Problematizar no es estigmatizar

En este trabajo se intenta pensar, desde la clínica, a los pacientes que presentan malestar con el sexo asignado al nacer. La autora plantea que, en su experiencia con ellos, la han hecho escuchar su sufrimiento escondido bajo su demanda o afirmación de sentirse del «otro sexo¼. Se cree que hay que «escuchar¼ qué los lleva a esta afirmación, y esto no es estigmatizarlos, sino problematizar la escucha, tarea de todo analista. Se hace un breve recorrido por la teoría de P. Aulagnier y de J. Laplanche, quien le dio un estatuto psicoanalítico al concepto de género, resaltando lo inconsciente parental que parasita la asignación de género, y que el infans deberá traducir. Se comparte con los lectores dos casos clínicos para pensar la complejidad que infiltra dicho malestar. La interpretación de estos no implica una generalización para todos los casos, que siempre estarán guiados por la problemática personal de cada paciente

In this paper we try to think, from a clinical point of view, about patients who present discomfort with the sex assigned at birth. The author states that, in her experience with them, she could listen to their suffering hidden under their demand or statement of feeling of the «other sex¼. It is believed that it is necessary to «listen¼ to what leads them to this assertion, and this is not to stigmatize them, but to problematize listening, the task of every analyst. A brief review is made of the theory of P. Aulagnier and J. Laplanche, who gave a psychoanalytic status to the concept of gender, highlighting the parental unconscious that parasitizes the gender assignment and that the infant must translate. She shares two clinical cases with the readers in order to think the complexity that infiltrates the patients discomfort. The interpretation of the two cases does not imply a generalization for all the cases, which will always be guided by the singularity, which will always be guided by the personal conflicts of each patient

La interpretación "justa": Paradojas del exceso

La autora intenta incursionar en las complejidades del trabajo transferencial-contratransferencial, en el que el riesgo de exceso en la interpretación es piedra corriente del análisis. Relacionándolo con la clínica, toma algún ejemplo para dar cuenta de la imposibilidad de refrenar estas interpretaciones con ribetes excesivos, en respuesta al exceso de las experiencias intensamente vivenciadas por el paciente a la vez, y generalmente sin palabras. Será mediante el análisis, en los tiempos en que el analista puede ofrecer una interpretación que apunte a la reintroyección de los contenidos metabolizados en la mente del analista, que estos podrán ser transformados en elementos pensables que aporten al entendimiento de lo que pasa en la mente del paciente, del analista y de la dupla

The author attempts to explore the complexities of the transferential- countertransferential work where the risk of excess in the interpretation is the mainstay of the analysis. Relating it to the clinic, she takes some examples to show the impossibility of restraining these interpretations with excessive edges, in response to the excess of experiences intensely lived by the patient at the same time, and generally without words. It will be through the analysis, in the times when the analyst can offer an interpretation that aims at the reintrojection of the metabolized contents in the mind of the analyst, that these can be transformed into thinkable elements that contribute to the understanding of what is going on in the mind of the patient, the analyst and the duo

El escrito aborda el tema de las deudas, tanto en los pasos de constitución subjetiva como en la dinámica social. Describe la deuda como derivada del anudamiento de los tres registros propuestos por Lacan. Especialmente, en los casos en los que lo Real no logre ser resuelto por lo Simbólico y lo Imaginario pretenda hacerse cargo de resolver ese déficit. Termina ejemplificando con un comentario acerca de la tragedia que evidencia en acción lo no resuelto y la solución extrema, siempre ligada a la muerte, para que la situación logre apaciguarse

The paper addresses the issue of debt, both in the steps of subjective constitution and in social dynamics. It describes debt as deriving from the knotting of the three registers proposed by Lacan. Especially in cases where the Real fails to be resolved by the Symbolic and the Imaginary pretends to take charge of resolving this deficit. It ends with a commentary on the tragedy that shows in action the unresolved and the extreme solution, always linked to death, so that the situation can be appeased

Trazos del cuerpo al papel: La creación del dibujo de la figura humana en el niño

El logro de la figura humana en el niño pondrá en juego lo que llamaremos un montaje significante de escrituras, de armado de cuerpo erógeno, escritura marcada por la pérdida atravesada por el significante. En circulación deseante, el otro/Otro imprimirá marcas, registros primordiales que conformarán psiquismo. En este acto creativo el niño re-crea la falta de donde se partió y dará cuenta de los recorridos escriturales de su cuerpo. Lo plantearemos como un salto del espejo al papel. Y el asombro presente por la capacidad de encontrar una vez más una representación unificada imaginaria y a la vez simbólica de su cuerpo. Este salto estará sostenido por la respuesta asombrada y jubilosa del adulto, que nombra, valida y certifica la unidad de la imagen realizada. Esto hace referencia a la inscripción de lo humano en su carácter simbólico

The achievement of the human figure in the child will involve what we will call a significant montage of writings, the assembly of an erogenous body, writing marked by loss traversed by the signifier. El cerno de la estructuración psíquica

En el intercambio realizado sobre el tema de lo infantil, la autora plantea que dicha denominación es pertinente, aceptando que las palabras nunca dan cuenta de la profundidad que pretenden, siempre que aceptemos que eso que llamamos infantil son marcas originarias que se juegan en la estructuración psíquica, muchas intraducibles a la palabra, soterradas pero con efecto significante en la estructura, y que no se trata de la infancia, sino que nos acompañan durante toda la vida y pueden emerger en forma de actos, soma o creatividad. Esto plantea problemas en la práctica psicoanalítica si nos limitamos a la escucha del discurso verbal y a la asociación libre. A veces es en el analista donde se producen ocurrencias, captando indicios e introduciendo hipótesis en una puesta en palabras que es imprescindible, pero aceptando que son siempre imprecisas y que intentan bucear en lo irreductible de lo infantil, generador de repeticiones y dolor, pero también de creatividad

Un comentario irreverente: Trazas e inicios de un discurso psicoanalítico en el Uruguay

El 12 de diciembre de 1935, Iris Cabezudo, una «joven normalista¼, asesina de varios balazos a su padre, Lumen. La noticia fue publicada por múltiples periódicos de la época, cobrando así gran relevancia pública. Un año más tarde fue publicado el informe médico legal realizado por el psiquiatra Camilo Payssé. Allí aparecía un hito que podemos considerar iniciático y fundamental: el psiquiatra Valentín Pérez Pastorini realizó un comentario haciendo una referencia al psicoanálisis, novedosa e inédita. El comentario, realizado desde una posición de irreverencia, hace inteligible una distancia con el discurso de la psiquiatría de la época. Discute la utilización fragmentaria de las teorías psicoanalíticas, subrayando la importancia del método para poder llegar a conclusiones psicoanalíticas. Quedaba atrás cierto eclecticismo característico de la psiquiatría de comienzos del siglo veinte. Del psicoanálisis ya no se iba a poder hablar de cualquier manera

On December 12, 1935, Iris Cabezudo, a «young student teacher¼, murdered her father Lumen with several bullets. The news was published by multiple newspapers of the time, thus gaining great public relevance. A year later, the forensic medical report by psychiatrist Camilo Payssé was published. There appeared a milestone that we can consider initiatory and fundamental: the psychiatrist Valentín Pérez Pastorini made a commentary making a novel reference to Psychoanalysis. The commentary, made from a position of irreverence, makes intelligible a distance with the Psychiatry discourse of the time. He discusses the fragmentary use of psychoanalytic theories, highlighting the importance of method in order to reach psychoanalytic conclusions. A certain eclecticism characteristic of psychiatry at the beginning of the twentieth century was left behind. Psychoanalysis could no longer be talked about in the same way

El objetivo de este trabajo es poner en consideración el envejecimiento como etapa propia del final de la vida. Varias encrucijadas son las que se entrelazan a partir del hecho de envejecer; se hace hincapié en el cuerpo, la psiquis, la sociedad, la cultura en la cual dicho envejecimiento se encuentre inmerso, considerando a su vez el fenómeno del envejecimiento poblacional actual, así como también la situación global actual en la cual nos encontramos inmersos. The objective of this paper is to consider aging as a stage of the end of life. The fact of aging intertwines several crossroads. Emphasis is placed on the body, the psyche, society, and the culture in which said aging is immersed ‒ considering, in turn, the phenomenon of current population aging as well as considering the current global situation in which we find ourselves immersed. Una clínica "engenerada": Hacia un psicoanálisis que empuje hacia adelante

El psicoanálisis ha descubierto verdades, que se han propuesto como universales, a las que hay que someter permanentemente a revisión para despejar en ellas su posible impregnación histórica. Este artículo propone trazar algunas líneas que reflejen la complejidad de algunas situaciones clínicas que nos enfrentan a tener que abrir caminos de comprensión y teorizar acerca de fenómenos tales como la violencia de género sobre las mujeres en el ámbito de las relaciones erótico-afectivas o los efectos psíquicos del abuso sexual infantil en la vida adulta. El psicoanálisis que incluye la perspectiva de género ha abierto vías fecundas de comprensión en la clínica, así como ha recusado la ilusión universalista de algunos postulados clásicos sobre la sexualidad y subjetividad de mujeres y varones. Desde esta perspectiva teórica, y con los aportes de J. Laplanche y S. Bleichmar, la autora comenta, a modo de ilustración, tres situaciones clínicas cuyo punto en común son mujeres abusadas en su infancia

Psychoanalysis has discovered truths that have been proposed as universals these must be permanently reviewed to clear up their possible historical impregnation. This article aims at drawing some lines that reflect the complexity of some clinical situations, which confront us with having to open ways of understanding and theorizing about phenomena such as gender violence against women in erotic-affective relationships or the psychic effects of child sexual abuse in adult life. Psychoanalysis with a gender perspective has opened fruitful paths of understanding in the clinic and has also challenged the universalist illusion of classic postulates on the sexuality and subjectivity of women and men. From this theoretical perspective and with the contributions of J. Laplanche and S. Bleichmar, the author comments, by way of illustration, three clinical situations whose common ground is being women abused in their childhood

La escucha de los procesos de renuncia y duelo en las configuraciones familiares actuales que son el resultado de la reproducción médicamente asistida

En este trabajo, la autora se propone desplegar algunas facetas de la complejidad del trabajo psíquico al que se somete cada individuo cuando se acerca a un servicio de procreación médicamente asistida, con el deseo de ser padre y la esperanza de crear una familia. Se trata de una experiencia vital que pone a prueba el trabajo de transformación psíquica y de elaboración, no solo de lo sexual, con sus diferentes teorías sexuales infantiles. Sin embargo, es importante no omitir y dar un lugar a la importancia del trabajo de elaboración de renuncias psíquicas, así como a los procesos psíquicos inherentes al trabajo de duelo. La autora ilustra con viñetas clínicas la importancia del apoyo y del acompañamiento de las pacientes en el seno de un servicio de fertilidad

In this paper the author proposes to unfold some facets of the complexity of the psychic work to which each individual is subjected when he or she approaches a medically assisted procreation service with the desire to become a parent and the hope of creating a family. It is a life experience that puts to the test the work of psychic transformation and elaboration not only of the sexual, with its different infantile sexual theories. It is however important not to omit and to give a place to the importance of the work of elaboration of psychic renunciations as well as to the psychic processes inherent to the work of mourning. The author illustrates with clinical vignettes the importance of support and accompaniment of patients within a fertility service

Presencia paterna en un mundo cambiante

En los últimos más de cincuenta años, ha habido un cambio significativo en la comprensión de la posición del padre y su sentido en el desarrollo del niño. Mientras que, previamente, el padre era visto más como una persona distante y, en términos de la concepción freudiana de la constelación edípica, como un mediador de las prohibiciones edípicas para establecer el orden simbólico, un giro cultural ha llevado a nuevas constelaciones familiares y a nuevas concepciones de la posición del padre. Este trabajo se propone comparar y relacionar las recientes perspectivas psicoanalítica y de la psicología evolutiva sobre la importancia del padre con el concepto clásico del Edipo. Basado en la función básica del padre de proteger al hijo/a [child], el trabajo distingue la protección paterna de nivel preedípico de la de nivel edípico. Ambas se complementan mutuamente y, de acuerdo con el autor, en una «posición antiincestuosa¼ del padre. Esta tesis es ilustrada a través de un ejemplo clínico

Over the past more than fifty years, there has been a significant change in the understanding of the fathers position and meaning in child development. Whereas previously the father was seen more as a distant person and, in terms of the Freudian conception of the Oedipus constellation, as a mediator of Oedipal prohibitions to establish a symbolic order, a cultural shift has led to new family constellations and to new conceptions of the fathers position. This article aims to compare and relate recent psychoanalytic and developmental psychological views of the importance of the father with the classical Oedipal concept. Based on the basic father function of protecting the child, a father protection on the preoedipal level and oedipal level are distinguished. Both complement each other and, according to the author, lead to an «anti-incestuous position¼ of the father. This thesis is illustrated by a clinical example
