RESUMEN

La malaria grave es una emergencia diagnóstica y terapéutica con un gran impacto a nivel mundial por incidencia y mortalidad. La presentación clínica de la malaria grave puede ser muy polimorfa y progresar rápidamente. Por lo tanto resultan fundamentales un correcto diagnóstico y un tratamiento antiparasitario y de soporte pronto y adecuado. En este trabajo se intenta esquematizar el diagnóstico y tratamiento de la malaria grave en los pacientes adultos, pediátricos y en el embarazada (AU)

ABSTRACT

Severe malaria is a diagnostic and therapeutic emergency with great impact worldwide for incidence and mortality. The clinical presentation of severe malaria can be very polymorphic and rapidly progressing. Therefore a correct diagnosis and an early and adequate antiparasitic and support therapy are essential.
