ABSTRACT

Febrile seizures are the most common seizure disorder in the pediatric population and represent a frequent cause of consultation in emergency departments, confirming its importance. We present an updated and practical review regarding this pathology, along with an operative definition that supports the application of a flowchart that integrates concepts and procedures that can be easily applied at any location nationwide.
