A review of the results obtained during the last three years in the Allergy Section of the Department of Dermatology of the Faculty of Medicine of Barcelona is made by the authors. In the series of contact dermatitis patients (1646) the order of frequency of each allergen is analysed. Positive reactions from occupational allergens, cross-reactions and concomitant reactions are reported. The authors have carried out a comparative study with the results obtained by Brum in Geneva over a period of 2 years and by the North American Contact Dermatitis Group.
