Participação dos pais na psicoterapia psicanalítica de crianças / Parent participation in child psychoanalytic psychotherapy

RESUMO

A psicoterapia de crianças envolve, para além da díade terapeuta-paciente, de alguma forma, seus pais ou responsáveis. Não há consenso entre os clínicos sobre a melhor forma de incluir os pais na psicoterapia psicanalítica de crianças, sendo relevante verificar como a literatura científica posiciona-se sobre o tema. Realizou-se uma revisão sistemática nas bases de dados Medline, Lilacs, SciELO, PsycInfo, Pepsic e PubMed, utilizando os descritores psychoanalytic psychotherapy, children e parents. Foram identificados 14 estudos que focalizam esse tema e todos defendem a participação dos pais no tratamento psicanalítico da criança. As abordagens de trabalho com os pais, os benefícios da sua participação no tratamento, os aspectos transferenciais e contratransferenciais, assim como o manejo técnico nas sessões, são discutidos. As propostas técnicas diferem dependendo da formação do terapeuta, do seu embasamento teórico e da sua experiência. Sugere-se que pesquisas empíricas sejam realizadas para orientar os clínicos na prática cotidiana, pois a maior parte dos artigos são reflexões teóricas.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Psychotherapy of children involves, in addition to the therapist-patient dyad, somehow, their parents or guardians. There is no consensus among clinicians on the best way to include parents in psychoanalytic psychotherapy of children, so it is relevant to verify the position of the scientific literature regarding this subject. A systematic review was conducted in the Medline, Lilacs, SciELO, PsycInfo, Pepsic and PubMed databases using the keywords psychoanalytic psychotherapy, children and parents. Fourteen studies that focus on this issue were identified and they all endorse the involvement of parents in the psychoanalytic treatment of children. Working approaches with the parents, the benefits of their participation in treatment, transference and counter-transference aspects, as well as the technical management in the sessions are discussed. The studies showed that the proposed techniques differ depending on the training of the therapist, their theoretical background and experience, demonstrating the need for improvement, both through clinical case studies and empirical research. Empirical research must be conducted, since most of the articles are theoretical reflections.(AU)
