ABSTRACT
179 blood specimens from inhabitants of Grenada were collected in August, 1956, and have been studied for evidence of immunity to a number of insect transmitted viruses. Haemagglutination-inhibition tests and virus neutralization tests have been employed in these studies. There is evidence that dengue infection has been prevalent, principally in coastal towns and villages. The presence of Ilheus and St. Louis virus remains conjectural. Yellow fever, from our data, might have been present last in Grenada at the turn of the century. (AU)
