Síndrome de Behçet: presentación de un caso / Behçet´s syndrome: a case report

RESUMEN

La enfermedad de Behcet es un síndrome multisistémico, de posible patogenia inmunológica y crónica evolución, con lesión histopatológica fundamental de vasculitis y cuyas manifestaciones clínicas más importantes son ulceraciones aftosas recidivantes, úlceras genitales y uveítis. Sus complicaciones más graves son las oftalmológicas y las neurológicas. Caso Clínico paciente de 38 años de edad, femenina, con Antecedentes Patológicos Personales de Asma Bronquial y Epilepsia sin tratamiento intercrisis ni anticonvulsivante por estar por más de 20 años estable. Acudió al Cuerpo de Guardia del Policlínico Previsora por presentar fiebre de 38,50C; nódulos eritematosos en miembros inferiores y ulceras aftosas en la boca. Inicialmente fue interpretado como un proceso séptico bucal; luego fue valorada por la especialista en dermatología quien decide su ingreso por diagnosticar un Eritema Nudoso (AU)

ABSTRACT

Behçet´s disease is a multisystemic syndrome, of possible immunologic pathogeny and chronic evolution, with fundamental histopathological lesion of vasculitis whose the most important clinical manifestations are recidivist aphthous ulcerations, genital ulcers and uveitis. Ophthalmologic and neurological are the most serious complications. Clinical case a 38 years old female patient, with personal pathological antecedents of bronchial asthma and epilepsy without intercrisis neither anticonvulsive treatment being stable for more than 20 years was presented. The patient was presented to the emergency room at the Previsora Polyclinic with fever of 38,50C; erythematous nodes of inferior limbs and aphthous ulcers in the mouth. Initially it was interpreted as an oral septic process; then it was valued by the specialist in dermatology who decides her admittance who diagnosed an erythema nodosum (AU)
