[Rational surgical treatment of mandibular retrognathism]. / Traitement chirurgical rationnel des rétrognathies mandibulaires.

The authors expose their approach in the surgical treatment of mandibular retrognathism. They study the anomalies in the transverse, vertical and sagittal directions. They increase the transverse size of the maxilla by the mean of an original technique ("trident" osteotomy) recently described. Also they show several technical procedures about incisions, osteotomies and osteosynthesis.
