Revalidation of Habrobracon brevicornis stat. rest. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) Based on the CO1, 16S, and 28S Gene Fragments.

Habrobracon hebetor (Say 1836) is an important biological control agent around the world. Many hundreds of papers have been published about its biology. Due to the global distribution of H. hebetor many species have been described over the years in various countries as a sister species to H. hebetor but were eventually synonymized with H. hebetor. One of which is Habrobracon brevicornis (Wesmael 1838). Here, we revalidate the status of H. brevicornis stat. rest. based on molecular data. It remains difficult to discriminate the two species based on morphology data alone, but with molecular data the differentiation is straight forward. An integrative key is provided to distinguish H. hebetor from H. brevicornis.

Redescription of two species of Coelotanypus (Kieffer) 1913 (Diptera: Chironomidae) in rivers of the Parano-Platense basin (Argentina, South America).

Male imagos of Coelotanypus delpontei (Edwards) are redescribed and newly figured and the immature stages are described and figured for the first time. During this study, male imagos of C. mendax (Lynch Arribalzaga) are also redescribed. The specimens were collected from the Paraná and near Uruguay rivers in the Parano-Platense basin.

O Programa Mais Médicos do Governo Federal: um aporte pedagógico na saúde para a construção da cidadania / The Program More Doctors of the Federal Government: a pedagogical contribution in health for the construction of citizenship

O presente artigo trata da celeuma que a implementação da política pública – Programa Mais Médicos – do Governo Federal, causou quando do seu início. Partindo de um contexto históricodo SUS – Sistema Único de Saúde – se analisam a repercussão na mídia e sociedade, bem como entrevistas de representantes da classe médica, governamentais e da própria população, fazendo também um aporte pedagógico do programa como facilitador ao ingresso do médico brasileiro formado no exterior, no mercado de trabalho do país, mediante Exame Revalida.
