Therapeutic approaches for uterine fibroma

ABSTRACT

There is about 30% of women experienced uterine fibroma and most of them needn’t treatment. For symptomatic women, various medical treatments were more and more extensive. Surgical treatments were indicated depending on many factors and individual patient. Besides traditional therapies (myomectomy, hysteroscopic myomectomy, uterine endoscopy, etc), there were more and more new techniques such as uterine artery embolization. This technique is relative new and minimal invasive of management, but it still needs further research
