La Antropología en México: una propuesta de acercamiento al otro / Anthropology in Mexico: a proposed approach to other

RESUMEN

El abordaje de los problemas de salud y enfermedad, en la actualidad, se identifican dentro del modelo médico hegemónico que cumple en sícon funciones de cura y prevención e incluso control social, dominio ideológico y exclusividad jurídica. En México la práctica medica institucionalizada actualmente se remita a la prescripción de fármacos en suprimer nivel de atención (APS), esto trae consigo una relación con el otroque lo posiciona como un entramado biológico y no como un ser inmerso en una dimensión biológica-histórica-social-psicológica-cultural, ya quese des-subjetiviza el cuerpo para captar solamente lo biológico, lo cual consiste en des-historizarlo de sus relaciones múltiples con el otro y conla experiencia existencial del mismo sujeto, reduciendo la palabra del paciente, negando al otro y negándose así el propio médico. En este ensayo se busca dilucidar algunos elementos que permitan explicar cuál esla relación con el otro dentro de la medicina institucionalizada mexicana desde una mirada de la antropología médica.

ABSTRACT

The approach to the problems of health and disease, at present, are identified within the dominant medical model that satisfies it self with functions of prevention and even cure and social control, ideological domination and legal exclusivity. In Mexico currently institutionalized medical practice is referred to the prescription of drugs in primary health care (PHC), this entails a relationship with another network positions it as a biological and not as a being immersed in a biological dimension- historical-social-psychological-cultural. Since it de-subjectivizes the body to catch only the biological, which is de-historicize its multiple relationships with others and with the existential experience of the same subject. Reducing the word of the patient, and refusing to deny the other and the doctor himself. This essay seeks to clarify some elements that explain what is the relationship with the other within the Mexican institutionalized medicine from a viewpoint of medical anthropology.
