[Temperature reaction of swine treated with a biomass of microalgae]. / Prouchvane na temperaturnata reaktsiia pri svine, tretirani s biomasa ot mikrovodorasli.

Studied was the effect of a microalgae suspension on the pyrogenic response in pigs. It was found that the single or manifold muscular application of a 10 per cent suspension of microalgae of the Chlorella and Scenedesmus species at the rate of 3 to 5 cm3 led to a transient (up to 6 hours) rise of body temperature.
