RESUMO

Wildlife resources are strategic resources of a country, and the investigation of which is a key task for effective management in protection and utilization. Since the 1990s, two national surveys of terrestrial wildlife resources have been carried out in China, and the situation of wildlife resources has been known to a certain extent. Due to the complexity and difficulty of national wildlife survey, we are still not able to grasp the background and dynamics of wildlife resources as a whole promptly and effectively. The results and effectiveness of wildlife resources investigation will directly affect the decision-making related in wildlife protection. According to Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wildlife and Regulations of the People's Republic of China for the Implementation of the Protection of Terrestrial Wildlife, it is imperative to carry out the third national survey of terrestrial wildlife resources, and to be integrated with the national strategy of ecological civilization construction. The aims of this review were to summarize the earlier experiences in time, to further improve the investigation scheme and technical methods, to serve the third national survey of terrestrial wildlife resources, in addition to obtain more comprehensive and reliable data of wildlife resources, grasp the development trend of domestic wildlife resources, and provide more effective supports for the wildlife conservation in China.

Fermentation stage is a crucial factor for flavor profiles formation of hawthon wine. Thus, comprehensive knowledge of dynamic relationship between nonvolatile (NVOCs) and volatile aroma compounds (VOCs) from hawthorn wine at different fermentation stages was investigated by GC-MS and HPLC coupled with multivariate analysis. The increase of alcohols/esters/acids but decrease of terpenes/aldehydes/ketones was observed as fermentation extension. Specifically, OAV of ethyl acetate, ethyl caprylate, and ethyl caprate was > 50 from the 3rd day to 10th day, giving more fruity properties. Multivariate analysis showed that 1-hexanol, ethyl myristate, isobutyric acid, et al., were linked to the sensory evaluation of "sweet", "floral" and "fruity", and fructose, glucose and bitter amino acids were responsible for reduction of "bitterness" and "astringency". Additionally, VOCs were positively correlated with organic acids while negative to amino acids/soluble sugars, probably due to metabolization as precursors, providing references for aroma enhancement by regulating NVOCs precursors.

Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) promotes tumor cell infiltration and metastasis. Tracking the progression of EMT could potentially indicate early cancer metastasis. A key characteristic of EMT is the dynamic alteration in the molecular levels of E-cadherin and N-cadherin. Traditional assays have limited sensitivity and multiplexing capabilities, relying heavily on cell lysis. Here, we developed a multiplex electrochemical biosensor to concurrently track the upregulation of N-cadherin expression and reduction of E-cadherin in breast cancer cells undergoing EMT. Small-sized gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) tagged with redox probes (thionin or amino ferrocene) and bound to two types of antibodies were used as distinguishable signal tags. These tags specifically recognized E-cadherin and N-cadherin proteins on the tumor cell surface without cross-reactivity. The diphenylalanine dipeptide (FF)/chitosan (CS)/Au NPs (FF-CS@Au) composites with high surface area and good biocompatibility were used as the sensing platforms for efficiently fixing cells and recording the dynamic changes in electrochemical signals of surface proteins. The electrochemical immunosensor allowed for simultaneous monitoring of E- and N-cadherins on breast cancer cell surfaces in a single run, enabling tracking of the EMT dynamic process for up to 60 h. Furthermore, the electrochemical detection results are consistent with Western blot analysis, confirming the reliability of the methodology. This present work provides an effective, rapid, and low-cost approach for tracking the EMT process, as well as valuable insights into early tumor metastasis.

Adhesive small bowel obstruction (ASBO) causes a major burden in emergency medicine. Owing to in situ decompression, nasointestinal tube (NIT) placement has been increasingly used in clinical practice compared with traditional conservation (TC); however, the indications remain controversial. This study was designed to explore the indications for each treatment in ASBOs and then suggest the optimal strategy. After propensity score matching, 128 pairs were included (the NIT and TC groups). The occurrence of severe adverse events (SAEs), peri-treatment clinical parameters, and radiological features were compared between the successful and failed treatment groups. According to different stages of the entire treatment, the independent risk factors for adverse effects for ASBO were analysed in phase I and phase II. In phase I, normal red blood cells (RBC) levels (p = 0.011) and a balanced sodium ion level (p = 0.016) positively affected the outcomes of TC treatment. In phase II, for the TC group, the successful treatment rate reached 79.5% for patients with ASBOs whose normal RBC levels (p = 0.006) or decreasing white blood cells (WBC) levels (p = 0.014) after treatment. For the NIT group, the treatment success rate was 68.1% for patients whose electrolyte imbalance could be reversed or whose neutrophil count/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) levels was lower than 4.3 (p = 0.018). TC treatment is highly recommended for patients with normal RBC counts and sodium levels pretreatment. After dynamic monitoring of the treatment process, for both the TC and NIT groups, once ASBOs had elevated inflammatory biomarkers or irreversible electrolyte disturbances, surgical interference was preferred.

Lipid droplets (LDs) participating in various cellular activities and are increasingly being emphasized. Fluorescence imaging provides powerful tool for dynamic tracking of LDs, however, most current LDs probes remain inconsistent performance such as low Photoluminescence Quantum Yield (PLQY), poor photostability and tedious washing procedures. Herein, a novel yellow-emissive carbon dot (OT-CD) has been synthesized conveniently with high PLQY up to 90%. Besides, OT-CD exhibits remarkable amphiphilicity and solvatochromic property with lipid-water partition coefficient higher than 2, which is much higher than most LDs probes. These characters enable OT-CD high brightness, stable and wash-free LDs probing, and feasible for in vivo imaging. Then, detailed observation of LDs morphological and polarity variation dynamically in different cellular states were recorded, including ferroptosis and other diseases processes. Furthermore, fast whole imaging of zebrafish and identified LD enrichment in injured liver indicate its further feasibility for in vivo application. In contrast to the reported studies to date, this approach provides a versatile conventional synthesis system for high-performance LDs targeting probes, combing the advantages of easy and high-yield production, as well as robust brightness and stability for long-term imaging, facilitating investigations into organelle interactions and LD-associated diseases.

BACKGROUND: Ionic calcium (Ca2+) plays a crucial role in maintaining normal physiological and biochemical functions within the human body. Detecting the concentration of Ca2+ is of utmost significance for various purposes, including disease screening, cellular metabolism research, and evaluating drug effectiveness. However, current detection approaches such as fluorescence and colorimetry face limitations due to complex labeling techniques and the inability to track changes in Ca2+ concentration. In recent years, extensive research has been conducted in this field to explore label-free and efficient approaches. RESULTS: In this study, a novel light-addressed potentiometric sensor (LAPS) using silicon-on-sapphire technology, has been successfully developed for Ca2+ sensing. The Ca2+-sensitive LAPS achieved a wide-range detection of Ca2+, ranging from 10-2 M to 10-7 M, with an impressive detection limit of 100 nM. These advancements are attributed to the ultra-thin silicon layer, silicon dioxide layer, and solid-state silicon rubber sensitive membrane around 6 µm. Furthermore, the sensor demonstrated the ability to dynamically monitor fluctuations in Ca2+ concentration ranging from 10-9 M to 10-2 M within a solution. Its remarkable selectivity, specificity, and long-term stability have facilitated its successful application in the detection of Ca2+ in human serum and urine. SIGNIFICANCE AND NOVELTY: This work presents a Ca2+-sensitive sensor that combines a low detection limit and a wide detection range. The development represents the emergence of a label-free and rapid Ca2+ detection tool with immense prospects in home-based health monitoring, community disease screening, as well as cellular metabolism, and drug screening evaluations.

BACKGROUND: Commonly clinically diagnosed with relapsing polychondritis (RP), vacuoles, E1 enzyme, X-linked, autoinflammatory, somatic syndrome (VEXAS) is a recently identified autoinflammatory disease caused by UBA1 somatic mutations. The low frequency and dynamic changes challenge the accurate detection of somatic mutations. The present study monitored these mutations in Chinese patients with RP. We included 44 patients with RP. Sanger sequencing of UBA1 was performed using genomic DNA from peripheral blood. Droplet digital polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR) was performed to screen low-prevalence somatic variants. RESULTS: Multiple ddPCR detections were performed using available blood samples collected at different follow-up time points. Three male patients were UBA1 somatic mutation carriers. Sanger sequencing detected the somatic UBA1 variant c.122T > C (p.Met41Thr) in two male patients. Initial ddPCR confirmed the variant in the two patients, with allele fractions of 73.75% and 88.46%, respectively, while yielding negative results in other patients. Subsequent ddPCR detected the somatic variant (c.122T > C) with low prevalence (1.02%) in another male patient from blood samples collected at a different time point, and confirmed dynamically fractional abundance in one patient with VEXAS, with allele fractions of 73.75%, 61.28%, 65.01%, and 73.75%. Nine patients assessed by ddPCR at different time points remained negative. CONCLUSION: We report UBA1 variants in patients with RP in the Chinese population for the first time. Multiple ddPCR detections from samples collected at different time points can enhance sensitivity and should be considered for patients with initial negative ddPCR results.

Neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) is a common critical disease in neonates. Early diagnosis and timely treatment are crucial. Historically, X-ray imaging was the primary method for diagnosing NRDS. However, this method carries radiation exposure risks, making it unsuitable for dynamic lung condition monitoring. In addition, neonates who are critically ill require bedside imaging, but diagnostic delays are often unavoidable due to equipment transportation and positioning limitations. These challenges have been resolved with the introduction of lung ultrasound (LUS) in neonatal intensive care. The diagnostic efficacy and specificity of LUS for NRDS is superior to that of X-ray. The non-invasive, dynamic, and real-time benefits of LUS also allow for real-time monitoring of lung changes throughout treatment for NRDS, yielding important insights for guiding therapy. In this paper, we examine the ultrasonographic characteristics of NRDS and the recent progress in the application of ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of NRDS while aiming to promote wider adoption of this method.

Long-term contrast-enhanced angiography offers significant advantages in theranostics for diverse vascular diseases, particularly in terms of real-time dynamic monitoring during acute vascular events; However, achieving vascular imaging with a duration of hours through a single administration of low-dose contrast agent remains challenging. Herein, a hyaluronic acid-templated gadolinium oxide (HA@Gd2O3) nanoprobe-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) is proposed to address this bottleneck issue for the first time. The HA@Gd2O3 nanoprobe synthesized from a facile one-pot biomineralization method owns ultrasmall size, good biocompatibility, optimal circulation half-life (≈149 min), and a relatively high T1 relaxivity (r1) under both clinical 3 T (8.215 mM-1s-1) and preclinical 9.4 T (4.023 mM-1s-1) equipment. The HA@Gd2O3 nanoprobe-enhanced MRA highlights major vessels readily with significantly improved contrast, extended imaging duration for at least 2 h, and ultrahigh resolution of 0.15 mm under 9.4 T, while only requiring half clinical dosage of Gd. This technique can enable rapid diagnosis and real-time dynamic monitoring of vascular changes in a model of acute superior mesenteric vein thrombosis with only a single injection of nanoprobe. The HA@Gd2O3 nanoprobe-enhanced MRA provides a sophisticated approach for long-term (hour scale) vascular imaging with ultrahigh resolution and high contrast through single administration of low-dose contrast agent.

@#Risk assessment models for periodontal disease provide dentists with a precise and consolidated evaluation of the prognosis of periodontitis, enabling the formulation of personalized treatment plans. Periodontal risk assessment systems have been widely applied in clinical practice and research. The application fields of periodontal risk assessment systems vary based on the distinctions between clinical periodontal parameters and risk factors. The assessment models listed below are commonly used in clinical practice, including the periodontal risk calculator (PRC), which is an individual-based periodontal risk assessment tool that collects both periodontal and systemic information for prediction; the periodontal assessment tool (PAT), which allows for quantitative differentiation of stages of periodontal disease; the periodontal risk assessment (PRA) and modified periodontal risk assessment (mPRA), which are easy to use; and the classification and regression trees (CART), which assess the periodontal prognosis based on a single affected tooth. Additionally, there are orthodontic-periodontal combined risk assessment systems and implant periapical risk assessment systems tailored for patients needing multidisciplinary treatment. This review focuses on the current application status of periodontal risk assessment systems.

Aims: Non-invasive remote patient monitoring is an increasingly popular technique to aid clinicians in the early detection of worsening heart failure (HF) alongside regular follow-ups. However, previous studies have shown mixed results in the performance of such systems. Therefore, we developed and evaluated a personalized monitoring algorithm aimed at increasing positive-predictive-value (PPV) (i.e. alarm quality) and compared performance with simple rule-of-thumb and moving average convergence-divergence algorithms (MACD). Methods and results: In this proof-of-concept study, the developed algorithm was applied to retrospective data of daily bodyweight, heart rate, and systolic blood pressure of 74 HF-patients with a median observation period of 327 days (IQR: 183 days), during which 31 patients experienced 64 clinical worsening HF episodes. The algorithm combined information on both the monitored patients and a group of stable HF patients, and is increasingly personalized over time, using linear mixed-effect modelling and statistical process control charts. Optimized on alarm quality, heart rate showed the highest PPV (Personalized: 92%, MACD: 2%, Rule-of-thumb: 7%) with an F1 score of (Personalized: 28%, MACD: 6%, Rule-of-thumb: 8%). Bodyweight demonstrated the lowest PPV (Personalized: 16%, MACD: 0%, Rule-of-thumb: 6%) and F1 score (Personalized: 10%, MACD: 3%, Rule-of-thumb: 7%) overall compared methods. Conclusion: The personalized algorithm with flexible patient-tailored thresholds led to higher PPV, and performance was more sensitive compared to common simple monitoring methods (rule-of-thumb and MACD). However, many episodes of worsening HF remained undetected. Heart rate and systolic blood pressure monitoring outperformed bodyweight in predicting worsening HF. The algorithm source code is publicly available for future validation and improvement.

The objective was to determine the associations between several biochemical indicators and the dynamics of concentration change across four physical fitness phases over the period of a competitive season. Furthermore, associations between serum calprotectin and biomarkers of inflammation or muscle injury and physical indicators were examined. SUBJECTS AND METHODS: Twenty professional male water polo players (median age: 28 (22-42)) were included in this study. Serum creatine kinase activity was determined by the automated photometric UV method. The concentrations of calprotectin, C-reactive protein, and myoglobin were measured using an automated immunoturbidimetric method, while an automated immunochemistry method was employed for interleukin-6, troponin I, and cortisol determination. Tests of repeated strength, maximal strength, and static strength were used to evaluate physical activity. RESULTS: Serum calprotectin concentrations expressed in median and IQR were significantly different: T1: 2.92 g/mL (2.47; 3.86); T2: 2.35 g/mL (1.26; 2.87); T3: 2.27 g/mL (1.60; 3.27); and T4: 1.47 g/mL (1.04; 2.85) (p = 0.004). Cortisol concentration and CK activity showed significant changes among phases (p = 0.049 and p = 0.014, respectively). Each physical activity examined showed a significant seasonal decrease (all p values were 0.001). Calprotectin serum concentration and indicators of muscular injury, inflammation, and physical activity were found to be correlated during particular stages of the seasonal examination. CONCLUSIONS: Calprotectin values determined throughout one competitive season decreased as training intensity among water polo players increased. Serum calprotectin concentrations and indicators were related to biochemical markers of inflammation and muscle damage.

To assess the value of parameters of myocardial work for dynamic monitoring of myocardial injury after neonatal asphyxia. Fifty-three neonates with asphyxia admitted within 24 h after delivery were divided into a mild asphyxia group (n = 40) and severe asphyxia group (n = 13). Echocardiography was performed within 24 h post-birth, within 72 h post-birth (48 h after first echo), and during recovery. The left ventricular ejection fraction on M-mode echocardiography and by Simpson's biplane method (LVEF and Bi-EF, respectively), stroke volume (SV), cardiac output (CO), cardiac index (CI), global longitudinal strain (GLS), global work index (GWI), global constructive work (GCW), and other parameters were measured. Echocardiographic indicators were compared between groups and over time. GWI was significantly increased at 72 h in the mild asphyxia group (P < 0.05) but showed no significant change over time in the severe asphyxia group (P > 0.05). While GCW increased significantly over time in both groups (P < 0.05), it increased earlier in the mild asphyxia group. Time and grouping factors had independent effects on GWI and GCW (P > 0.05). The characteristics of differences in GWI and GCW between the two groups were different from those for LVEF, Bi-EF, SV, CO, CI, and GLS and their change characteristics with improvement from treatment. GWI and GCW changed significantly during recovery from neonatal asphyxia, and their change characteristics differed between mild and severe asphyxia cases. Myocardial work parameters can be used as valuable supplements to traditional indicators of left ventricular function to dynamically monitor the recovery from myocardial injury after neonatal asphyxia.

BACKGROUND: We sought to investigate the prognostic significance of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) dynamics for stage II colon cancer patients undergoing radical resection. METHODS: This study retrospectively analyzed 1517 stage II colon cancer patients admitted to the Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital from January 2011 to December 2016. To observe the relationship between tumor markers dynamic monitoring and survival, we calculated cut-off values for ΔCEA and ΔCA19-9. Group according to the cut-off values and compare the differences in survival between subgroups. RESULTS: Preoperative CA199 (HR = 3.122), postoperative CEA (HR = 2.941) and histological type (HR = 2.855) were independent prognostic factors in multivariate Cox proportional hazards models. The 5-year overall survival (OS) in the patients with normal preoperative CEA and CA19-9 was significantly better than the patients with elevated preoperative CEA or CA19-9 and the patients with elevated preoperative CEA and CA19-9 (92.6 % vs. 87.6 % vs. 81.0 %, P < 0.05). 469 patients with normal pre- and post-operative CEA had the highest 5-year OS (93.5 %, P < 0.05). Among the 177 patients with elevated pre- and post-operative CEA, the 5-year OS rate was only 81.8 % (P < 0.05). The cut-off values for Δ CEA and Δ CA19-9 in stage II colon cancer patients with elevated preoperative tumor markers were 2.625 ng/ml and 7.835 U/ml, respectively. The Kaplan-Meier curves showed that Δ CEA≥2.625 ng/ml and Δ CA19-9≥7.835 U/mL were associated with better outcome (87.8 % vs. 79.6 %, P < 0.05; 85.8 % vs. 79.1 %, P > 0.05). At the same time, we found that adjuvant chemotherapy significantly improved 5-year OS in patients with elevated preoperative CEA or CA19-9 (91.0 % vs. 80.9 % and 89.6 % vs. 80.2 %, P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Persistent postoperative elevation of CEA/CA19-9 is associated with a poor prognosis. CEA and CA19-9 may be high-risk factors for postoperative adjuvant therapy in stage II colon cancer patients. For stage II colon cancer patients with elevated preoperative CEA, patients with Δ CEA<2.625 ng/ml have poor survival and can improve prognosis by receiving adjuvant therapy.

BACKGROUND: Bloodstream infections (BSIs) represent a significant public health challenge due to their high morbidity and mortality. The clinical prognosis of BSIs is closely related to the timely and accurate diagnosis and the rational use of initial antimicrobials. We aimed to evaluate the clinical value of droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) in rapid diagnosis and dynamic monitoring of BSIs. METHODS: In this prospective study, using a ddPCR-based approach which detects 18 common pathogens, we compared the detection results and clinical concordance rates of ddPCR with blood culture (BC) in 211 patients with suspected BSIs. Further, the inflammatory profile of BSIs with Gram-negative bacteria was analyzed by Olink proteomics platform. RESULTS: Our data showed that the positive detection rate of ddPCR was 48.82%, which was higher than that of BC (9.48%). For BC-validated BSIs, ddPCR had a sensitivity of 90.00% and a specificity of 55.50%. When considering clinically-validated BSIs, the diagnostic value of ddPCR improved with a sensitivity of 92.59% and a specificity of 78.46%.The bacterial load detected by ddPCR was correlated with traditional clinical inflammatory indicators such as interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-reactive protein (CRP). In addition, using Olink proteomics platform, we revealed that serological osteoprotegerin (OPG), interleukin-8 (IL-8), interleukin-18 receptor 1 (IL-18R1), C-C motif chemokine 20 (CCL20) and IL-6 were substantially elevated in Gram-negative bacteria-associated BSIs, which could serve as novel auxiliary diagnostic indicators for Gram-negative bacteria BSIs. CONCLUSION: ddPCR has the potential to provide early pathogen diagnosis, dynamic monitoring, and treatment regimen optimization for patients with BSIs.

Digital twin represents the core technology to realize the dynamic monitoring of complex industrial systems. However, the human body, as the most complex system in the physical world, digital twin is rarely applied in it. In this study, we successfully demonstrated a digital twin in the human biomedical application by proposing a dynamic monitoring system of the upper limb force. In this system, the real upper limb drives the motion of the virtual one in real-time and dynamically updates the force. Meanwhile, the virtual upper limb feeds back the monitoring-results of the force to the controller of the real upper limb via immersive virtual reality interaction. Experimental results of the typical motions of the upper limb revealed that the proposed system functioned interactively in real-time in a non-invasive manner, while ensuring the accurate solving of the muscle force. In conclusion, our digital twin-driven system is of great importance for rehabilitation medicine, biomechanical scientific research and physical training, promoting the application of the digital twin in the human biomedical field.

A series of fluorescent dyes (NapPAs) based on 4-phenylacetylene-1,8-naphthalimide were synthesized and characterized, whose conjugated structures were extended by the introduction of phenylethynyl. Furthermore, changes in the photophysical properties of the dyes when substituents with varying electron richness were introduced at the p-position of phenylacetylene were studied. The theoretical calculation of the dye molecules was carried out by B3LYP functional and 6-31G(d,p) basis set, and the effects of different substituents at the p-position of phenylacetylene on the electronic structure and photophysical properties of the dyes were studied by theoretical calculation results. Theoretical calculations provided a reliable means of predicting the properties of dyes, which could help in the design of more efficient and novel dyes. To verify the practicability of the dyes, two dyes with excellent photophysical properties (large Stokes shift, high polarity-viscosity sensitivity, good biocompatibility) were selected as fluorescent probes for visualization of LDs and two-color imaging of LDs and lysosomes. Cell imaging showed that NapPA-LDs and NapPA-LDs-Lyso serve as excellent imaging tools to monitor the dynamic changes, movements, and behaviors of LDs and lysosomes in real time. Notably, NapPA-LDs-Lyso held promise as a potential tool to study the interaction between LDs and lysosomes.

This data article presents data from the China Migrants Dynamic Survey (CMDS), a multi-wave, large-scale national cross-sectional survey of China's internal migrants from 2009 to 2018. The CMDS is an annual questionnaire survey conducted by the former National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) of the People's Republic of China. The respondents included in this survey are internal migrants over 15 years old. The sample was drawn from the China Migrant Population Information System, using multi-stage stratified sampling method and the probability proportional-to-size (PPS) cluster sampling strategy. Between 2009 and 2018, there were 1,527,650 internal migrants from 23 provinces, 5 autonomous regions and 4 municipalities participated in the surveys. The survey tools were a series of self-designed questionnaires with high inheritance and consistency designed and implemented by the NHFPC. The questionnaires mainly contain basic information of the respondents and their family members, migration status, healthcare or health behaviors, public health service utilization, social insurance, social integration, and family planning. The dataset is currently the most widely used survey data on China's internal migrants, offering information on migration patterns, healthcare and health behaviors, use of public health services, access to social security, social integration, and family planning, which are valuable for health planning, health decision-making, and health equity research.

Since fresh foods include a significant amount of water, fat, and protein, it is more likely to become infected by microorganisms causing a major loss of quality. Traditional detection techniques are less able to meet customer expectations owing to the limitations of high cost, slow response time, and inability to permit dynamic monitoring. Intelligent non-destructive detection technologies have emerged in recent years, which offer the advantages of small size and fast response at low cost. However, dynamic monitoring of fresh food quality based on intelligent detection technologies on the consumer side has not been rigorously evaluated yet. This paper discussed the application of intelligent detection technologies based on the consumer side in the dynamic monitoring of fresh food freshness, microorganisms, food additives, and pesticide residues. Furthermore, the application of intelligent detection technologies combined with smartphones for quality monitoring and detection of fresh foods is evaluated. Moreover, the challenges and development trends of intelligent fresh food quality detection technologies are also discussed. Intelligent detection technologies based on the consumer side are designed to detect in real-time the quality of fresh food through visual color changes in combination with smartphones. This paper provides ideas and recommendations for the application of intelligent detection technologies based on the consumer side in food quality detection/monitoring and future research trends.
