Conexão nos implantes osseointegrados / Connection in osseointegrated implants

RESUMO

Existem vários tipos de conexões, baseando-se na interface da união implante/ intermediário, classifi cam-se os implantes em implantes com conexão externa e com conexão interna. A saucerização que também tem relação direta com a conexão escolhida, trata-se de uma reabsorção óssea cervical peri-implantar que possui formato de pires e tem como características ocorrer superfi cialmente e ser rasa, ela ocorre em qualquer implante osseointegrado depois de instalado. O objetivo do presente artigo foi averiguar a infl uência da conexão no desfecho clínico fi nal dos casos de implantes osseointegrados. Ocorrida a instalação dos implantes osseointegrados deverá haver uma relação harmoniosa entre os mesmos e os tecidos moles peri-implantares, bem como deverá haver adequações que permitam que esses implantes possam suportar as remodelações ósseas que normalmente afl igem todos os tipos de conexões protéticas. Convém averiguar minuciosamente como os tecidos peri-implantares reagem aos mais variados tipos de conexões protéticas, no intuito de evitar intempéries que possam causar problemas no desfecho fi nal na reabilitação oral com implantes osseointegrados. O planejamento prévio a confecção dos implantes osseointegrados deve ser realizado, levando em consideração, individualmente as características de cada paciente para que seja possível optar-se pela escolha de determinado tipo de conexão que seja capaz de promover a reabilitação oral e lograr êxito

ABSTRACT

There are several types of connections, based on the interface of the implant/intermediate joint, the implants are classified into implants with external connection and internal connection. The saucerization that also has a direct relation with the chosen connection, is a peri-implant cervical bone resorption that is saucer-shaped and has characteristics that occur superficially and is shallow, it occurs in any osseointegrated implant after its installation. The aim of the present article was to investigate the influence of the connection on the final clinical outcome of osseointegrated implants cases. Once the osseointegrated implants are installed, there must be a harmonious relationship between the implants and the peri-implant soft tissues, and there should be adjustments that allow these implants to withstand the bone remodeling that normally afflicts all types of prosthetic connections. It is necessary to ascertain in detail how the peri-implant tissues react to the most varied types of prosthetic connections, in order to avoid intemperities that may cause problems in the final outcome in oral rehabilitation with osseointegrated implants. The prior planning of osseointegrated implants should be performed taking into account individually the characteristics of each patient so that it is possible to choose a certain type of connection that is capable of promoting oral rehabilitation and achieving success.
