ABSTRACT
The unusual association of severe enteropathy and vesicobullous skin eruption known as Acrodermatisis Enteropathica is reported, apparently for the first time in West Indian literature, in a male Jamaican Negro child. He became ill at the age of six months and died six months later, despite vigorous therapy. An older male sibling had died at age 18 months after a similar illness lasting one year. The parents and a younger female sibling now one year are unaffected. The aetiology of the condition is not known (AU)
