A witness of the strong rains that affected several Venezuelan regions gives his testimony. During the first 3 weeks of December, 1999, the worst natural disaster Venezuela ever suffered occured. The disaster provokedthousands of victims, thousands of millions dollars in material loses, which drastically affected the countryïs economy and environment. Most of the damages were in the coast in the state Vargas to the nort of Caracas
