysis or socioanalysis). In this way, we first present the transversality as Guattari understood it in his initial theories about groups, and then we extend the discussions to 1) how this concept is associated with the schizoanalysis, when valuing the plots that promote the invention of unprecedented existential aesthetics; and 2) how the transversality is associated with the institutional analysis or the socioanalysis, when unveiling the institutional unconscious. We finally conclude that, despite the different uses that the mentioned authors carry out on the concept of transversality, both maintain that this concept communes with the perspective of thinking reality as a political production, multiple and plural, opening subjects and groups to new types of crisis, criticisms and possibilities.


En este trabajo buscamos discutir el concepto de transversalidad en la obra de Félix Guattari (y sus desdoblamientos en el esquizoanálisis) y la apropiación de este concepto hecha por el sociólogo René Lourau (y sus desdoblamientos en el análisis institucional o socioanálisis). De esta manera, primero presentamos la transversalidad tal como Guattari la comprendió en sus teorizaciones iniciales sobre grupos, para luego extender las discusiones a 1) cómo este concepto se asocia al esquizoanálisis, en relación con la valorización de las tramas que promueven la invención de inéditas estéticas existenciales; y 2) cómo la transversalidad se asocia al análisis institucional o socioanálisis, en relación con el desvelamiento del inconsciente institucional. Concluimos que, a pesar de los usos diferentes que los referidos autores realizan del concepto de transversalidad, ambos sostienen que tal concepto concuerda con la perspectiva de pensar la realidad como producción política, múltiple y plural, abriendo sujetos y grupos a nuevos tipos de crisis, críticas y posibilidades.

OBJECTIVE: The current Organic Law for the Improvement of Educational Quality (LOMCE) incorporates substantial changes from the previous law, especially a new curricular configuration with a higher prevalence of optionality, which may affect the development of health competencies by students. The objective was to evaluate the treatment of Health Education (HE) in the last two educative Spanish laws, based on the amount and varia- bility of Health related terms that they incorporate. METHODS: A comparative quantitative analysis was performed based on the presence of 281 terms related to eight areas of Health Education in both laws and for the two compulsory education stages (Primary and Secondary). Differences in the number of terms between laws was tested using an independence test. The effect of law, health area and educational level was tested using a logistic regression, and differences among curricular itineraries was assessed using a Wilcoxon test. RESULTS: LOE included 156 terms versus 153 in LOMCE. The educational level and health area affected the presence of terms (p-value < 0.001). The difference in the number of terms studied by a student depending on the curricular itinerary is 28% in Primary and ESO in LOMCE, compared to 0% and 7% in LOE. CONCLUSIONS: No significant differences have been found between laws in the number of terms, nor in the treatment of the health areas between laws. However, the increase in optional subjects in LOMCE allows a considerable asymmetry in the training of young people depending on their curricular itinerary.


OBJETIVO: La actual Ley Orgánica para la Mejora de la Calidad Educativa (LOMCE) incorpora cambios sustanciales con respecto a la ley anterior, especialmente una nueva configuración del currículum con mayor optatividad, que puede afectar al desarrollo de las competencias de Salud por parte del alumnado. El objetivo fue evaluar el tratamiento de la Educación para la Salud (EpS) en las dos últimas leyes educativas españolas, en base a la variabilidad y cantidad de términos relacionados con Salud que recogen. METODOS: Se realizó un análisis cuantitativo comparativo basado en la presencia de 281 términos relativos a ocho ámbitos de la EpS en ambas leyes y para las dos etapas de educación obligatorias (Primaria y Secundaria). Las diferencias en el número de términos entre leyes se comprobaron con un test de independencia. El efecto de la ley, el ámbito de salud y el nivel educativo se testó con una regresión logística, y las diferencias entre configuraciones curriculares con un test de Wilcoxon. RESULTADOS: La LOE recogió 156 términos frente a 153 en la LOMCE. El nivel educativo y el ámbito de salud influyeron en la presencia de términos (p-valor < 0,001). La diferencia en la cantidad de términos cursados por un alumno dependiendo del itinerario curricular fue del 28 % en Primaria y ESO en la LOMCE frente al 0 % y del 7 % en la LOE. CONCLUSIONES: No se han encontrado diferencias significativas entre leyes en el número de términos, ni en el peso de los diferentes ámbitos. Sin embargo, el aumento de optatividad en la LOMCE, introduce una asimetría considerable en la formación de los jóvenes dependiendo de su itinerario curricular.

Gradient, chemically modified, flat surfaces enable directed transport of droplets. Calculation of apparent contact angles inherent for gradient surfaces is challenging even for atomically flat ones. Wetting of gradient, flat solid surfaces is treated within the variational approach, under which the contact line is free to move along the substrate. Transversality conditions of the variational problem give rise to the generalized Young equation valid for gradient solid surfaces. The apparent (equilibrium) contact angle of a droplet, placed on a gradient surface depends on the radius of the contact line and the values of derivatives of interfacial tensions. The linear approximation of the problem is considered. It is demonstrated that the contact angle hysteresis is inevitable on gradient surfaces. Electrowetting of gradient surfaces is discussed.

The goal of this comment note is to express my concerns about the recent paper by Tian Zhao et al. (Entropy 2018, 20, 542). It is foreseen that this comment will stimulate a fruitful discussion of the issues involved. The transversality conditions of the variational problem provide the rectangular shape of the ST diagram for the Carnot cycle.

This paper proposes an algorithm for solving structured optimization problems, which covers both the backward-backward and the Douglas-Rachford algorithms as special cases, and analyzes its convergence. The set of fixed points of the corresponding operator is characterized in several cases. Convergence criteria of the algorithm in terms of general fixed point iterations are established. When applied to nonconvex feasibility including potentially inconsistent problems, we prove local linear convergence results under mild assumptions on regularity of individual sets and of the collection of sets. In this special case, we refine known linear convergence criteria for the Douglas-Rachford (DR) algorithm. As a consequence, for feasibility problem with one of the sets being affine, we establish criteria for linear and sublinear convergence of convex combinations of the alternating projection and the DR methods. These results seem to be new. We also demonstrate the seemingly improved numerical performance of this algorithm compared to the RAAR algorithm for both consistent and inconsistent sparse feasibility problems.

Resumo Este texto de cunho conceitual objetiva apresentar um estudo acerca das concepções de corpo presentes nas obras de Keleman e de Deleuze/Guattari, realizando um diálogo crítico que seja capaz de estabelecer uma linha de transversalidade entre os campos da clínica, da educação e da saúde. Apresentando conceituações destes autores e trazendo ainda alguns elementos nietzschianos e spinozanos para a discussão, pretendemos mostrar que um corporalismo capaz de transversalizar clínica, saúde e educação irá implicar-se eticamente em produzir alegria, porém, tomando-a como afeto que norteia o exercício educacional e promotor de saúde de ampliar a capacidade de agir e ser afetado.(AU)


Abstract This conceptual text aims to present a study about the conceptions of body present in the works of Keleman and Deleuze / Guattari, accomplishing a critical dialogue that could be able to establish a line of transversality between the fields of clinic, education and health. Presenting the conceptualizations of these authors and bringing some elements from Nietzsche and Spinoza to the discussion, we intend to show that a corporalism capable of transversalizing clinical, health and education will be involved ethically in producing joy, but taking it as affection that guides the educational and health promoter exercise of expanding the ability to act and being afected.(AU)

This article situates current debates about transdisciplinarity within the deeper history of academic disciplinarity, in its difference from the notions of inter- and multi-disciplinarity. It offers a brief typology and history of established conceptions of transdisciplinarity within science and technology studies. It then goes on to raise the question of the conceptual structure of transdisciplinary generality in the humanities, with respect to the incorporation of the 19th- and 20th-century German and French philosophical traditions into the anglophone humanities, under the name of 'theory'. It identifies two distinct - dialectical and anti-dialectical, or dialectical and transversal - transdisciplinary trajectories. It locates the various contributions to the special issue of which it is the introduction within this conceptual field, drawing attention to the distinct contribution of the French debates about structuralism and its aftermath - those by Serres, Foucault, Derrida, Guattari and Latour, in particular. It concludes with an appendix on Foucault's place within current debates about disciplinarity and academic disciplines.

Parte do pressuposto de que a transversalidade é concebida como uma aposta de mudança na educação e apresenta inferências sobre o tema. A análise está fundamentada nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN) do tema transversal "saúde", em entrevistas semiestruturadas e em relatos de professores, e evidencia que, no Brasil, a transversalidade ganha força na década de 1990, com a promulgação dos PCN que elencam "temas transversais". Na concepção dos professores investigados, a educação em saúde manifesta-se como algo na periferia do currículo. Os autores entendem que isso ocorre em função da consolidação dos campos disciplinares na escola e da estrutura das disciplinas nos currículos dos cursos para formação de professores.


Starting from the assumption that transversality is conceived as a proposal for change in education, the article outlines certain inferences on the subject. The analysis is founded on the transversal subject of "health" in the national curriculum guidelines (PCN), on semi-structured interviews and on reports resulting from conversations with teachers. It reveals that, in Brazil, the notion of transversality gained importance during the 1990s, when the PCN were established, which listed "transversal themes." In the view of the teachers interviewed, health education appears as something apart, on the margins of the curriculum. The authors believe that this is the case owing to the consolidation of the subject fields at school and the curricular structure in teacher training courses.
