RESUMEN

Los servicios de urgencias hospitalarias, extra-hospitalariasy los médicos de Atención Primaria juegan un papelprimordial en el diagnóstico precoz del enfermo séptico. Apesar de los avances terapéuticos, la sepsis tiene una mortalidaddel 40%, con una incidencia en aumento. Se trata deuna enfermedad tiempo-dependiente, esto es, el retrasodiagnóstico o terapéutico influye negativamente en el pronósticode los pacientes. Por todo ello, nos planteamos estudiardiferentes variables cuantitativas que nos permitieranuna identificación más rápida del paciente séptico, disminuyendo,así la morbi-mortalidad del mismo (AU)

ABSTRACT

The Emergency Departments at main Hospitals, theextra-hospitals teams also and, so General Practitioners,have a very important rule in the early diagnosis of the septicdisease. The therapeutic advances have not improvedthe mortality, which is, nowadays, in our work place nearby 40%, and increasing day by day. We’re talking about atime- dependent disease, which brings that the delay in thediagnosis or the treatment has a negative influence in theprognosis of these patients the later we identified the worstfor the patient.
